Not going again.

I got the typical car dealership treatment... lies and manipulations. I attempted to purchase a car from here, but left before doing so. I was originally told that my $3000 down payment was a "service fee for securing the loan" and that it "would not apply to principal". I walked out over that one, and then was called back in with the guise of "there must be a misunderstanding". I gave them a second shot, and this time they would not accept my bank records. I literally logged into my bank and printed the statements out in front of them. They kept telling me my statements were not good enough and that I needed it to "look" a certain way. Unfortunately my bank did not display statements in a way which were appealing to the salesmen here. I kept trying to get financing specifics and they danced around giving me any real numbers. I ultimately walked out after wasting 3.5 hours. The next morning I went to another dealership and walked out with a car in about an hour with a GREAT deal and no hassle.

First of all, the salesman, Neil Stephani, is the only saving grace for this dealership! I leased a 2016 Malibu in mid march. I was down here caring for my mother who is ill and the car I was leasing needed to be turned in. They knew the car had to be registered in SC where I live and assured me that tax, tag, title, transfer, etc. was included in the deal. They didn't turn ant paperwork until 7/21. I then had to bring the car in for warranty and recall work on 7/27 (had to be towed in). When I picked up the car on 8/1 I inquired about the registration. They had it but no tag decal. I have now been advised (8/16) that there is a SC tax owed and I have to take care of that and if I get a ticket it's my problem. The service was also a nightmare. I needed a loaner car and they said they couldn't authorize until they confirmed it was warranty work though they knew about the recalls. It wasn't until 7/16 they determined it was warranty work (the car was 3 mos. old) and gave me a car to drive. The service guy Dave was rude and when my tag issue heated up I couldn't get a call back from the F & I guys, JD and Jeff, ot the Sales Mgr. Dominic. The only guy who responded to me and stayed on it was Neil. I had to call Chevy corporate just to get them to give me the bad news. They also have a store in Gainesville. I would steer clear of the dealership and Chevy in general. I only gave it one star because this mechanism wouldn't allow me to give none. This is the absolute worse experience I have ever had in buying/leasing a car. They really don't care about customers after they purchase a car and define the stereotype of car sales. They are rude, unresponsive and dishonest. I will make sure to speak to anyone who is thinking about going there to help them avoid this type of experience. I would say shame on them but they have no shame!

Worst place ever, to service your vehicle

As in multiple reviews about this dealership, STAY FAR AWAY FROM IT! They are [non-permissible content removed] at best. These are the people that give car dealerships a bad name. Unfortunately my car was towed there and I didn't have a choice but to have it fixed there, and they knew it and took full advantage of that. They charged more than double for the job, I called several other Chevrolet dealers to double check their pricing, I even showed them a copy of a work order from another GM dealer showing how much the job should cost, they ignored it and said "that's what we charge", even though the other GM dealers said it shouldn't be that much. After all this we got the car home and it STILL wasn't correct! Finally got it to our regular mechanic, he corrected what they didn't and told us how bad they were at Palm and he is always repairing their work for customers. Palm Chevrolet is the single worst dealership / service department I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are the reason people call the dealerships, "Stealerships"! Please read other review s and you'll see this is true.

Worst Customer Service In Ocala

Never have I been treated so terribly by a car dealership. Not once now but twice they have told us that they don't have time to appraise our trade in. This is a vehicle that we purchased from Palm. Their used car manager Dominic obviously doesn't care about repeat business. Because for the second time we have been told the Palm "does not have time" to even look at our trade-in. My fiance has left multiple voicemails for Dominic which have not been returned. We've been trying now have to get them to value this trade for 3 weeks. In my opinion palm Chevrolet has the worst customer service of any vehicle dealership I've ever seen and I will never buy a vehicle from them or any of their affiliates ever again.

Eddie was excellent to deal with in selling the car and that process went VERY well, as for the rest I purchased out of state and have had to leave multiple voicemails and call dozens of times to get answers. I have been argued with and told this is " how it works" when you purchase out of state. I used to sell cars for chevy and we never had this issue. terrible service and arguing with a customer is appalling that isn't the chevy way. This is appalling and is why people don't trust people in the car industry. If they would have called me back and understood my concerns I would have been more understanding.

Our service consultant, JC Gilbert, is always cheerful, respectful, listens to our issues and advises us appropriately. We feel the personal touch and know we will be taken care of. Some people complain about the waiting issue but if a person wants the problems taken care of, the techs cannot rush. We have would highly recommend Chevy dealers.

The collision center staff and workmanship I was very pleased with. They provided me with a loaner when one came available. My car turned out very good. While I was there and called into the Service dept. however, things were a bit rough. I was on hold for several times and lengthy times, and sometimes it went to voicemail. While there, I looked for staff and at times only saw one single advisor, and was very busy. I tried to get pricing on a service and got several different answers and never got a price. I hope this improves.

The consultants were all very good and explained everything to me. I was warned there would be a two-hour wait which went more to three hours but I had no choice but to wait. All of the work was done well. I wish you had some iPads in the "quiet" waiting room. Lots of dealerships do now.

Car had a 5 year , 100,000 miles manufactory warrantee but the guy kept telling me that there was no warranty on the car. I had an appointment at 9 am but it took him an hour to figure it out. I didn't come out until noon. I'm not happy.
