Tire Shine Stained My Brand New White Tacoma
I had tire shine from this place stain my, not even 3 week old, White 2017 Tacoma SR5 paint. I bought my truck from a different dealer but had my truck washed here at Toyota of Deerfield in south Florida. Darren Palmer, the General Sales Director flat out told me I was lying about the tire shine staining my paint. I said, ok let's put more tire shine on my tires and see if it stains my truck more, that will prove it was the tire shine. He refused and said he's not washing my truck because I'm not a customer of theirs. Then he told me he washes 300-500 cars a week and hasn't had one complaint like mine regarding tire shine staining the paint. I tried to show him the threads I found on tacomaworldDOTcom and a link from finishingDOTcom titled "Brown Stains on my Brand New Vehicle: Tire Shine? Mold Release Compound?" and he said he didn't care what "expert" threads or websites I showed him. After more complaining that my brand new truck (less than 2000 miles on it) was stained while he repeated "I can't do anything for you" he finally said "we no longer have business here" and him and his Professional Detailer turned their backs on me and walked away. COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Guess my only option at this point is to cross my fingers and hope it fades over time. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Very disappointed..
Grease on Mats - Corrected Promptly
Minor problem was promptly corrected when brought to management's attention. They strive for customer satisfaction.

Camry SE Special Edition
Purchased the car last week and dealer experience was very good. Several sales reps helped along the way, after 3+ tripes looking at different models and test driving. Nice clean operation and didn't feel like a used car lot. I never thought I would be buying a Camry but after test driving 3 other competitive models I ended up going back to the one that looked and drove best. I only have the 4 cylinder but it's got enough pep for my wife and 2 kids. Very happy so far, and much better on mileage than previous SUV.
All around good service. Completes work within the time frame quoted. Mario D the service rep is very good.
Took my deposit and Radio Silence
I put a deposit down with Elijah, through Nedra as the internet sales manager and Marco was the manager that "sealed the deal". After they had my deposit, they "forgot" to put the deal # on the car I ordered on the paperwork and didn't have the where with all to understand why that wasn't a binding contract. Once I actually put verbiage on paper to ensure the first right of refusal they "agreed" to the revised contract that took a day and a half to finalize since I wasn't in front of them. A week later I applied for credit. A full day later after I applied for credit, I have not heard back from them. I requested a refund earlier this evening both in an email and by calling the dealership due to the fact that I refuse to deal with a dealership that operates on the "out of sight out of mind principle.. No one returned my call. Caveat Emptor. (Let the buyer beware) I will be going in to retrieve my $1k tomorrow and begin the search for a car again. I wouldn't wish this dealership, or these sales people on my worst enemy.
Be careful with service! Is ALL about money!
Be careful when you take your car for service in this dealership. They will try to give you extra maintenance service to your car when it's not needed. For example, I took my car to make a regular oil change and then I got a call from service (Walter Propst) saying that it was extremely necessary to do (fuel injectors service, complete transmission fluid flush and cooling system fluid exchange) which my car didn't need until I hit 30k miles from the last time I did these same services. When I went to this dealer I have only hit 13,123 miles not 30,000 miles. They had all records of my car since I always do services in dealers and didn't check this detail and made me spend $437.50 plus taxes. I didn't realize until I went to other dealer in another state which the mechanic is friend of mine also in Toyota dealer and said I had to claim it because they weren't supposed to and they have to be responsible. I did and just ignore the case saying they didn't do anything wrong... but extra services. Really? And money grows on trees? They never follow up on the case. Never coming back to this dealer ever again!
Horrible in every way
I had to fight with them over every issue. Extended warranty through an outside company (that THEY sold me) was a HUGE hassle and a nightmare. Dishonest repair techs, salesman are everywhere like roaches. Avoid this place like the plague.
This place had a lot positive energy I am in love the way I was treated plus very happy with my vehicle my family bought vehicle in another place but after my experience with Toyota of Deerfield beach they define will only buy with the Brazilian team Carlos, Ana and Jander they are the best just go to see them you will be in love. The way they do business is the best way
I was looking to buy a new vehicle not sure which type or brand but after shopping everywhere make my decision to buy my first Toyota with the best time ever The Brazilian team they will take of you like they did with me......I complete recommend to all my friends, family and you that is reading my review.....love very much
Beware of bait and switch practices
When talking to a sales person over the phone, I asked for a 2014 Toyota Camry L for certain price out the door. I will not mention the price due to respect for the negotiation process. They did not have the color choice I wanted so the salesperson stated that I could get a gray 2015 Toyota Camry LE for close to that price. I told that salesperson not to waste my time if it wasn't within a couple of hundred dollars of the stated amount. That sales person stated it would be close, but I needed to come in for "leverage". I came in and found it the price would be closer to $3,000 greater than the price I stated. Obviously, this sales person wanted me to come in so he can switch me to a lesser vehicle.
Great experience from a friendly and professional staff.
We drove over 3 hours to see the exact Certified Toyota we wanted. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire staff made us feel valued. We were treated fairly and respectfully throughout all phases of the transaction. This store does business the way all stores should do business; openly, honestly, and with integrity. Defective and dangerous dashboards!
I brought my 2007 Toyota Avalon to the dealer and explained to James C. (the Service manager) that my dashboard was all sticky and cracking and emitting a dangerous chemical that made the dashboard cause a sheen that the sun reflected off of, causing it nearly impossible to see while driving during the daytime, with the sun out. He asked his Assistant Service manager (Michael Z.) to take pictures and submit them to their district representative. They took pictures and never contacted me again not even answering my e-mails. Not a very responsible dealership! They, or the Toyota Corp. should have contacted me and offered to replace the dashboard in my 2007 Avalon even though the warrantee had expired. The faulty material that was used was not my fault, it is Toyotas responsibility and the dealer to replace such a dangerous material before my wife or myself has a very serious car accident caused by the blinding sun glare! Not a phone call, not a letter and won't even answer an e-mail! I would recommend this dealership to no one!
Dealer to Avoid
I had a unfortunate opportunity of experiencing this dealership. I took my vehicle (a matrix) to look at trading to another toyota. I wanted to know how much my trade would be valued at in order to see if the deal would even be possible. I had already gone online to edmunds and got a quote ok 6500 for trade in value. The salesperson said "oh yes I can get that for you and while they are getting the value would you like a test drive" so I agreed to test the car I was interested in. after the test drive we went to the office and waited for over :30. When the salesman came back he said the value was $2500. I said that's not going to work and I want my keys so I can leave. He said ok and I walked into the showroom to leave. Waiting for another :30 minutes I started to complain about not getting my keys and wanting to leave. Finally the sales manager (or other [violative content deleted]) came up to me and asked me what I didn't like about the trade in value. I said it's not close to what I needed it to be and there was no point in discussing it further and I wanted my keys. He disappeared and :30 later I started walking about the dealership talking to anyone about finding my keys after I started talking to customers and explaining my experience my keys appeared. I won't go back and I won't get another Toyota. (My Matrix purchase wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't this close to being this poor either.)
Toyota of Deerfield Beach
This is a clean dealership but they make you wait a long time for service. I did the on-line quote and you would think I hadn't sent any information at all. I paid too much for the car...again, my fault, I had looked up all the information on Edmunds but they gave me a higher TMV and I believed them. Why oh why can't a dealer be honest....I know, they are there to make money. They also charged a dealer's fee...and I let them get away with that.
