First Time Truck buyer

I moved from Florida recently and only had a 2wd Chevy Trailblazer. It served well for almost 12 years. However, once I moved here to Washington, my new home is at the end of a gravel road on a small mountain, 8 acres, heavily wooded..I was snowbound for 3 months this past Winter..My garbage cans are two miles down the road. So I needed a 4wd truck so I can haul trash, thin out my woods for fire wood and haul it back home, and not get stuck in the Winter. I just dropped by to look when Gus came out to help..We looked at some new 150 models then at this nice formerly leased one. It almost had all I needed, was less expensive then the brand new ones..Pretty blue, crew cab, only 15k mileage..I bought it and was able to order the extras that I needed: Canopy, liner, navigation, running boards, and mudflaps..Once its all in, they'll give me a loaner car while they put it all on for me. The owner of Columbia Ford took my Trailblazer for a ride.. Came back and shook my hand for taking such good care of it..So it was a good trade-in. I also got a Veterans discount. The financial gal was very proficient and nice. As was the parts gal Jennifer, who finished my extras order even when someone had come up to her and said that someone important needed to talk with her...To Jennifer, I was just as important as any other customer...not just an old retired lady who can wait forever..I think she needs a bonus or increase in pay..she juggles a lot of work, keeps priorities, and lets her current customer she's waiting on feel just as important as the next. I also like the small town, down home feel when you first come in..even tho they are constantly busy. Vancouver dealerships are very hectic.

This is the second time I have bought from Columbia. The second car from Steve Hulst he very helpful low pressure allows time fir a person to make up their own mind and gives one all the info they need. I worked with Jennifer Castle on the financing and even tho I gave her some extra challenges she was very attentive, patient and thorough. Enjoyed my experience with everyone.

My husband was very impressed with the service he received when we brought the Truck in for an oil change. When we take my car to Bud Clary it can take anywhere from 2 to 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and he was in and out in 45 minutes. Which is a good thing as he is not a very patient person!

Much improved from my first experiences at Columbia. Effective follow up and briefing with the customer when the service is finished. Female Service Agent on my initial contact on 3/31 needs to be much more engaged and professional and attuned to the fact that she is dealing with CUSTOMERS.

I was helped almost as immediate as walking in the door. I didn't even have an appointment. I thought I would have to make an appointment for another day and I was already over due for my oil change. The service dept. got me taken care of in short time; went over all the findings and told me what I would need done next oil change and what to expect for that bill too. I am so pleased with my purchase at Columbia Ford and the customer service you receive is just a treat in comparison to walking into another car dealer!!

When entering the business the receptionist didn't act like she wanted to be there. Sometimes we have a bad day, so I let it go. When picking up my vehicle, I felt ignored. Like I didn't matter anymore. I would have liked to have the repairs explained to me at the car. After spending $973, I felt like my experience was awful. If it wasn't for it being a airbag light, I would have taken it to a regular repair shop that I trust and probably would have saved $200 and be sure it's definitely done correct.

Columbia Ford has done the oil changes on my 2013 Explorer for awhile now.. They are great friendly and helpful. I just had to have a couple other things done nothing major just due for an injector clean and filter.. Price wasn't to bad for those and my oil change.

Unfortunately you no longer have a Nissan dealership so I won't be using g your services much however I am able to still get my free oil changes at your facility which I am very grateful for. Your service people are very helpful and friendly and your waiting room is great. Thank you for the good service I have received.
