Greed over customer service
Do not purchase a car from Meador Dodge. They take hours trying to give you less than your trade in is worth. Then even though you told them you already had financing they spend another hour trying to talk you into their financing. They after they have your money they no longer care about you at all! Needed help with total loss paperwork after I was hit by a drunk driver. I was in need and dealing with so much and they managed to make the situation worse. They ignored my insurance companies request for return of the prorated extended warranty so that they can process the total loss. I had to call dozens of times, getting transferred, hung up on etc before I could really talk to anyone. When I did talj to the financial manager he was rude, and intimidating I believe because I was a woman and informed me many times he had customers to help. Never returned phone calls. When finally talking with him he was very argumentative and my husband was listening on the speaker phone and had enough of how the financial manager was speaking to me and spoke up. My husband did not even get a sentence out before the financial manager hung up. My husband called back to talk to a manager and surprise, none was available so he left a message asking for a return phone call. Surprise, no was has called him back! Once they have your money they no longer care. My recommendation, go elsewhere!
Do not sign a contract with these people unless the car is sitting there in front of your face. Even then, I would be wary. My first try, the car I was test driving was sold while I was driving it unless they tried to sell me a sold car. Then I signed paperwork for another car after being assured it was available (was a dealer trade with Autonation in North Richland Hills). Amazingly, it got sold even though I had a contract on it. To make matters worse, it took a week before anyone would tell me why my car was not ready for me to pick up. Don't even waste your time here. All I got out of the deal was a late car payment (on my trade), a sorry and a nice hit on my credit for a late payment. Ridiculous!

Stay away from this service department,shady practices. I was told my jeep had front end problems and even though it had 13k miles on it it was not covered by warranty due to excessive off road. I took it to another local dealer and they found no problems! Meador has horrible customer service and very shady business practices. Avoid at all cost!

Sold my son a truck that should have gone to auction
Not a happy customer: I wanted a reputable dealer that my son (17) could buy a diesel truck from. Went to Meador. Sold him a 2008 Dodge diesel with 249,000 miles on it, no warranty but said it was a good truck, well taken care of. .Asking $19,000, we paid them $13,000. I trusted them. Two weeks later: New transmission $3,200. We put it in. Then stopped after this all the bad kept happening: One week after that: Discovers air cond is not cold: New one $2,900. Went to get front end aligned, he would not do it, all tie rods, etc are bad, mechanic old him to take truck back or get rid of it. Returned truck to dealer to try to get money back. They would only give us $10,500 on a trade. Are you kidding me? All they had on the lot that we remotely even wanted was a 2012 Camaro, we bought it for an additional $3,000!!!. So they got the truck back with a new transmission, and we paid an additional $3,000 to get out of owning it. I nor he will ever return to this dealer.

Very clean and nice show room. The sales person was great, very helpfull and made my purchase of my truck a great experience. The sales person did exactly what I wanted and made it possible for me to lease a new truck for very little down and very low monthly payments.
The work on my ATS was done on time and the job was great ,I have no problems with the company and the work completed. I will send my sons to the company for there car work if needed.Joe Jackson

