Terrible First Impression
First of all, as a new potential Chevrolet customer, it was fairly efficient exchanging emails with the sales consultant that I worked with. So I set an appointment with that person at Stewart Chevrolet to examine the car I've expressed interest in buying. On the day of the appointment, I approached a man asking for the person I had set an appointment with but was told that this person was out sick. First of all, I had not gotten an email saying she won't be in the office or to reschedule my appointment whatsoever. Second, on top of being "stood up", we were told that the car that we've expressed interest into was already sold over the weekend. Obviously, I was beyond horrified.
My "loaded" 2017 Volt, delivered July 13 '17, was not equipped as promised, absent the Adaptive Cruise Control that I specified from the moment I walked into their dealership. Despite repeated assurances that it was, indeed, included, it turned out, after nearly a week of experiments and searches, that it was not. Jonathan Bruyn, the Sales Manager, confirmed that yesterday (7/28/17), then proceeded to lie to me about everything else: I never made such a specification, no one at the dealership had heard of it, I wrecked "his" car (the very one I am driving, without a scratch on it), that Mike had gone over the car with me line-by-line (totally false), and on it goes. Sad, even pathetic story, as everything else about this car is fine - they just refused to correct their mistake. Bottom line: go somewhere else, don't have business with these people.
So pleased with the service, even given a Cadillac for a rental. So glad they informed me about the recall, I didn't know about it. Thank you again. Rose Reyna
Well, it was a bit confusing. I scheduled my service appointment on line for an oil change and 27 point safety check using the coupon for $39.95. I also asked the service department to change out my cabin air filter for which I had the part and also to sync my iphone. I then called the service dept to double check my appointment time and was told it was first come first serve??? So I arrived at 8:45 am and waited until 9:15 am for the service writer. I was told it would be $90.00 to change the cabin filter and about the same to sync my iphone???????? So I told them no and just do the oil change and safety check. I was told by Will that it would be $59.95 for the service. I explained to him that on line I used the coupon for $39.95, he asked me for a copy of the coupon which I did not have but he did only charge me the coupon rate. This was all very unsettling since I was prepared for a smooth transaction. I asked him about how long it would take - the answer give to me was that if I was waiting for the car it would be done at 11:00 am but if I was not waiting it would be 1:00 pm????? The car was ready at 1:00pm and off I went. Just wanted you to know what transpired.
I arrived on time for servicing my Volt I decided to wait for the suggested 90 minutes time for the service. My car was ready to be picked up exactly at the time it was promised. Thanks for the fast and terrific workmanship. Vilmos Zsigmond
Thank You Stewart
Stewart Cadillac and specifically Mr. Art S, restored my faith in GM. I purchased my car at another dealer and my negative experiences with each and every department of that dealer left me not liking my $70K car. When I found Stewart and Mr. S. both my vehicle and I were taken care of in a manner one would expect from Cadillac.
Everything was done very professionally. Quite satisfied. Sales process a lot easier than I expected. Would definitely choose this salesman and dealership again.
