TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE
When I purchased my brand new Silverado in 2014, after my 2011 was totaled in a vehicle accident, I noticed that the vehicle made a chirping sound every time I would accelerate. It was very annoying. So I brought the vehicle in for servicing only to be told by the service agent that they all do that. Well, I can attest that they don't ALL do that. Needless to say they didn't fix the issue. Not long after that the defroster on the right side of the vehicle stopped working. So again I brought it in for servicing only to be told that they don't do that there. So again not fixed. So needless to say I was not happy with the service since there was no service done. So I wrote Nucar off as someplace that I would buy a vehicle ever again only to receive an email asking me to take a survey. So I took the survey and as you can imagine it was very good. Apparently the new service manager immediately read my survey and called me. He told me to bring the vehicle in and they would make it right. GREAT I thought, maybe they're not the worst dealership I ever dealt with. Brought it in, they fixed the defroster and told me they would have to order a new exhaust to fix the chirping and we'd schedule a time to bring in the vehicle. These repairs were supposed to be fixed while the vehicle was under TOTAL warranty for free and they ignored it. The defroster still is inoperable and they want to charge me to fix the exhaust. Now when I send emails they are ignored. Bottom line... Shady dealership, shady technicians, shady managers. I will never buy another new or used vehicle from Nucar (and I bought 2 new ones) ever again. I wouldn't let Nucar change the air in my tires. Go to any other Chevy dealer besides them. Very sad. Thanks for nothing Darrin. I think you had good intentions but you failed to deliver. Guess I'll go buy a Ford. Is there something less then 1 star? Cause I'd give you that!
Service was good
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The waiting area for customers was very clean and the wait was not long.
Excellent Experience at Nucar
I had an excellent experience with Nucar. I live in Wilmington and it is actually inconvenient for me to have to travel for aut repairs. However based on the shuttle service, the easy process of scheduling service repairs, the exemplary customer service and repairs being made in a timely manner, makes me more than willing to travel a little further for repairs

fast and easy ordered truck the way I wanted it and good price. Don't bother getting a Capitol One GM card for discounts as they take them away if you don't use them on their schedule

Nucar in Nu Castle
Saleswoman Carolyn was courteous and helpful, determined my needs, and recommended a car that she thought was a good fit. She was very accomodating, picking me up in the suggested vehicle. She worked with me on price, explained what needed to be done to finish the sale. Steve was introduced, and paperwork was completed in a timely manner.
NuCar Chevy Staff is Amazing
I was recently discharged from a chapter 7 bankruptcy and after being turned down by so many dealers they got me approved for a 2016 Chevy Cruze. I drove off the lot with only 11 miles on my car. Communication was amazing I couldn't of Been taken care of any better. You guys are amazing at what you do thanks again!!! Vanessa, Karen and Ed you and the rest of the NuCar staff are wonderful!!!

From the sales manager, Chuck, working with me directly, to Bill, my sales person, who knows Corvettes like the back of his hand to Karen, who coordinated everything with the sale and got me into my car. If you must- it's worth a shot
Went in with comps almost like shopping for a home. It was a lengthy process and took awhile with the going back and forth nonsense but at the end of the day we got what we wanted for the price we wanted. The personalities of Bob & Steve were very warm and kind for being car salesmen. I would go back again & recommend them to my friends. Go in with the paperwork and mindset of what you want to walk out with
Pleasant and comfortable waiting room and the explanation (in laymen's term) of the exact services being done by the mechanics
I went to get an oil change and tire rotation done per my warranty. My experience was very good. The people and the dealership was professional, clean, and the people were very nice.
Well being a first time buyer, everything was broke down so that I understood exactly what was being asked of me and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Also bringing great prices to the table that no one would argue with. So all in all Nucar is an amazing dealership and I think they've just earned themselves a loyal customer, all thanks to Ian Moak.
Gear shift Transfer Cable
In regards to this visit, I had an emergency and they were very accommodating and I am thankful for that
I was greeted with courtesy,the recieving person came out took the milage on my vehicle and instructed me to leave my keys in the vehicle and asked what I was getting done and asked if there was anything else I needed to be done. He then gave me an estimate of how long it would take and directed me to waiting area.
I was on your lot one afternoon and spoke with Melody I think and she was great but the day I returned she was no working and I dealt with Ian he was also fantastic both were no pressure and made me feel comfortable. I did feel bad that I didn't deal with Melody when I returned.
Missing center cap
My wife came in for a oil change and a four tire rotation on my 2013 Silverado on Friday. When I looked at my truck Saturday morning I noticed the rear drivers side center cap was missing. We called right away and we were asked to bring the truck over for them to look at, I meet with your service writer and parts guys, and was told they would order on and call when it came in. The center cap was for a Moto Metal rim that came on the truck when I bought it. I just don't see how you could misplace a big chrome center cap. This cap is a bolt on with three allen bolts holding it on, so there is no way this cap was put back on. Your service and parts guys were a big help.
