I love Dick Hannah Kia~ I have never felt so comfortable buying a new car. About a year ago I traded in a Blue Soul Plus and upgraded to a turbo and then a couple of days ago I got something in the mail about a upgrade. I didn't think they could make it happen. They asked me what I would like in a upgrade if I could get an upgrade I told them a 2018 Turbo that was loaded. So they said guess what we have a 2018 Turbo the same color (Bright Silver) that had ALL the options.. (Sunroof, Nav, Karmon Stero System ect.) All the bells and whistles. I was really excited but didn't want to get my hopes up.. And guess what their Management team made it happen.. So now I have the Soul Turbo that I have always wanted.. It was a very smooth process and they treated me like family.. Both Souls that i have bought they have treated me like family.. I like to give a shout out to this Awesome Team and say "Thank You!" Rachel Smith the General Manager, Del Graven General Sales Manager, Mike Menzie Sales Manager, Brian Johnson (BJ) sales and Bob Shearer who went through all my finance paperwork. Also there Service team is Awesome as well.. Devin Henry Service Dept Manager, Cassie... Before Dick Hannah Kia I and a friend of mind had a very,very, bad experience with another Kia Dealership on Broadway ( I won't mention the name lol) But I am so serious if you are looking to purchase a new Kia go to Dick Hannah Kia they don't only beilive in nice. They Treat you like family... I know this is a long review but again I can't rave enough about them.. Working with Bob Snyder is the most comfortable experience when buying my car. When he called and asked if I would like to look at upgrading my Kia Soul and lowering my interest, i said sure but didnt really believe it. When I got there he had a red 2018 Kia Soul for me to test drive. I have always wanted a red Soul and for Bob to pick red was just awesome. Sure enough between him and Bob in finance, they got me a great deal. Lowered my interest and car payment. This is my 3rd Soul and am simply thrilled with my new ride. This was our first experience with Dick Hannah Kia. Our salesperson, Matt Favre, was exceptional. He "read us" perfectly, and shared his extensive knowledge about the features of our car at just the right pace. He never lost us, our eyes never glazed over, but by the time we were ready to buy, we knew all about our vehicle and felt comfortable about making the choice to buy Kia. Matt actually went down to another dealership and picked up a car that we wanted to test drive. We still liked the Kia better. The finance guy came back with an offer we couldn't refuse - how often does that happen?! All in all, a very rewarding experience. We will be back for our next car.
I have dealt with Dick Hannah Kia Of Vancouver on 2 separate occasions, specifically Service manager Devin Henry, and in both times they have managed to show their complete inability to service and assist their clientele. My first experience with Dick Hannah Kia Of Vancouver they managed to lose my keys only to accuse me of taking them with me, Shortly after I talked to a manager they were somehow found in less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately, due to the delay the car would not be ready when it was suppose to and I was forced to pay for a rental car for an additional day. The following day Dick Hannah Kia Of Vancouver informed me the ignition had been re keyed and the keys would not work both the door and the ignition. They had to be reordered and would delivered in 2 weeks. 13 months later I have yet to receive my keys or reimbursement for my rental car. After the 4th or 5th time of telling Devin Henry the same story I chalked it up to a loss and moved on.
Recently my air bag light came on, and with a road trip coming up, I thought it was a good time to service the Sorrento prior to the trip. I took the car in at 11:15am with the goal to have the sensor scanned, reset and fixed if needed. I was told the regular service would be needed and they would contact me if they discovered any other work was necessary. Several hours later I was called and told there was additional work needed and was told the car could be picked up the next day. The next day not being an option for me, I asked if the car could be picked up at 6:00pm, (closing of service). I was told 6pm would not work, but if I was able to get the car at 5:45pm (15 minutes earlier) it would be done.
When I arrived at 5:45 the car was still on the lift and continued to be worked on until 6:15. Clearly they did not want to stay until the posted hours of business. Once paid for I pulled onto the highway only to look down and see the air bag light was still on. The whole point, $900 later, was to get the air bag fixed which they failed to do! I turned, and 5 minutes later when I pulled back into the service lot everyone from the service team was gone. I was told I would need to come back the next day.
Having been in the service industry for some time I can say with total confidence there are multiple things wrong with how Dick Hannah Kia Of Vancouver does business. Not only is there a complete lack of follow-up by any of the employees, but when the customer has to follow up on their own, or make multiple attempts to get information, they get defensive and accuse the customer of being too demanding. Another issue that is apparent, is a massive bottle neck in the information chain. For some reason only the agent who checked you in can assist you. If they are gone nobody else can tell you anything about your car until that original check-in agent is back.
