Disturbing
by Sebrina on 11/02/2023I had my most unpleasant car buying experience to date at 5 Star Nissan of Albany. I did leave with a vehicle but was greeted with a disrepectful and brash salesperson upon arrival. I left the premises but returned after speaking with his… Manager. The situation was rectified with a new salesperson (S. Rollins) who was Awesome! His Customer Service and Professionalism was the only high point in my ordeal. The person who closed out my sale had a disturbing disposition as well. He behaved as if my business was an Inconvenience to himself and Nissan. I was shaking and nearly in tears before it was all over. I had my Own financing and needed nothing from the Dealership other than the vehicle. I purchased a used vehicle and it was neither Washed nor Detailed before being handed over to me. My Only excitement was the conversation I had with my salesperson (S. Rollins) and the vehicle itself. I asked if I could get a complimentary oil change along with my purchase and was told No. Although the vehicle was not expensive, had I known the level of Customer Service (or lack there of) would be commiserate with how much money was being spent... I would have chosen a different Dealership. I won't ever do business at that location in the future because I made my complaints known to management and they were indeed addressed but... at the lowest level of Concern to me and the Business I transacted there.Disrespect
by Nikki on 09/18/2022came to purchase a used vehicle . I was told one price by the salesman, I asked the finance man how much the total will be with Finance , & was told the same thing the sales man told me until it was time to sign the paperwork and I see a… TOTALLY different number. They was upset because I said I no longer wanted to sign. The general manger was so nasty he had no respect. Attitude was so rude and disrespectful. Seems they tell you a price and who signing you have another $20,000 added and they max because you say no. Make sure you have the total numbers of the car before signing anything. To the general manager I will never recommend this store nor your attitude of disrespect.I would never contact you due to your rudeness to me due to the fact my husband mistakenly took the key to the vehicle that was handed to him by your salesman. You demanded me to bring the key back knowing I lived nowhere in your area. You was rude and your salesman also felt the same who advise me to not allow anyone to ruin my day. John Scinto your exact words was “ you need to bring me my keys to my car now”… You was hired by the company which does t make you the own of the vehicle. You was upset when I told you I didn’t agree with the price. As started before I would never recommend anyone to the dealership long as your a manger. I have 3 car from the dealership and never experienced the disrespect I did with any other managers in my years of dealing with the company. Good day and enjoy your car 😂
No one was rude to the customer. There was no additional charge for the agreed sales price to purchase the vehicle. The Retail Installment Contract to finance the vehicle based on the agreed sale price of the vehicle and the accrued interest with the available lender over the life of the loan was reflected according to federal regulations. We are not the lender. The customer said she was not happy with that interest accrual number. The total interest calculation is what the lender would finance her purchases for based on the purchase price multiplied by the interest rate the lender was charging over the multiple year life of the loan if she did not pay off the financing of the vehicle earlier than the number of years she wanted to finance the vehicle. That calculation determines what the monthly payment is to the lender for financing the vehicle. That $20,000 figure had nothing to do with the agreed sales price of the vehicle, it was only the interest accrual with the lender. If the customer did not choose to finance the vehicle, there would be no accrued interest, because there would be no loan on the vehicle purchase. We explained to the customer that if she could find a lender charging a lower interest rate, she could do that. The customer seemed to clearly understand this and decided not to purchase the vehicle. We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a more positive experience with us at Five Star Nissan Of Albany. Our manager would really like to speak with you more regarding this matter. Please reach out to us at (229) 436-8807. We look forward to hearing from you.
