Great experience at Rick Case Genesis
James did a great job explaining my options. Made me more comfortable with my decision.
Buy a bicycle
I called for 3 days before i was able to talk to a human being and he did not know what he was talking about. After 8 days of calling I was able to speak to 3 different people and all gave me a different answer.BUY A BICYCLE
James and his staff where delightful
I just bought a used car from this place six months ago. I received a phone call from a salesperson name James. He asked me if I liked my current car. I told him that I'm paying a high interest rate . He assured me that he would help me with my problem. To make a long story short. I am now driving. Brand new 2018 Elantra. And he did what he said he did. James lowered my rate more then half .... If your paying to much interest and your car is not worth what you owe. James will make it happen I was buried close to 6k. And with only 500 down I'm I driving a new car
Bait and Switch
I saw an advertised price for a car at this dealership on the internet this morning. I called to enquire if they still had this particular vehicle. The salesperson said yes, come down and test it out. When I got there he kept showing me vehicles $10000 over the price that I was looking for. Upon enquiring what's up? Why the run around? The reply was the particular vehicle I wanted was sold in the hour it took me to get down there. I walked out. If you want to waste your time feel free to check them out.
Terrible sales service
It took 2 minutes for somebody to answer my phone call. The sales person did not have matching prices to what was listed online and was rude. He hung up on me when I was about to ask about other cars.
My wife and I were looking for a used or new Sonata. We arrived and met with Manager Orlando Martinez. He called a very professional salesman Khalid to show us what was available. We test drove three new models and one used model. After settling on a new Sonata Eco, we finished the input of our information and met with our Finance Manager Donovan. All in all we spent about three hours total and were totally satisfied with the price and service that we received. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for great onsite selections and professional service.
The worst dealer to buy a car
I am living the worst of my nightmares with Rick Case dealer in Plantation, I bought a car last Sunday 2016 with 130 miles only, Hyundai Elantra, the next day when I went to put something in the trunk I found a glue yellow spots everywhere terrible, I immediately took the car back because they wrote in the retail purchase agreement that a buyer has 3 days to return the car in the buyer is not satisfy, as soon I get there they refused to take the car back, the general manager was very rude, after 2 hours fighting with about 5 managers the sent a salesman to find another car for me, same color I asked the General manager that I can only pay the same price that I paid for the car that I am returning, he did not answer and the salesman told me that they have a car but I will have to pay 1500 more I told him I cannot, I want to return my car and leave, they continue argument and they do not want the car back and they do not want to give me another car at same price, they told me YOU NEED TO Call, Hyundai and ask them about that glue in that car, wow, tI did not have any other option under the pressure that they put me that I have to pay 1500 for same car without that glue, This is an experience that I will never forget, I never see managers so rude, disrespectful that do not follow their own contracts please do not go to that hell to buy a car, will be your worse nightmare that you will regret all your life. Anyway tomorrow I have an appointment with the lawyer to discuss this issue.
Unprofessional [non-permissible content removed]
With the following I want to make you aware How unprofessional and unethical rick case sale staff was today. I come to the dealership for an appointment Mr Reece Had set up to purchase a SantaFe Sport 2.0T Ultimate Once inside no one knows about my appointment, a sales person with covered name tag jumps on me as shark on prey To top it off, once I was able explained my business Feres Abualown General Sales Manager tells me to go to Georgia. Is this how To treat customers?
Rick Case Plantation Service is the Worst
Don't buy a Hyundai. This is the 4th time I have tried to bring my 2009 Genesis to be repaired by Dealership. While driving the AC will go out from "Max Cold" and "recirculate" to default 72 degrees and non-circulate. This is always followed by my car, after being parked, no longer having any energy. Can't electronically open door or trunk, no lights, no power, no nothing.. Car just won't start. The car will sometimes will come back on after 10 minutes, 2 hours or overnight. Can't get a call back from service technician, service manager, GM or Hyundai regional. Colin Lord and GM Larson are plain worthless and [non-permissible content removed].
I would definitely not recommend this dealership. They aren't a true car dealership despite lying about it. I called true car to report them and was told they were recently excluded because they don't honor true care pricing. They aren't friendly and not willing to negotiate at all. Oscar and Fares are both zeros in my opinion. I ended up at Lehman Hyundai on the corner of county line road and 441. They were extremely nice and followed through on all that they promised. I would definitely go to Lehman and not deal with Rick Case on 441 in Plantation. A ZERO out of 10!!!!
New Car Complaint
Stacy, Good morning, hope all is well. I came in yesterday like promised and test drove the 2013 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec CPO and also drove the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L. After driving both and working with Rafael (who also sold me my car last year and was a pleasure working with) I decided on the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L. I showed Rafael the car that was advertised online: http://ftlauderdalehyundai.com/Vehicle_Details/desc/New_Hyundai_Genesis__/vehicleID/839394 Rafael said he needed to talk to a manager so Tom Krizanic came out and look at the ad and said yes, the price is right after all the incentives and to write it up. After which, Jimmy Contreras (New Car Sales Manager) met with me and was very RUDE, argued with me and racially profiled me said “no it was a typo by the internet department” and he just checked and that the internet department corrected the mistake. Mr. Contreras, actually stated to me, in front of my fiancé and Rafael, “I am not doing business with you and not selling you a car!” I was completely shocked by his attitude, especially since I was a repeat customer. So obviously I feel that Rick Case Hyundai is not practicing fair business tactics and blatantly applied a “Bait and Switch” tactic with me. Especially, since the Mr. Contreras (who was rude and told me to leave the dealership) said the ad had been corrected. Yet, as you can see below and if you click on the link above the ad is still active and advertising the same price. At this point, I will give your company one opportunity to make this right, if not, I will contact the Better Business Bureau of Florida and file a complaint, as well as notify the local media in an effort to help protect the public from the abuse I experienced yesterday. I look forward to hearing from you.
