Tried to take advantage of widow
My Dad purchased a vehicle here only three months before he passed away and when I took it in to be appraised for sale, they unapologetically offered an offensively low amount that was half of what my father had paid only a few months earlier and $5k below Kelley Blue Book dealer value which three other dealerships had already offered me. They would have pocketed $13k for effectively loaning my Dad the truck for a few months and then another $10k off the next customer to buy it. It was painfully obvious they were trying to take advantage of two grieving women they assumed had not done their homework.
I went to various dealerships and test drove several different suvs. Jerry Damson Honda and Jerry Damson Nissan were both extremely helpful and professional. I was trying to decide on the crv or the rogue and they answered so many questions graciously. No high pressure tactics, just honest, fair experience. Actually, they are the only one that both offered me a fair trade in and a good price. I never felt like I was being lied to or given "the treatment" like I felt at other dealerships. I drove over 70 miles just to purchase from them because I trusted them. They should teach dealership classes to other dealerships who could learn a few things about what really attracts a buyer.
