Corvette C8 Purchase at Bob Stanley Chevrolet

Bob Stanley is our sales person. Bob is an extremely high integrity man. He is a major asset to any team and it was my honor to purchase my new C8 Corvette from him. Unfulfilling

I have been a loyal customer of Bob Stall Chevrolet since 2017 when I purchased my 2016 Chevy Impala from them since that time there’s been a few things here and there that happened regarding the vehicle but all were fixed with grace. When we purchased our vehicle from Bob Stall she had aprox. 31,000 miles on her. We purchased the extended warranty that Bob Stall offered as well for extra protection. Well recently something regarding the transmission happened and we just had to pay a little over 6K for a new one labor etc. however we honestly thought we still had a warranty that we purchased threw the dealership. However we didn’t since we were about 6k over the warranty miles No big deal right? We paid to have a new transmission installed. However this experience has definitely turned me away from Bob Stall. The communication during the process was subpar at best. Not to mention paying out of pocket for a rental car for almost a month when we were given a different timeframe when everything was agreed upon. I’ve referred countless other service members to Bob Stall however I don’t feel comfortable doing that anymore seeing as we purchased a vehicle from them that we personally only put aprox. 81k miles on and unfortunately I am just not comfortable referring individuals to a place that sells cars with a life span so short. I likely will not return to Bob Stall for any future work as this entire situation felt unfulfilling. My original appointment was to get an oil change and have my brakes inspected as they were making unsavory noises. However the transmission going out had my car in the care of Bob Stall a few days before that scheduled appointment. With that being said I reached out to my service advisor towards the end of the transmission install to remind them of what my original appointment was for, an oil change and my brakes. Well I got the car back transmission seems fine however the brakes were still extremely loud like nails on a chalkboard. So once again I have to take time out and make yet another appointment probably at another certified Chevy dealership to actually have my brakes assessed. They also stated that they rotated my tires during my oil change however upon inspection “because they are marked” my tires had not been rotated. It was just an overwhelming situation that left a bad taste in my mouth. I wish the business the best of luck but me and my family won’t be back.

Not the best service

Dropped my truck off for a check engine light on Tuesday morning. Told the advisor I needed my truck by Friday afternoon for work, depending on the extent of the repairs. I regularly called to check up on my vehicle, but they didn't even use the code reader until Thursday afternoon. I didn't get the call on what needs to be repaired until Thursday evening and then was told repairs should be done Friday before I need my truck for work. I then called Friday morning to make sure it was on schedule, but advisor needed to double check and call later. I wasn't called back until my wife was already driving me over to pick up the truck. When I arrived, I was told the brakes were still being worked on and it wouldn't be done on time. It is just frustrating that I dropped the car on Tuesday, and it took two days for the code reader to even be used on my truck. On top of that, the repairs started Thursday afternoon and only took a few hours. If they weren't over booking services and my repairs were started sometime Tuesday or early Wednesday it couldn't easily been done on time. This is the third time I have come in and the services have been over booked. Last time was a simple oil change and my advisor told me my time slot was triple booked due to app/website/phone systems not all working together. A simple oil change, I had to be taken home and had to pick up my vehicle the next day. Now that I know my extended warranty is up I probably will not come back to this dealership for any services.

Great Car Buying Experience

I was not planning on purchasing a new car, had many things going on in my life, and the ease and options provided to me by this dealer made this a great experience. I would recommend anybody to this dealer. I worked with Jon, there was no pressure, showed me my options, showed me a few choices, let me test drive a few cars, and encouraged me to look elsewhere to be sure I was would be satisfied! The experience between this dealer and others was night and day. Highly recommend purchasing your car here. What I also discovered was in this process that many Chevrolet cars have high ratings as far as "bang for the buck". This and Jon's ability to take what was a stressful situation and removed the stress from it led me back to Chevrolet.

Useless service department

The service department here is terrible. 2 times in a row now I have had problems. I purchased a new 2015 silverado here which will be the last vehicle i will ever purchase here. I made a appointment for my first oil change and I had a air leak in my door they were supposed to look at and fix. It was supposed to take an hour. After 2 hours I start asking and they tell me they need more time. after 3 hours I am told sorry but the person who wrote you up went to lunch and there was some confusion and a delay. I ended up wasting a half a day here for an oil change as they didnt fix my door leak. I took time off work to get this taken care of and it was a waste. So about a year later today I schedule my second oil change and a recall. It is supposed to take an hour. I get there and they tell me an hour and a half. After waiting for 2 hours I ask when my truck will be ready. I am told it has not been started yet and at least another hour. No one was even going to tell me there was a delay I could have been there all day if I didn't get up and ask. I left with no work done as I had to go back to work and will never return to this dealership for anything. This is 2 times in a row I have made an appointment taken time off of work and have gotten terrible service or no service.

Best place to buy or lease a car

I have driven over 2 hours from Victorville to the San Diego area for years whenever I need a car. 100% credit to Jenni Kendall and Tanya Charles. They make buying or leasing a new an awesome experience. The one day trip is well worth the overall long term reward. Best customer service treatment I have ever received EVER. Oil service, clay cleaning.

The quality of the work, friendly staff. The only issue that I had was a bit of a lack of communication on the status of the work being done. I had to call in most of the time and never really had a clear idea of when my car would be ready for pick up. I didn't mind them having it as long as they needed it, I would just like to have firm dates as to when it will be ready is all.

Excellent service from the internet sales department

Frank and My Volt

Frank was amazing. I have a Chevy Volt which seems to mystify most of the service representatives I have talked to. I posed the problem to Frank and Frank went and found the answer and got back to me in a timely manner. I don't expect people to know all of the answers, but I do like it if they don't know the answer they take the initiative to find out the answer for the customer. In addition to doing this, Frank was also very friendly and cordial. I would recommend Frank as a Service Advisor to any of my friends or family.

Easy, pleasant, efficient buying experience

Thorough demonstration of available models & features, extremely helpful and accommodating in arranging for spray-on bed liner prior to vehicle pickup, requiring only one visit to the dealership (this was imporatant as we are located over 100 miles away from the dealership). Very pleasant showroom. Good selection. Very quick & easy getting through the paperwork - simple explanations on what we needed to sign. Did not try to sell add-ons we did not need, but offered an attractive extended warranty plan that we did accept.

Great Saturday Service

So glad you have Saturday hours, I needed my tire fixed which had a screw between the treads. Got me in and out within an hour, we had to use this car to drive to LAX the next day or I would have had to rent one. Thanks again, you are always 100%!
