I bought my Rx through the internet sales dept. the managers personally handled my sale process and made the usual bad negotiation process wonderful. They were responsive, patient, friendly and helped me navigate a few issues (for example I wanted he most basic model that had to be found elsewhere). Strong recommendation.
ITS SERVICE THAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK TO LEXUS
I have been seeing Joey W in Service for years and he is just amazing at taking care of any issue, communicating back and being fair. I feel royalty when I leave. The overall service experience with any issue is what keeps us going back for another Lexus car. Highly recommend them. I am sure they are all great, however, I only speak from experience and would say Joey W is our go to.
Consistently Outstanding Service
This is my 4th lease with Newport Lexus. I know that when I go there, I will get the royal treatment, and that Gary Kalagian will find the exact car I want at a reasonable price. Gary is wonderful to work with. It's no wonder he's a popular and busy man. Fortunately, he has help from his colleague, Fabian Escobedo, who is courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He knows the Lexus brand extremely well, and I enjoyed the time we spent together on test drives and discussing options. Gary, Fabian, and Christian are all first-class guys to work with. Walking into the dealership was a breath of fresh air. The receptionist greeted me and I asked for my sales person Nasser and Shawn. Nasser came to help me and we chatted about the vehicle I was looking for and let me take a look. I had test drove it the day before and loved it. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything at that moment and wanted to think about it. Overall, I wanted a certain interior color and they found it for me the next day. I went it with my husband and we purchased the RX 350 Sport. I have nothing but great things to say about Nasser, Shawn, and Anita and everyone we encountered the two days we were there!!! I am grateful to now be a part of the Lexus family!!! A December to Remember for sure!!!!
I recently purchased my fourth car here but there is absolutely no recognition for repeat customers! They misrepresented the deal and then did not disclose that the perks of buying the car there had been discontinued. I have attempted to reach the GM twice by phone and in writing and he will not return my call! Total lack of professionalism.

Overall, my experience with Newport Lexus wasn't bad , but also it wasn't pleasure time when I are considering about the service I had compared to the money I spent. It was very inconvenient at the very first time. I arrived there at 6pm because my reservation for testing drives with the Newport Lexus was at 6pm. They couldn't find the car, like they even didn't know where the car was, it took an hour to find the vehicle. I believe that they weren't ready for me at all. When I bought the car at the same day, they said there are no problems except the stereo system, so they would fix it at the coming weekend which was Saturday. However, I found a crack on front bumper, which is pretty much shitty that they didnât really look up details. Anyway, I waited their call until the Saturday, but there were no call from them, so I called internet sale team on next Monday about the stereo and the crack, and they said the part (stereo) hasn't arrived yet. He made me have an appointment at 7:30 am on next Saturday. I had to wait another week for that. At the early next Saturday morning, I showed up (7:20am), because the internet sale team(the guy) told me to do that the reason was Saturday morning gets crazy busy, but even the place wasn't opened when I got there, so that I had to wait for an hour until 8 or something to talk with service Dept. Finally when I had a chance to talk with them about my appointment, they didn't even know any of my situations. And plus, the sales guy just didnât show up without following up and explanation; basically I went there without appointment and any of trust. So they took my car for next few days to fix it, (By the way, the guy said it would take top 2 hours). They did very good job at my car at least, the condition got as good as new one. Anyway, he promised me that he would fill up my gas tank because I make many trips to get the services from the Newport all the way out from where I live, but well guess what, he even didn't that job also. Additionally, I am not even surprised that how clumsy he is, he didnât give me 2nd vehicle remote control key. So that, I called him several times to discuss about the key. Whenever he answered my phone call, which is very RARE, because he is like no answer or out of desk or on vacation. He said he will call me back whenever he figures it out, but I havenât got a single call form him, and I am still waiting. I canât say he is the worst sales man at the Newport Lexus, because I havenât met all of them and I have met the worst one before. However regardless what I experienced with other dealers, he is not good at responding and problem solver. He wasnât ready for me, he didnât respond at any different ways regardless he is sick or whatsoever, he didnât set up any appointment for me, and he broke his promises. His name is Shawn at internet sales department.

My Lexus is from the Newport Beach location, bought new in 2007, and continues to perform beyond my expectations. Joey Wilchek is my service representative and provides top tier professional assistance and I am always treated well from the minute I drive into the delivery bay for service until I pick up my car when it is finished. This company emphasises excellence and because of that they have retained my loyalty. Thank You so very much.

Was presented with the option of turning in my 2016 RX350 under Lexus Payment Waiver Program. I worked exclusively with Curtis Lineberry. He was a pleasure to work with. He presented us with every option available, answered and re-answered every question. Took us around the full lot to view all options and colors. There were a few maintenance issues that we needed addressed and Curtis jumped on that and introduced me to Jason Johnson/Service Director, who was very accommodating of our requests. The closing process in the Financial Services area was quick and easy. No pressure to purchase needless add ons. After a few hours we drove off in our new 2018 RX350 with the package and color we desired. All in all a great experience.
Helpful, Professional Sales experience
Great experience with Vance. Called ahead and later walked in to test drive a used car and see different options. Low pressure, informative on the various cars and features, good listening by Vance of what our needs were. Returned the following day to purchase and was greeted with prepared paperwork, fairly quick process and efficient service. I will definitely go to Newport Lexus for future car buying needs - first rate operation.
recall and service appointment
I was very pleased with my recent visit to Newport Lexus to have a recall part replaced and a regular scheduled service . The work was done in the time that they said it would be and at the price quoted , I was given a loaner for the few hours I would be without a car and notified 45 minutes before my car was ready for pick up. I have been to other Lexus dealers and their service is not nearly as good, nor their people as professional or pleasant . That is way I drive the extra distance to go to Newport Lexus for service .

