Where do I begin. Found a used vehicle here online. I live 5 hours away from the dealership. I talked with the sale rep placed a hold payment on the vehicle during the week and agreed to drive in that weekend to get the car, with the understanding that it was what was represented. 3 hours into my 5 hour drive there to get the vehicle the sales rep calls me and tells me that they have found that the AC blower motor isn’t functioning properly, that they will replace it but the part hasn’t to be ordered and can be completed till the following week. I agreed to go ahead and continue my trip there to look at it and check it out knowing the AC issue. We get there after to purchase the vehicle and they would repair the AC and meet me half way with the vehicle upon completion. The following week we meet take the car. On our way back home we notice the AC is still not functioning properly. I call the sales rep and told him it was still not working and he said he would check with his people and call me back. Never heard a word from them. I checked it out and found it was not the blower motor it was the electric fan for the AC condenser. I ordered the part and fixed it my self. Now we get to the real problem. Their vehicle was purchased 4 months ago (today is 12-15-17). I still haven’t received the registration. I have called and called them. The only answer i have gotten is “we are having a hard time getting the title from the previous owner”. First off should they have sold me the car without having the title from the previous owner to begin with? I wouldn’t think so. So here we are 4 months later still no registration. I called agin today was transferred to 3 different people, the last one going to a voicemail box. So again, no answer. I can’t believe I drove 5 hours away passing by countless dealerships that i could have done business with to get the run around from this one.
So disappointed and upset
So disappointed at this dealership that it makes me sad. As a woman I went in there trusting they were honest people and wouldn't rip me off. I traded my for runner in great conditions for a Jeep Cherokee they promised me everything was fine that it had all the maintanace was in order. I agreed to sign a as is sale trusting they had really done their part. I drive the car and less than 2 weeks the car died took it to get it checked they should me the battery and someone had put a smaller battery than what it was suppose to have causing it to jerk around lost And disconnect and it had to be replaced. 2 weeks later the car started having an awful sound lights of Maintance went on and the brakes almost failed me. Spent 300 bucks fixing it. Then again the light went back on another week later and the keep just simply died. Having to spend more money on electrical the wires on the motor are all messed up and causing a short. I'm pregnant driving a car that I bought thinking that was in good condition and it's not it's not even safe for me to drive it. I'm feel so ripped off and so upset that as a woman I trusted them that it was a working car and all it has done nothing is breakdown on me over and over since I bought this maybe 4 months now. Worse part is I can't complain they sold it as is and I was dumb enough to believe them.

Stay away from here! Once they've sold you the car you are on your own! Horrible place to buy a car - Jerry Durant is so greedy you will most likely end up upside down if you get a car from this place! From my experience I will never get a car here again! Think twice because they seem nice at first but all they want is a sale - once they have your money they don't care!
Treated Great by EVERYONE----LONG before the sale.
I had dealing with Jerry Durrant on several occasions prior to buying my 2013 Prius. Their service is what hooked me. I had thought about the VW Jetta but the nearest dealer is over 100 miles away. Jerry Durrant is less than 5. I had previous arrangments to pay for the car in advance and had an excellent interest rate. They asked me if they could TRY to match it. Not only did they match it they beat it! Carl the salesman I worked with bent over backwards to get me my car. I special ordered it and it came in late after 9pm Carl called me and told me it would be in late Friday night and wanted to know if I wanted to pick it up that night or wait. As I had made plans to go out of town Sat I elected to pick it up Fri night, and drive it instead of my Tundra. Carl had it ready, full of fuel and all the paper work ready for my signature. Entire transaction took less then 30 minutes. I have bought several NEW cars from other dealers and never was it this quick. They did repairs on my 2003 Tundra (which I did not buy from them) and had to keep it a few days. They gave me a BRAND NEW Tacoma P/U less than 20 miles as a loaner. When I went to pick up my Tundra they had washed it fixed it and the total was less than they had told me it would be! That was the 1st of several repairs I had done on the Tundra. Their service department is what hooked me, their sales department is what sold me (no pun intneded). When and if I can wear the Tundra or the Prius out I will deal again with Jerry Durrant in Granbury Texas. Excellent Service Excellent Sales Excellent Dealership. The so called BIG 3 or 4 will never get me back. I asked for it and I got it at Jerry Durrant in Granbury Texas.
They said my credit score was in the 600's and I had pulled it days before and it was close to 800! I am very good about paying my bills and I could not understand why they came up with that number? Called a friend who is in the car business and its a tactic they use to get you to spend more money on a warranty. Make you feel like they are really working for you! Just beware of this and stick to your guns. What they dont realize is I was going to buy an extended warranty and that was just not necessary! They kept repeating you got the 2.9% because we can tell you have excellent credit. Toyota has tiers and if I did have a low score, NOBODY could just "give" me the 2.9, does not happen that way! Dont let them make you feel bad, go in knowing what your score is and you can negotiate on the extended warranty! Try to be in the room when they pull your credit. This really needs to apply in any dealer! There are some shady places out there! Be careful.......
How it should be
I drove almost 40 miles to have my corolla recall service done by Durant, after seeing their A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. It was well worth the drive. All of the service people are courteous and honest. None of the people waiting on their vehicles was ever approached by a service rep who tried to sell them more maintenance or parts. I went to Durant because another dealer tried to convince me that before they could get the recall approved by Toyota, they had to do some diagnostics on my car. The rep at Durant could not understand why another dealer would not honor the recall on my vehicle before resorting to any other, more costly measures. In addition, the rep offered suggestions to help my local, independent mechanic diagnose any further issues that may arise with the car! This is the way all dealers should be!!! Durant has earned my trust and my business any time I need a dealership. Thank you guys!!!!
