F150 bought used and was very happy.

by chuckf150 on 11/20/2017

I'm from Beaverton and had been looking on the local Ford web pages for a couple of weeks. I had a 1997 F250 460 V8 to trade. I checked Kelly BB and off to see Vancouver Ford because they had the model, F150 XLT, and year, 2014, I was looking for. Pulled into the lot and met Nick. Found the truck and went on a test drive. I was everything I had expected and more. Very clean and almost looked new. We went in to do the paperwork and they came up with the trade-in and price that I could afford. I felt that I got a great deal! The only fault was that the paperwork took a bit longer than expected. Only one person available to do it. and there were a couple ahead of me. (Thursday). Thanks Nick, Steve and one other (sorry I forgot his name). I had a very good experience. THANKS chuck

Recall Service

by gwhite68 on 02/17/2018

Took my Elantra in due to a recall issue. They took care of that and also performed a complete maintenance check & washed my car! All within about an hour and no charge, as promised.

Great Friendly Service

by gedenfield on 09/01/2017

I took my Ford Fusion in for scheduled maintenance and Kelly was very helpful and friendly. He explained that even though I had gotten an email about needing an oil change that my car didn't need one just yet. He easily could have done the oil change and charged me for it but he took the time to explain why it made sense to wait. He was really helpful. He also helped me to get my window fixed by running a software update. And he had my car washed! All this got done in less than an hour without an appointment. I will certainly go back.

Very dissatisfied - Rating 1 star only because it makes you rate them!!!

by Hopperwolfe on 08/17/2017

I made an appointment to have my car looked at because the engine light was on. I had only had my truck for less than a month. When I came in they had me sign a form for roughly $230 dollars which I thought it was the cost to fix it if my warranty did not cover it. When I was called by Darrell (I think that's his name) he told me that it was not covered and I would need to pay more than $500 to fix it. I got frustrated and came to pick up my car because it was an emissions thing and I could not afford that kind of money. He ended up charging me $236 just to look at it????? What happened to a free estimate before you gauge someone? I don't just have $500 much less $230 to fix something I have had less than a month. I bought the truck in Hillsboro but I live in vancouver so for convenience (and referral) I brought it to you guys to look at. After I picked it up I called where I bought it from and decided to drive the hour and a half out there to drop it off. They gave me a free estimate and dealt with my warranty company and guess what.......it was covered. I didn't owe them anything except forfixing the rattle In the dash and they charged me for the cost of the part only! So I am pissed that I spent $236 at your service department and that the gentlemen was very rude to me when I came to pick it up because I wasn't having the work done. I basically spent $236 for 2 hours of nothing being done! I don't believe they even called my warranty company! I WILL NEVER COME BACK AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THE SAME! The person. Who recommended me was very shocked I was treated this way and that I was charged for the estimate because he said he had never been charged for an estimate. I deserve my $236 back as I feel I was not dealt with fairly.

Great Sales Experience!!!

by Proscoe on 08/10/2017

I worked with Justus and Andy on the purchase of a vehicle at Vancouver Ford and was extremely happy with both of them. They worked hard to win my business and I would say that this was probably the best car buying experience I have had. I would highly recommend them!

Great Experience

by JPVancouver on 08/10/2017

I've visited the service department at Vancouver Hyundai on numerous occasions for routine service intervals on 3 different vehicles; 2 different Hyundai Azeras and now my Genesis. I've found personnel in the service department to be friendly and helpful on all visits. I've only had two issues with my Hyundai vehicles in the 11 years I've dealt with this establishment. The issues were resolved under warranty both quickly and professionally. In my mind Hyundai manufacturers some of the best vehicles on the market and Vancouver Hyundai is one of the best dealerships in this area. Thank You!

Purchase of a Ford Edge

by kkarukes on 08/10/2017

My husband and I were lucky to have Seve as our salesperson. He was attentive to what we were looking for in purchasing a vehicle. We test drove several vehicles and Seve was very knowledgeable about the vehicles capabilities. He was able to answer the many questions we had. Although this process was quite lengthy, due to Seve making sure we got exactly what we wanted, he made our buying experience a very positive one!! The team that worked with him to finalize the purchase also made this a great experience and we are very happy with our new car!! Thank you!!

