New 2017 Mazda cx-5 grand touring

In no way did I go with the intent of purchasing a vehicle when I visited the dealership. I was actually there for recall service on my 2015 cx-5. That's when a beautiful 2017 in dark gray caught my eye. I went in to see if I could get it unlocked and was introduced to salesman Worth Peak. Mr. Peak was professional without being high pressured. He was knowledgeable and built a great raport with me from the start. Next thing I knew I was on a test drive and seated to see what they could do for me. Even though I was slightly upside down on my 2015 Mr. Peak and business manager Nick Rowe worked to get me an excellent deal! It was a true pleasure working with all of the staff at Bill Gatton Mazda! I will be sure to buy all my cars here.

Very pleased with new car purchase

In October 2015 I bought a new Mazda through ‘Bill Gatton Acura Mazda’ of Johnson City, TN. I like to research on-line and communicate mostly through e-mail. Sales Consultant Daniel Smith was a tremendous help, always responded promptly, and was upfront. Compared to the two other dealerships I communicated simultaneously, he pro-actively looked for the vehicle I was looking for, and made it work, for the best price. Sales Manager Matt Hickman processed the finances and made the paper work easy and pleasant. This is where I am going to start for my next new car purchase.

Best dealer service experience ever

My new car failed to start the first day I bought it.Bill Gatton delivered a loaner car to my house and picked up my new car.Parts had to be ordered and installed(push button starter switch).When car was finished a few day later they delivered my new car back to me detailed and full of gas.Service dept personnel top notch and easy to talk to.

Best sales experience

Bill Gatton in Johnson City was the ONLY dealer in the tri-cities out of the four that I e-mailed that would even talk to me thru e-mail. We were given a quote online; however, we didn't like the vehicle and wound up purchasing another car (2011 Mazda 6i Touring). We were given a fair deal and the sales process was very easy. We weren't passed off to multiple people and given typical baloney car sales lines like "let me see if it's still available". After test driving two vehicles for more than 30 minutes, and eating lunch while they drew up the paperwork, we were still done in under 4 hours. Had we have stuck with our original purchase, and stayed on the lot while they drew up the financing paperwork, I am confident we would have easily been out in under 1 to 2 hours. Kristen was easy to deal with and gave us a no-pressure buying experience. This is the second car we have purchased from this dealer, and we plan to purchase many more here in the future.