I was connected with Nasser via Edmunds. Nasser made the experience easy and effortless. We agreed on a price and it was set through email. It was honestly the easiest car purchase ever. Nasser spent time with me instructing me through the apps and specs of the NX. I would definitely return to Newport Lexus.
one of the worst sales experiences ever
Working with this dealership was one of the worst car buying experiences I've ever experienced. You'd think if you spend this much on a car, excellent service would come with it. But not here. They lied on the inspection sheet, seemed irritated by questions and even told me "we shouldn't have done this deal" when I asked about things they left out or didn't address. Very arrogant and not helpful AT ALL>
Sold me a smelly car
I went in to purchase a specific vehicle which was the RX 350 F sport. I was trading in my 2013 for a 2015 with less miles on it. I would of bought the new RX but don't like the body style. The car was in the detail shop for quite some time before we could drive it. Once I drove it for 5 minutes and decided it was exactly like my 2013 I agreed to purchase the car. I don't drive very often but after a few times driving this car I started to notice a moldy, mildewy smell (after the overpowering fragrance wore off). I contacted the dealer who suggested that I bring the car in and they will take the dash off and do a thorough cleaning of the car. I declined because I didn't want even more of a chemical/fragrance smell in the car. I believe the dealer knew about the smell. After I declined to have the "cleaning" the manager said they would buy the car back from me. I would lose 4,000.00. This was okay with me because at this point the car smell was making me sick. My throat would burn every time I got in the car and turned the air on. Anyway, after a few texts back and forth about when to bring the car in for my money back, they suddenly changed their minds about giving me my money back. Not sure why... BEWARE OF THIS DEALER. LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!!!
5,000 FIRST SERVICE CHECK
Our RX 350 does NOT allow us to open the back end like they say it should open, either with your hand or elbow. It also has a seal or gasket leak in the sunroof. They think it may go on recall but they can't fix it! Same with the opening of the back end. Also when you go in to have it washed OR they wash the car after a service, it is THE WORST JOB EVER!! They say they have corrected that issue however, my car was just serviced & it was appalling..
Rude Sales Lady
While waiting to test drive the IS200t, I had a repair rep walk around me like I was going to steal the car. OMG I literally am wearing medical attire. Then the Sales rep was super rude and offered terms then cancelled it later. She has such a bad attitude and makes you feel like crap inside if you are not rich. Excuse me, you are not Audi or Mercedes Benz. Please treat your customers with more respect.
We went to purchase an RX350. They gave us an excellent price but severely undercut us on the trade for a 2012 Cady SRX. We gave them the Edmunds.com trade in amount for the dealer which was arrived at by Edmunds after a detailed analysis of the SRX. Newport Lexus said that Edmunds was unreliable. When I mentioned that the dealer states in its recorded t/f message that Edmunds gives Newport Lexus a high rating, they shut down and would not even respond. They will accept Edmunds when it is to their advantage.They gave us a figure from Manheim , not Edmunds or Kelly and which is strictly wholesale. They gave us numerous trade "quotes" from states where the prices are lower due to rust, salt and cost of living. They handled this poorly. Newport Lexus was not always like this. Times change. Very disappointing.
Experience at Newport Lexus
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I went to pick up the car that was confirmed in email of day and time to be picked up. 20 minutes before I was to arrive, I got a call that they sold it and no apology. Just that they were having another car sent but it wouldn't be ready til the next day. They inconvenienced me and expected me to drop everything. I went to the dealership. Fred's answer to why did you sell it when you knew I was coming was "I have to sell 400 cars a month." I said "so my business isn't important?" His response -"ma'am, I have 400 cars to sell a month." Sales 101 - listen to the customer, let them vent and then try to make it right not argue with them and say absurd things like you have 400 cars to sell. I walked out and the GM responded to my email and voicemail but I realized I never got an I'm sorry for the way his management acted. I also have email to backup the communication around this sale. I'm embarrassed for them the way that this was handled and I have also contacted corporate Lexus. I was going to let this stay under the radar until my friend was contacted by Yelp that her review of what she witnessed while she was with me was removed because Newport Lexus didn't want the review there. Here is my review based on my experience. Take it for what it's worth but Fred was horrible in his actions and behaviors and did not treat me well. Had they taken responsibility - I wouldn't be posting this.
I just purchased my 3rd new RX from this dealership. Each time I am looking for a new car I look at other luxury cars, but always return to this five star dealership. Great cars and great service.
The best place to buy a Lexus!
My fiance' and I leased a beautiful ES350H from Abe on 07/18/15 and couldn't be happier. We had recently test drove the new C300 MB at a local dealership, and also visited another Lexus dealership before meeting Abe. We were just looking at the ES colors and not completely ready to commit. Abe was able to clearly and professionally explain the purchase vs lease decision-making process and put our minds at ease. Craig was extremely helpful, as well as everyone at Newport Lexus. Our new ES hybrid is beautiful, and Abe was a joy to work with. Walking into the dealership makes you feel amazing; but the treatment we received was exceptional. We will absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a luxury vehicle. It's the incredible service crew that maintains my car, but Joey leads at the front of it all and represents all that is great about Newport Lexus. I trust him and they've never steered me wrong. Sounds cliche, but Joey treats my car like if it's his, asking for service and ensuring high standard results. I'll never go anywhere else.