Our purchase experience.

by PetenJeanne on 08/10/2017

We had done our part by narrowing down what our parameters were. We knew what we wanted, what similar vehicles were being sold for, and what our trade was worth. We had an association with Mike, a manager, but his involvement was only to greet us and introduce us to Jim, a sales manager. Jim got us a salesman, Milo, who did most of the work. To make a long story short, they showed us the vehicle we had seen advertised, showed us what else they had that might work, and in the end sold us the one we had seen, at a fair price, and gave us a fair credit for our trade. Our experience with finance was good, and we had a couple of follow up requests, that were handled by James another sales manager, and another finance manager. Everyone on the team worked seamlessly to get what was committed and make our experience a pleasure.

Don't get ripped off

by msmith18 on 06/30/2016

When buying a new car from Vancouver Ford. make sure you have in writing that if you have several problems with your new car you can trade it for another new car with no problems with it. Make sure they pay tax's and license so you don't pay twice. Have Vancouver Ford pay the full amount of your problem car so you don't have to pay the "used car " price and have it added to your new loan. Vancouver Ford sales will be nice up to the purchase of your new car but can care less when having nothing but problems with your new car. I have several friends including me that have been burned on this and decided to write a review to warn others.

Be d t of the best

by HeartMyMini on 11/30/2015

Disregard anything negative you may have read; you'll never find a car dealer - of any brand - that offers more personalized customer service, then follows it with superior finance, repair and continuing communications. You can feel confident that your needs are met, and then some. The sales team is knowledgeable, helpful, and never pushy - I felt right at home, which is saying a ton, given my past experiences at car dealerships. If you need a car, definitely go see Vancouver Ford. (By the way, I bought a used car, not even a Ford, and they still treated me like I was the most important customer they ever had!)

Aubrey found me exactly the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, listened rather than pushed, treated me with friendship and respect. The process was quick and pleasant, and left me satisfied by getting me the ideal car for me.

Confusing.

by knepperb on 10/03/2014

I'm torn on this review... the customer service was pretty good, but the process went horribly awry. I wasn't even considering Ford as an option, but was browsing local dealers and saw a 2015 Fusion on sale for $17715. WOW - I had to see this car! I drove to the dealership and asked for a test drive. Aubrey was my sales person. She was funny, nice, knowledgeable, and NORMAL. We had a great drive, but it was day one of my search, so I had to go home and think. I text her that night with questions, and she got back to me right away. The following morning, my intention was to go sign papers on that car. The stupid move on their part was trying to upsell me into a car $15000 above my budget. Of course I fell in love, and wasn't able to commit to the lesser model anymore. They gave a little push to talk numbers, so I was curious. Unfortunately, the posted internet price was all the sudden a 'glitch' in the system, but they were going to honor it with conditions. The sale went sour. They offered me a laughable amount on my trade to offset their loss, and they were strongly pressuring me into Ford Financing at more than double the interest of my bank loan. In the end, I walked away upset, confused, and without a car. The other frustrating part was they had a limited amount of Fusions, and were resistant to dealer trades to find me what I wanted. The following day, I received phone calls from what I'm assuming are higher ups at Vancouver Ford apologizing for the poor experience. They fixed their 'glitch'. I ended up purchasing a better Ford Fusion at another dealership with absolutely ZERO hassle. They even did a dealer trade for me. Vancouver Ford lost my business and any recommendations because of this experience.

Mixed bag... Good service experience, poor warranty experience

by lrc3395 on 09/04/2014

Vancouver Ford has been good every time I needed regular service on my vehicle, but they have been difficult to deal with for warranty issues. I have had only one issue with the vehicle I purchased new from Vancouver Ford. There is a rattle in the headliner just above the driver seat. I brought it in repeatedly for this problem and got the run around every time. The service advisor told me there was a known issue with the glue in the headliner coming loose, but every time I brought the car in for the issue they always said they couldn't reproduce the noise. This continued until the bumper to bumper warranty had expired.

I purchased a new car from Vancouver Ford in 2013. I was not unhappy with the price I paid for the car and love the vehicle, but one of teh deciding factors in chosing the car I did was that the sales person told me in included certain features. After I purchased it I discovered it did not actually have those features. I discussed it with them and they made it clear that they were not interested in making it right. Really, it's my own fault for not looking at everything closer, but I was told numerous times that the features I wanted were on the car.
