Pleasantly surprised

My Subaru is 3 years old and was about due for its regularly scheduled service when dashboard service lights came on and I had trouble getting it to shift out of “Park”. I envisioned a big bill for service but was pleasantly surprised when the bill was significantly less than I expected due to factory warranty on the offending part. The service representative, Jen, was readily available to answer my questions and kept me informed of progress. Overall it was a positive experience.

We were very pleased with our visit to AutoNation. We had a great visit with Steve and felt he treated us like a friend. The service was great and though we forgot to tell him we had purchased a 48000mile/4yearservice plan, he researched it and after getting charged for service our plan covered, he got us a refund to correct the oversight on our part. We liked the fact that after our Subaru Outback was serviced, AutoNation also washed it. We plan to take our Outback to AutoNation in the future. Thank you Steve.

Great personnel, but poor technical service

My steering wheel has been off-center since there was 25 miles on the odometer. The vehicle has been in twice and returned to me in the exact condition after two alignment attempts. It is clear technicians are not driving the vehicles after alignment procedures. In 35 years of car ownership and services, I've never had a car returned without a final check. Centering steering wheels and alignment are trivial tasks, especially on a newer vehicle. I'm disappointed as the staff (sales included) are very courteous.

Sneaky and Untrustworthy

I was bringing my 2011 Subaru Outback for service at this dealership for 2 years. They knew the vehicle and its condition. I wanted to buy a new 2018 Subaru and I was given a quote for the car by eMail. This included a Subaru Guaranteed Trade in amount. I asked if this quote was valid several times an was told by 2 Sales Managers and the dealership General Manager that is was. When I arrived to complete the paperwork and purchase the 2018 Outback I was asked by one of the Sales Manager, Mr Howes, if I had read the fine print of the Guaranteed Trade In policy. I was then told that since the back fender had been pushed in, the policy was no longer in effect. And that the trade in value was to be $3,300 less than quoted several times. I asked him why this was not identified earlier in the process since the dealer had the VIN number of the vehicle and had serviced it just weeks before. Mr Howes stated to me that the Subaru Guaranteed Trade in, 'was just to get you in here'. That is why I found the sales process to be sneaky and untrustworthy.

Airbag recall / damaged item

I took my car in to do a passenger airbag recall. When I got my car after it was done had started to drive off period I noticed that the middle AC vent was damaged. On further looking at the damage noticed the dash itself was damaged. So I turn around and show the service writer what I saw. He took a pictures to show his service manager. Told me that you'll talk to service manager and see what they can do. It's been a week and two phone calls. Still no word of what's they are going to do starting to feel that they're avoiding me. So far of my experience is not the greatest and I will not recommend any customers to go to them.

This place is absolutely horrendous, it does not even deserve 1 star....my first time coming here the staff members were rude and when booking an appointment via mysubaru.com the person I spoke to starred at me as if I was lying about having an appointment midday. The second time I went I was greeted a lot more pleasantly however, I was not given a rental even though it has it on their site that they do....this did not bother me. Both occasions I had to call them to find out the status of my vehicle. The second time I spoke with a female receptionist who was very abrupt and was not willing to help, I felt like I was trying to draw water from a stone.... I decided to pick up my car which was never serviced.....Another person came and spoke to me and she was willing to give me a 12k service for free, fuel top up and they would wash my car also she mentioned a rental was available for me to take... I have a maintenance plan which entitle me to 6 free services so that did not help (I mentioned this and the response I received was "owww" ) "Car wash" now I felt my intelligence was being insulted, I thought complementary car washes were given (first time my car was never washed) Fuel top up well my car had a full tank of gas...... As for the rental, it just came down to the principle that my car was never serviced and I was the one doing all the follow ups. I will not be back.... I took my car the following day to Mike at Gold Rush, this guy's customer service is above par, it reminds me of BMW customer service, he did mentioned that he was busy and he will have it done late afternoon. I took my car in at 9:30 and it was ready by 1....and he called me and washed my car. I will be taking my car to Gold Rush in the future. This will be mentioned on Subaru survey on how atrocious Roseville service center is and how amazing Gold Rush has been especially calling him without an appointment and getting the car serviced and back to me in 3.5 hrs Keep up the good work Mike I will be back

Despite the long line of cars, I was able to drop off the car and get a ride to work in about 5 minutes. The car was ready when they said it would be; and the service rep walked me to my car and discussed the service. He was very professional and polite.

Originally i was satisfied with the purchase of my vehicle, but after a month of owning it I have found that the vehicle was in a front end collision of some sort and STUART lied about helping me to fix it because I just purchased it less then a month prior. On top of being lied to by STUART, when i went to pick my vehicle up the service department "misplaced" my keys. If I could go back I would not purchase from this terrible facility. Heres some pictures of the problems I found with my CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle. This dealership IS AWFUL and the sales management are [non-permissible content removed]. Purchased this vehicle drove it for a month found the steering wheel off to the right, thought ok maybe i hit a pothole no problem. Did an exterior check found the front bumper misaligned, and over spray tape in a few places, and paint chips coming off the front. Took it to this facility after Stuart said they would take care of it, and had set up a special "body shop" to take the vehicle to examine. They found no issue...... But replaced some broken bumper clips?!?! Didnt repaint the bumper, misplaced my keys and basically told me to [non-permissible content removed]...... Didn't even re-align the front end. Go somewhere else to buy a car, this dealership sucks!
