Schomp says you're on your own for rusting 2017 CR-V
2017 CR-V Touring starting to rust after half a winter. Chrome trim on tail gate, exhaust trim, and along bottom of doors ($1400 in parts) is noticeably corroding after the first 6 weeks of winter. Schomp and Honda America both say the observed corrosion is caused by magnesium chloride applied to the roads and is not the result of defective material performance because it's due to "outside and unforeseeable influences." They admitted that they've seen this corrosion on other Honda vehicles but continue to sell the product with these poorly designed parts. Honda knows that mag-chloride has been used since mid 1990s, so shouldn't they have designed parts that wouldn't corrode halfway through the first winter? In fact, some chrome parts (front grille) are not corroding yet and appear to be designed or treated differently. After owning Honda products for about 35 years I'm extremely dissatisfied with Schomp and Honda and will never buy a Honda again.
Why would I go anywhere else?
My latest service experience at Ralph Schomp Honda/Highlands Ranch was their signature "complete package." Jarred Chancellor was thorough, courteous, patient with my questions, and crystal clear about cost and the time the repair would take. Schomp's service team beat the time by 10 minutes. This is the service I've come to expect at Ralph Schomp. Why would I go anywhere else? Besides, I can relax, have a complimentary snack plus specialty coffee, and enjoy the beautiful lounge and showroom. A five star experience.
The Schomp Honda service team was awesome this past Monday AM. I started my Monday morning with a dead battery. The service team fit me in immediately and corrected the issue that caused the battery to fail quickly and efficiently. Thus, allowing my "Monday" to get back on track quickly. I couldnt be happier with the service and attention I received.

I fought it for a while but it's time.... Buying the 2010 Odyssey was a great experience. The staff was attentive to all of my questions and allowed me to put all of the carseats in to make sure they'd fit. I was impressed with the financing rate they got for us. Great job Ashley and Ricardo! I know this Odyssey will last forever, but when it's time to upgrade I'll be coming back!
An excellent buying experience from start to finish. The sales rep, Arthur, was courteous and knowledgeable. He was not high-pressure but still made me aware of all options available. His assistant, Matt, was also helpful and personable. The delivery tech, Bambi, went above and beyond to ensure that I understood all aspects of the car's operation. I could not have asked for a better buying experience. Top notch in every way.
Amazing Experience! Colby is awesome!
We had an amazing experience buying our car Saturday. Colby is very professional and a great representative for Ralph Schomp! Initially, I wasn't planning on buying car, but just looking at my options as my car is being bought back by VW. Colby was aware of that fact, and still took his time with me to show me all the bells and whistles on the car and allowing me to drive it to my husband to inspect. Needless to say, I fell in love with the car and we bought it that day!! I cannot recommend Ralph Schomp enough! I came into schomp to just look and had no intention on even having my credit ran, but my salesman seemed to know just what needed to be said in order for me to purchase. At no point was I ever pressured into anything I didn't need or care for! I'll definitely refer all my friends to go here. Great and friendly staff!
Honda Product Pro Bambi McAllister
Bambi McAllister came to our house and sat with us in the 2017 Pilot that we had just bought She spent 2 hours helping us set up and teaching us how to program and use all of the features on the car. My experience buying a 2016 Honda Odyssey EXL from Chad Walsh at Schomp Honda was excellent. The price was very good and the best price offered was given upfront. Such An Easy Process to Buy A Used Car
The last time we purchased a new car was ten years ago and boy has the buying experience improved a lot. We found the used car we wanted at Schompe Honda and when we called them we were connected to Ashley. She was wonderful through the whole process and it's nice you only have to deal with one sales person through the whole buying experience instead of seeing multiple people. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Schompe Honda and I will buy another car from them. Schompe Honda is a wonderful place to buy a car.
Love Schomp Service
I had a battery fail in my Honda Fit. As it was still under warranty, I headed to Schomp for the replacement. It was a busy Saturday but they got me in without a prior appointment. It's difficult to anticipate when your battery will go. They were very professional and even told me about a recall on my car's door handle. So I will be going back for that. Although having to service your car is not desirable, it is great to have a dealer like Schomp that makes it all easy.
Easy and Quick
Just wanted to take a moment to tell Kyle thanks for all of his help on Saturday. Although we jumped from inquiring about a brand new Pilot to a used one, his dedication to helping us find the right one never waivered and never steered us towards the more expensive vehicles. This was our fourth time purchasing from Schomp but this was our best experience by far. And even though there are closer Honda dealers like AutoNation (only a 10 minute drive from home) , Plant and Fischer, we will always purchase our Hondas from Schomp!
10,000 mile inspection,oil change and tire rotation
I have been a Ralph Schomp customer for 13 years. The service has always been superior and in the time promised. The explanations of the service are clear and precise. The new location is beautiful and provides all that you might need to relax, work remotely, recharge your devices or catch up on the latest news. Your wait seems to go by so quickly when you are made to feel comfortable. Nicole Seaver was delightful to work with, She kept me informed as each inspection was completed. Ask any question and you will get an informed answer!

Way too aggressive
After submitting a request for a quote, the salesman called me three times that evening and once the next morning. They called once or twice a day until the day of the test drive. Yet, when I showed up for the test drive, they didn't have the car I requested, and were very slow to provide a pricing quote. From the next day and for the next two weeks, they called me every day and sometimes twice a day. Guys, it's not like I'm going to forget that I'm buying a car -- you were just way too irritating and failed on the one thing that mattered (having the car I wanted, and related pricing, on the day I was actually buying!). I would not recommend and I'm sorry that they have my phone number now.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE buying a new car with a check and car assigned to me
JUST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, coming with a check and having the VIN assigned to me they still wanted my SSN. They forced me to get on their marketing lists or no car , i dealt with at least 9 people while i was there for 2.5 hours 1-i came with a cashier check with the VIN number and their name on the check. Friday the day before The sales manager Brian said he knows the bank. Saturday when i got there they wanted my social security number for a Honda Financials Applications. I almost left, and the sales people were laughing behind me. I had to log into my bank account and show them the loan with my bank 2-the sales person calculated "stuff" and the amount was 1 PENNY more than their purchase and sale agreement, so my cashier check was 1 penny short. And with a weird voice he said HE WILL PAY THE PENNY OUT OF HIS POCKET. They made the 1-penny mistake and i get this behavior 3-i triple asked if if comes with 2 keys and a valley. When they double checked they already lost one of the keys. So they made a 2nd key, Then when i got the car it had only 2 keys NO valley key andthe key they lost and made on the spot i later realized it does not work). When i wanted to BUY a 3rd key , the sales person said it is $45. Then when i got to the service department the guy said it is $80 and he will NOT charge me for his labor. He told me 4 times he will WORK FOR FREE for me 4-i was forced to sign some of the Schomp paperwork that i do not need their extra insurance, and extra warranty, and service, and tire rotation 5-i was forced to sign a piece of paper that i agree for them to give out my address to other companies and their marketing department. MORE IMPORTANT the piece of paper states i CANNOT UNSUBSCRIBE my address from receiving junk mail 6-a few days before i bought the car, one of the sales people started to YELL at me when i said he does not need my exact address to calculate the taxes, he just needs the city 7-they did not explain anything about the car 8-they did not even mention the Honda Roadside Assistance 9-i dealt with 4 people to get the purchase and sale bill before i went to my bank to get their check. When i got to the dealership i dealt with 3 sales people, their manager, the business manager, then an attendant, another sales person and a service person. EIGHT PEOPLE JUST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, coming with a check and having the VIN assigned to me
