No Title, bait and switch

They had no title. Wasted entire day and $200 for travel to buy a 2015 Honda on there lot. Not trust worthy, [non-permissible content removed]. Never again,,,,,

Center Subaru-The Staff make it truly a pleasant experience

I purchased a 2016 Forester April 2016-had problems with shifting by ~ July; Contacted Center, Xylinda was excellent, she likes informed the manager, who promptly arranged for service appt. Repairs were made, under warranty so no cost...they provided a loaner (as stated during purchasing process), & also cleaned the interior! And I have a dog, who sheds as often as he breathes. I would and have recommended Center Subaru to family and friends; they are forthright, and have integrity. ""Sales person was Joe Kalosky, very patient, as it had been a while since I bought a new car. No.pressure, just sincere interest in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Great, if you're proactive

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Center Subaru. We bought a used car from them, a Hyundai, and got a killer deal on it because they mis-listed the mileage as too high. When the salesman realized the mistake he stuck to the advertised price, which made it quite a score. We worked with Majid, who was excellent and not condescending at all (which, since we're both women, is a big plus). We paid in full, so I did not deal with their financing department. The service there was quite good--we were attended to quickly, and everyone is super solicitous with all the water/coffee/tea offers. They do the back-and-forth to the manager thing, but plenty of dealerships play that game. They will also charge you for that VIN etching BS, and won't budge on it, but we were getting enough of a deal that I decided to let it go (also, most dealers in CT seem to pull that one). The day after I picked up the car I took it to my mechanic to have it inspected--I would highly recommend doing this, as then you can find problems while still within Center's 60-day warranty. My mechanic found a couple of small things and one big problem with the transmission. Center Subaru was great about scheduling me to have the issues fixed quickly, and gave me a loaner while they worked on the transmission problem. Ultimately, the transmission needed to be replaced, and they took it to Hyundai for me to have that done (car is still under Hyundai's warranty), which I deeply appreciate. Overall, I would highly recommend this dealership, as long as you're proactive about checking their used cars after you buy and do your research beforehand. They do seem to be a bit lacking in updating their web listings, or in listing the right features for their used stock, but the internet and carfax can solve those problems for you.

The Worst Dealer I dealt with

Refused to give an Internet quote when I indicated to them that I was a serious buyer. The salesman wanted me to drive to Conn from PA without a quote and implied I was disrespecting them and the process if I did not. Nonsense! I gave my business to an honest dealer who was willing to give me a reasonable quote via email.

Great Experience

My wife and I both bought Crosstreks within a day of each other. Joe was our salesman. He was fantastic. Very friendly and listened to what we wanted. He went above and beyond finding the vehicle with the options I wanted at another dealer and swapping the cars for me. Chuck in finance was great no surprises. They were great with us on our trade ins and price of new vehicles. This was the best experience we both had purchasing vehicles. We look forward to a long relationship with Center SUbaru. Joe has followed up with us a few times since the purchase the make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything. Also I had to take mine back to service for them to install some accessories and the service dept was great. Thank you

They don't give internet or phone quotes

Don't waste your time if you want a simple internet or phone quote. This dealer is not interested. They want you in the showroom so they can play the usual car dealer games. They indicate they will beat any price in the area if you come in. So I went in. They made me sit around and wait for 2 hours and I still could not get a quote from them. A few days later I gave them one last chance to beat my best internet offer, thinking maybe they didn't understand I was serious buyer and ready to buy. The salesman said he would call me right back after discussing with his manager. I never received a call back. That was enough to tell me what kind of dealership this was, so I bought the car from another dealer.

Great Service

Center Subaru service is great. I have had my car serviced there for the past eight years. They do what they say and deliver when they promise. The new modern facility is clean and the customer waiting area is comfortable. The people who I have dealt with are friendly and efficient. It is a great place!

bought used truck and very unhappy!

they dont return your calls they dont fix what was suppose to be fixed they lie to you and tell you what you want to hear just to get you to sign papers and then back step once you did. granted there new cars are nice and i bet there is no problems with them but i would never recomend buying a used car from them. i was told the truck had a safety check and then it was almost out of control when i test drove it... then the safety check could not be found.. i was told that wax would fix the fading on my door trim and it did not... then i was told that the new door trim (because the "special wax" didnt work) was in the shop, dropped off my truck to get it fixed and then 45 min later was called and asked if i could come down and point out which trim it was..(you said you have it and you dont know which trim??) then i was called to come pick up my truck and was told they ordered it... (so i wasted my whole sat driving back and fourth for NOTHING!!) now the sales guy that i delt with is back stepping and saying that he would have it fixed to dodge spec's even if that means that the problems i was told would be fixed 100% are still there... nice at first but after they got your money they dont give a crap now they are taking my truck to the auto maker to see if they can fix it (but the auto maker already deemed it "normal " because they cant fix it either on many other trucks . i feel like i got the wool pulled and kicked in the face, nice for my first newer car buying experience never again with them, and if they cant fix it there are going to be big problems.
