Disappointed with Service
Just moved in area and made appointment for service. After my 45 minute drive to dealership, they didn’t have it documented that I needed a loaner car. I ended up having to drive 45 minutes back to work. I asked the service advisor to call when he could set up next appointment adding an interior/exterior detail. One week passed and I never received a call. I called the dealership back and got a different advisor who told me it would be another two weeks before he could get me in. The following weekend, I went to a other dealer and traded my Range Rover in for another brand. It costs too much time and energy to get a simple service completed.
Overall the dealership was great. We have been going there for a couple years for service. And our new car buying experience started there. Denise helped us when we came in for service. Upon discovering our interest in new vehicles she walk us over to the showroom to discuss different models based on her experience as a service manager which is valuable insight from a technical point of view. She went out of her way and took considerable time with my wife and I. Hunter and Mike from the sales department then got involved and were clearly there to help with test drives and more information. No pressure, just interest in helping us. We left the dealership with a written trade agreement. Not easy to decide, we returned 2 times before purchasing and test driving again. Very accommodating and helpful and professional. After we decided to buy, Hunter was extremely expedient and professional outlining everything required to bring in. Nothing was missed. He received almost everything in advance and this made the entire check out seamless. Their finance dept was outstanding and helpful. Great group of folks, highly recommend buying from Land Rover Virginia Beach!
Service Manager says too bad
Took our new evoque in for an oil change and inspection at 8:00 am. Told it takes two days to do an oil change and too bad if we don't like it. They flat bed your Land Rover over to Driver's World to work on it without letting you know. IT takes many phone calls to get a service appointment confirmed because they want the customer to be the go bewteen all the departments. Takes too long to drop your vehicle off. Our spotless evoque came back with the service mats still in it, a candy wrapper in it and not clean. Don't buy and Auid, a Jag, or a Land Rover in the Virginia Beach area or you will be stuck here.
