Horrible Customer Service
Purchased a vehicle August 7 dealership did not send information (tag and selling info so I could get my tag) to the DMV until 60 days later so I was not able to drive my vehicle for 30 days. Because I could not get my tag because they would not send the information to the DMV. Horrible customer service would not replace the missing headlight bulb when I purchased the vehicle. Called several times to get information sent over to DMV left messages numerous amount of times nobody would call me back. Beware of this dealership did under the table deal thats why they did not have the title on hand and couldnt produce it within the 30 days of allotted time they are allowed. Sales manager signed me up for platinum warranty was not told they were different levels of Warranty signed me up for the most expensive warranty without my knowledge did not go over the differences between the warranties did not tell me how the warranty worked. Also pulled my credit with out my knowledge when I was already pre approved by my credit union. Just an all-around bad experience!
Bait and Switch - Stay away!
Typical bait and switch tactics - "Sorry, but the car was sold last night". I had setup an appointment to check out the vehicle, received email confirmation, also received an email on the day of the visit confirming my appointment to which I replied with a confirmation - but when I show up, the car was already "sold" - and they didn't even bother to let me know. There was good initial communication and follow-up by phone and email - but looking back, that was just to lure me in. Beware - you have been warned. Stay away from this business!
Do not buy from this dealership!
Worst experience ever! They will lie to you and then give you a run around when you call them out on it. Rude customer service from the beginning. If they tell you they will do something don't believe it because they won't.
the wrong diagnostics of my dodge journey
I took my journey to university dodge of anniston alabama because my 2010 journey was pulling to the right . Their service technician said I had a tire wear causing my journey to pull to the right with no miss ailiment or no worn steering linkages parts . I knew this was a false statement because I grew up in family run service station. The business belonging to my dad. I asked the service manager to recheck my journey and he refused. I then ask for the car lot manager for a recheck but the car lot manager agreed with his service manager and there was no recheck of my journey. I took my journey home and rechecked the tires for myself to make sure that my journey was safe for me amd my family and this is what I found . The first misstake I found was that the lug nuts where torqued to 175 foot pounds (factory setting is 105ft/lbs) on aluminun rims. The second misstake I found was that the tire wear problem was a tire defect problem with a knot on the outside of the tire with in the last two threads of the tire and about 12 inches long . This dealership allowed me to drive off in my dodge journey believing I had a tire wear problem with no reasonable explanation for the tire wear but the problem was that the tire was coming apart leaving me and my family driving an unsafe dodge journey. The over torque on the lug nuts is also an unsafe condition . when over torquing lug nuts you stress fracture the studs and the rims leaving the studs or the rims to failure while driving . Does anyone know where I can have my warranty work done on my 2010 dodge journy with a peace of mind knowing that the work is right and that my family will be safe with the work preform on my journy ?