I have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealership, I have dealt with others but I have never been treated so well as I have at Meador DCJR. The sales staff especially Lonnie Smoots is outstanding, no pressure and honest pricing. If I am ever in the market again I will return again to Meador. If any of my family, close friends or neighbors are in the market, I will send them there as well. Top notch and trustworthy sales and service. Three hour oil change
I bought my truck at Meador from Lonnie Smoots. Lonnie is an amazing salesman that was easy to work with and was reasonable. When it came time to finance I wanted warranty and the maintenance plan that included oil changes. Finanve showed me the price for each but like most dealerships they play the shell game and lumped both into one line and called it warranty. So when it came time for my first oil change it took longer than expected. My second oil change took even longer. I have to go in on Saturdays since I have a job and cannot make it there before they close on weekdays (like tha majority of people). I went in again on 4/30/16 for an oil change and tire rotation and brought my 2 year old. I setup a time on their website for an appointment and received a confirmation email which I found out later was a waste of time and pointless. From the time I pulled up to the time I got back into my truck it was three hours. It took three hours! I had a 2 year old that was hungry and crying (loudly) which made me even more impatient. I thought that I paid for this separately when I bought the truck so I asked to speak with finance to see if they could give me my money back for the maintenance plan (prorated) since I feel trapped using this service since I paid for it. I explained to finance and the customer support guy that was helping me that 3 hours is redicous and unacceptable especially after scheduling online. He told me I couldn't get my money back since I got it for free (shell game, we discussed the actual dollar amount when I bought the truck). He then told me that it can be used at any other Dodge dealership and to go somewhere else next time. So I guess I will spend my time at a different Dodge dealership once every 2 or 3 months and look at trucks while I wait. I buy new every 3 or 4 years so I will most likely buy from the location where I build the best rapport. I am not they guy that leaves reviews but since they mave emailed me three times asking to leave reviews on Yelp, Edmonds, etc. I thought I would share my experience as aked. Three hours? REALLY?
Salesman with a heart
I went to Meadow Dodge at a crucial time in my life, I needed a car, I admit that I am not an ez customer in the finance world. But I believe that GOD lead me to one of his angel on earth Kevin Edison, that helped me within his capabilities without lying to me. It really makes a difference when you meet a salesman that is not a robot inside a human body looking for more money.
From buying my vehicles to doing the maintenance, this dealership has been easy to work with, fast, efficient and trustworthy.
While my auto was being worked on three different times within a one month time period, I had a rental car from the dealership. One of those rental's left me stranded on the side of the road. There were no instructions in the rental to help me get help. I had to call the dealership after hours of the service department. I had to depend on the sales department to help me get assisstance. I called the tow company the dealership used and got no one. The service manage tried and he got no one either. He was in Dallas and I was in Joshua, TX. He said he would come get me. I said that was unacceptable. I said I would use my roadside assisstance insurance to get towed to the shop. I was assured I would be reimbursed. Two weeks later when I picked up my auto there was no check waiting on me. I had to get upset and loud in the shop to get Mick Mickelson to pay me cash to get me to be quiet and leave. There was no "We are sorry for the inconvenience." They did not even give me paper work on the work completed.
Of course I feel they could of given me a little more for my trade but, I'm very well pleased with the sales person and manager. I looked up on true car and I got the best deal them anyone in the area. The only unhappy part was financing. I was not given the right price up front ( they lowered my interest rate and did not see the true beginning price. So, when we did warranty stuff , I thought I was getting a good price for the extended warranty). I do have to say that there was a mistake on paper work and the financial guy did take the hit for there mistake ( I started out saying I would put money down and then I told the sales person no money down and what I signed reflected no money down but, finance did not get that copy. So, he removed it off final contract). I recommend Medor as a very honest and upstanding dealer.. This was my third vehicle in the last 6 years I have bought from them. I'm very pleased.

Pleasant purchasing experience with Meador CDJ located in Fort Worth, Texas. The staff was courteous and the process was seamless. I was provided with a price over the phone and it was honored upon my visit to the dealer. I was also provided a fair price for my trade (2011 Honda Accord Coupe).
Excellent experience all the way around!
I started my shopping online and knew what I was looking for before I went in. I was searching for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I spoke to Shannon James via email and phone and she sent me information on what I was looking for along with great prices. I delayed going in for a few days (surgery) and when I called to say I was coming in she had me set up with Shagufta to show me around the lot and take care of me. Let me say the entire experience was EXCELLENT! From the time I walked in, to the time I completed signing paperwork was 1 hour. I not only found a Jeep better walking the lot, but the prices was better right out of the gate, first offer! I had my own financing and there was no pressure sale or pushing to use Meadors lendors. They also only asked once about extended warranties and there was no pressure there. I not only will buy my next Jeep or Dodge from them, I will recommend all my friends and family there. It was worth the drive to me as I live in Denton County and made the drive down and now I am sooooo happy I did!
