Comfortable car purchase

This was the fifth Toyota dealership I visited in the past month. It is the first one that didn't judge me by the clothes I wore or my looks. The staff is excellent to deal with and professional in every way. Mark was a gentleman and knows his product. You could not want a better person representing your dealership. Julia was great as well and Rosie is just delightful in handling all the paperwork. 10 stars all around to This dealership.

Oil changed & car washed

I dropped off my car, was driven back to my home, the car was done two hours ahead of the projected time, the shuttle came back and picked me up, and my car was ready to drive home with a fresh wash and oil change.

Sales manager Justin Barnett was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He explained our maintenance service and warranty coverage very well with patience. Also, waived the charge on the air filter communicating with the service department.

Mike B. and his team do a great job. He thoroughly examined the car because I had a concern about my brake light and he tightened everything up, topped off the brake fluid, and didn't charge me anything (I had had the brakes serviced several months ago). He even had my car washed for me. Really excellent, caring and honest service.

A Good Car Buying Experience

Buying a car is always hard, first you want the best possible deal, and you never know if you will get it.. Working with Mark and everyone at Bob Smith it was as good an experience as one can have.. I feel I got a fair deal and that I was always listened to... Buying a car is never enjoyable, but if you need to do so, this is the place!

service on 2007 Prius - replace rear struts

I've been a regular customer of Bob Smith Toyota Service Dept. for ten years. I've taken my car in for routine service every 5,000 miles, as suggested in the owner's manual. It was recommended by a technician that I replace my two rear shock struts, which I decided to do last week. Though I bear the responsibility for agreeing to this service, in retrospect I shouldn't have done so. The bill included an extraordinary charge for labor, apparently predesignated by Toyota. The service agent explained to me that this was an exceptionally difficult job, requiring half of the trunk area to be removed. He led me to believe that it would require a number of hours to complete. I left the car with the mechanic at 1:15 PM and was telephoned at 3:30, telling me it was complete. The work included a 5,000 mile service, the replacement of two air filters, and the installation of a rear wiper blade. It was obvious to me that the replacement of the struts had taken less than two hours to complete. The labor charge for this was $520.00. The total labor charges for two and a quarter hours of work came to $620.00. I simply can't rationalize such an inflated charge. I feel the dealer should have discounted these labor costs based on the amount of time spent. This wasn't offered. I intend to follow up with the service manager of the agency, to express my discontent.

Excellent Experience

Worried about my first lease, I walked into Bob Smith Toyota uncertain and concerned. Due to a hectic personal schedule, I was helped by two separate salesmen: Blake and Mark. Despite the obvious logistical issues with splitting a sale, they coordinating exceptionally and didn't drop the ball at any stage of the game. Both Blake and Mark followed up after our initial meeting and test drive. They took care to explain each step of the process, all assumptions made, and answered any questions I had completely to my satisfaction. After being helped by Blake and Mark throughout the entire process, we worked to find financing options that benefited all parties involved - and while the finance department and the salesman helping me were working together, other salesmen and people from the dealership came to talk to me and keep me company! Both Mark and Blake were overwhelmingly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and it's clear that the entire dealership really cares about one thing: providing the best possible experience for each individual walking through their double doors off Foothill Boulevard. I cannot see myself buying or leasing a car from any other dealership after this downright fantastic experience. Thanks so much, Bob Smith Toyota!

In every way, to every detail, this service department is incredible. The way they treat you on the phone, and handle your phone call, the way they greet you when you arrive, their ability to maintain a very efficient operation without compromising quality and customer service. Everyone here has real manners!! Most importantly, they are skilled, professional, and extremely competent, and have some of the very best mechanics of any Toyota dealership in the vicinity. I know, because I've tried many of them personally. If you are going to a dealership for service you'll be hard pressed to find a better service department than this place.

Straight Forward Deal

We leased a new Camry SE 2016 through Lisa Charles. She treated my family like we have known each other for years. I worked with her over the phone and email before making the trip to the dealership. I had issues with other dealers trying to mark everything up and just get me in the door to sell me something I did not want and wasn't looking for. A straight forward honest sales man

I recently purchase a 2015 Prius from Bob Smith Toyota. Jesse Barraza was the sales man that closed the deal for me. He owns a Prius himself and is very knowledgeable about the different models that they have. He will make you feel very relax and explain everything to you. He had me test drive the Prius-C and the Prius hatch back and then gave me a brochure to look at and he did not try and pressure me into buying any car right then. After I had figured out what type I wanted to purchase and what model I wanted, I then sent Jesse an e-mail and this dealership has a large inventory in stock and they had the car and the color I wanted. Jesse had sold a car to my girlfriend back in 2006 and was very nice to work with then. I bought the Prius hatch back # 3 model with the solar roof and sun roof and it has a back up camera and navigation and premium sound system. After driving my car the first week and putting 422 miles on it, I figured out my mileage and was getting 50.1 miles to the gallon. I am very happy with the purchase of my new Prius

Everything about Bob Smith Toyota Service Department is top notch. The facility is modern, clean, and well maintained. Service Advisors are knowledgeable and accommodating. Routine maintenance is done quickly, so owners can wait for their cars. Extensive repairs are carefully explained, and often descriptions of these procedures can be emailed to owners. Bob Smith Toyota provides transportation to home, work, or other reasonably nearby destinations, and drivers are dispatched to pick up customers when repairs are finished. This dealership's service department is exceptional because its employees treat women with respect and dignity and never talk down to them or recommend unnecessary work. I have had the same service advisor for 10 years, and I know I can count on his honesty and integrity. I trust him implicitly.

Great Experience with Prius

I must admit, I was nervous about buying a car because I am single and a woman of a certain age who had never bought a car without a male partner. I made an appointment over the internet and was greeted very pleasantly by my salesperson. I found a car that I wanted to buy and negotiated a good price. I was concerned that the brakes were acting up but my salesperson assured me they were fine. I mentioned it 3 times but he continued to tell me they were fine. I had a great meeting with Rosie and had no difficulty getting her on the phone a few days later. I drove the car off the lot a VERY happy person. Four days later, the brakes locked up. I returned the car immediately and was given a loaner vehicle. When I picked up the car a few days later, I asked to speak to Brian Lewey because a friend had had a very good experience with him. I told him that I felt my concerns had been ignored by sales and that I had put myself in a potentially dangerous position by driving the car when there clearly had been an issue with the brakes. I didn't expect much in return from Brian except the requisite, "I'll look into it. I am so sorry" type of response. Brian brought me out to my car and told me that he would like us to drive it together, taking turns. He assured me that he did not want me to have the car unless we both felt it was right. We then negotiated a way for the dealership to compensate me. AND trust me...I was WELL TAKEN CARE OF. I was flabbergasted at what he offered me in return for the stress and inconvenience that I went through. He went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectations that I had. He is truly a manager who puts his customers first. Also the service staff and the women who work the service desk were amazing. I drove to Bob Smith the day my car broke down angry and drove out a few days later in tremendous gratitude for the service and the attention I received and for the dealership's and Brian's willingness to do whatever had to be done to stand behind their product. I would highly encourage anyone who wants a great car (I am averaging 50-65 mpg!) AND also wants the service and attention that goes with an important and expensive purchase to RUN, DON'T WALK to Bob Smith Toyota.