It has been way too difficult to get what I consider normal, relatively simple service for our car here. Going forward I will be taking my car to Ron Tonkin Kia in Gladstone even if it involves an additional hour drive. In the end, the service team of Dick Hannah Kia Of Vancouver is either incapable or incompetent neither of which are good.

We came in to possibly trade are Serento in and buying are 6th Kia knowing how pushy sales people are we were skeptical ! After meeting Raymond and spending a few minutes with him we felt comfortable he has a great sense of humor and made buying are 6th Kia fun !! Leased a Sportage yesterday from Dick Hannah Kia. This is our second experience with Dick Hannah. We had purchased a 2014 Kia Soul with them back in October of 2013. The performance of our Soul along with the 10 year warranty brought us back to the Kia brand. Our first purchase experience along with a very good service center brought us back to Dick Hannah. They gave us a feeling of trust throughout the experience. Our salesman Bob Snyder , hustled to bring up every car we were interested in to the front of the lot, and strongly encouraged us to test drive each one. He and the sales manager Del made certain we did not have to walk to any models that we were interested in seeing. Both men were very personable and shared facts about their vehicle purchases and leases that made us feel comfortable with our decisions. They also asked about our family and shared facts about their past and families which established a trustworthiness. The new Sportage we purchased was a beautiful copper color with a Porsche like look to it. Throughout the last year, we rented several similar models like the Subaru Forester, Fiat 500, and Jeep Renegade for comparison. The Sportage stood out above the rest because of its smooth acceleration, quiet ride, and nice body styling, and of course the premium warranty. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Dick Hannah dealership. Not only are they there for you at every step of the process, the company itself is active in the community through charitable giving and car donations.
I have had 46 cars in my lifetime, but this purchase experience was the best. The salesman Bob Snyder was helpful, optimistic and low keyed. I never felt 'pushed'. I had the impression that everyone involved from Bob, Barry the finance guy to the manager himself were doing the best to meet my requirements.
I went to the dealership to look at a used car in my price range. Thanks to Bob I was able to find a great new car complete with all the warranties from the factory and still be in my price range, instead of a used one. I didn't go there looking to buy a new car and wouldn't have thought to do it since I've only ever owned used cars, but Mr.Snyder was very humble and helped me find something that would even better suit my needs than what I had in mind.

Little late posting, but better late than never...I bought a car from here in July, and dealt with 3 difference sales people and was really pleased with their service. I had been to multiple other dealers where I was treated rather poorly and even ignored completely. Never was I ignored or treated poorly, once they found out my dad and I were shopping for me, they addressed ME and were respectful toward me and made my first buying experience a real pleasant experience. I would highly recommend any young, first time buyer to go here because they were the only dealership that I got any ounce of respect from. Our first salesman was Curt, second was Lucas Davidson, whom I bought my car from, and third was Troy in the finance department.
Bob Snyder was really helpful and very nice to work with. He has a very easy go with the flow manner that fit perfectly with my personality. I was very happy with the whole experience of buying my first new (not used) car!
I have less than perfect credit, so was hesitant to go car shopping. I did some online comparisons and found Dick Hannah Kia to have a great selection. I applied for financing online late Wednesday night. Thursday morning I received a call from Curt T of DHK. He had a few questions: What kind of car was I looking for? How much was I looking to spend? What was I comfortable spending on a car payment? Etc.
I answered all of those questions. Curt called me back within hours and had a couple of possibilities. He needed some additional income verification for my 2nd job. I supplied that to him Thursday after work. I work triple shifts, Curt was able to adjust to my schedule.
Friday he called and let me now that we had a lender lined up for the vehicle that I wanted at the price I was looking for within the payment range that I had specified.
Saturday I test drove it. Loved it. Curt was knowledgeable about the vehicle. Educated me about some of the tech options and ensured that my interactions with others at the dealership were smooth. I met with DHKs in house insurance lady Kimberly. Although I decided to stick with my insurance company, our time together was pleasant and we shared some laughs. She was very professional. When it came time to sign the contracts, Troy was informative and knowledgeable taking the time to explain each page.
The auto sales industry often gets a bad rap. In the past there may have been good reason for that. I, myself have a story or two. Once I rented this car I knew I wanted one. My current car was 24 years old and had served our family well.