DON"T TRUST RICK CASE 441 PLANTATION (Ft. Lauderdale), FL
Pure Lies right to my face. I had been communicating via internet and then called and spoke with the internet manager. I then went in to this dealer to test drive a sonata and the Int mngr assigned me to a salesperson, Joe L., stating that he would take excellent care of me and I would get the best possible price. As Always, be a little leary of a car salesman. I had already stopped there once the week before. Before I got started with Joe, I decided to take a walk through the lot and check out the colors available on the lot. They had the exact color and body style that I was willing to purchase. We went for a test drive. Afterwards, we sat down and Joe treated me [non-permissible content removed]. Joe and the sales manager, Orlando, insisted that they only had 2 cars available, a bright silver loaded and a loaded black with about 2500.00 of misc. dealer add-ons ( fancy wheels, more and more chrome, etc). Neither knew that I had already walked the lot. He tried and lied to my face that they only had those 2 and no other colors. He then pulled out the cost sheet and literally tried to sell me the car starting with the msrp plus the dealer add ons and a 699 dealer fee as well. He then told me their best finance rate was 4.99-7.99 depending on how I qualify. The man wouldn't have even given me the rebates had I not mentioned it. He wanted to sell me THAT car no matter what. I was completely calm and totally shocked and surprised that when I asked the sales manager behind the counter that he agreed on only having the 2 colors. Meanwhile, they had 8-10 more of the same 2014 models on the lot of other colors. Go figure. To make it a happy ending, I did wind up purchasing the car and color that I wanted from another dealer who pulled the car from the Rick Case 441 Plantation, FL lot. I love this car.
A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH
after dealing with a local dealership that i will never go back to, aj h. and patrick r. promised and delivered everything that was mentioned to me. i want to thank them again for a great customer experience
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO WORST ENEMY
Horrible service!!!! I went there 6 times for my check engine light.... Problem is still not fixed!!! Then they tried to charge me on the 6th visit. Service advisor admitted that the reason that it wasnt fixed before because those particular mechanic's are "lazy and just clear lights, but i found someone to do it for $110/hour".... My car is still under warranty... But even if it wasn't... On the 6th visit, this should be free. Why do you have mechanics working for you who dont want to fix cars.... Horrible service by Ernest B., Leroy L., and Richard L.... I will never buy a car from here. I will prevent all my friends and family from buying here. I will never even get an oil change from here. If you are thinking about going here, i would advise that you try a different place... These people will lie to you and not fix your car... Oh!!! I forgot the best part.... One of the mechanics stole money from my car........ So not only did they not fix my car, they stole money too....
Tony was very helpful, as were all the people with which we had contact. Quickly agreed on a price and the car was made ready while I had lunch.
Bait and switch
Hyundai does not have internet managers. They negotiate a price on internet. I had an out the door price with all fees and taxes negotiated then give you to a floor salesman when you come in. The guy you negotiated with on internet is not there. Then they deny you the TMV price you negotiated.we haggled a price we could both live with. Then kept trying to up the price even after we had it in print from them at the dealership. Then when we came back to pick up car (Cause it had to be brought in from another dealer). and close deal with f & i guy they Tried to raise price again. We caught it again. The floor salesman was very professional and I have no problems with him. The Floor managers and F & I guy were the ones doing the tricks. This is an Edmunds preferred dealer and should honor internet negotiated prices. We did not come to dealership to ngotiate a deal, we had one when we arrived. It should be honored
Hyundai warranty hoax
Sonata-(15,000) miles towed and taken into Rick Case five times in less than 30 days for: ESC light on, car loses power. On 8/7/12, (fifth "repair"), I explained to Gen. Mgr. Leroy Larson that his sales rep. Mo Chitail agreed it needed repair. Larson said "he gave the car a lengthy test drive and it was fine". Svc. report shows no work done & no miles driven. Hyundai twice said their Regional office would handle it but couldn't give me a tel No.- Still waiting. (There is no regional office.) If Hyundai doesn't pay the dealer enough to fix a particular problem they'll screw you around (truth has no value)and refuse a loaner. The warranty arbitration clause takes 40 days and, if you're sucessful, yields what you'd get for a trade-in, . This was my 2nd Hyundai. Never had a problem, but this cancelled all that out and much, much more. Sayonara!
I purchased my car at Rick Case Hyundai after pricing the vechicle at Edmonds.com. When I arrived at the dealership the sales associates were professional and knowledgeable. The sales associate showed me the exact car that I priced on the internet. They honored the price that was given by Edmonds and I was in and out of the dealership with in 2 hours. I would highly recommend Rick Case to anyone looking to purchase a Hyundai.
Just purchased my new Velstor. It was the best car buying experience ever. My salesman, Tony, was polite, knowledgeable and never pushy. Ted, the finance manager made me feel very comfortable and made all the paper work understandable. The new building is gorgeous and I have already recommended this place to friends.
Horrible Attitude Tried To Intimidate
I would never buy a car from this place. Looking to buy a car within the next week, I went to the dealership looking for information. What I got was doubletalk. They were all smiles until they finally understood I was just trying to learn more about the car so I could make an intelligent purchase decision. They tried to browbeat me into buying "right now" even though I repeatedly told them I was just trying to get information. They were insulting, nasty, rude and unprofessional. The irony was the next day I got an followup email telling me that they treat their customers just like their best friends. I found that amusing, almost funny.
Got what I wanted,plus
The salesman,Tony Long and the Manger,Orlando Martinez were helpful and working to make me happy. I purchased more car for the same money than I thought I would get.Great deal.
