Will not fix problems, even under warranty
I have had my Sentra in 3 times now. Car is less than 5 years old, under 59K, and paid in full and IS still under warranty. (according Newton Nissan per their service manager Brad Bradshaw who states that if ANY service done to your car is not on a ticket it didn't happen and if the customer does NOT check every.single.ticket to make sure it's correct the service department is NOT accountable). I have spoken with David twice and Dalton twice about the specific issues with my car. I just got my car out of the service department today, on the way driving home, this same light/problem happened! My ticket CLEARLY states they found this problem does NOT happen at ANY time or ANY tempature. I can't decide if I want to laugh or cry. I had asked for an oil change and new wipers and a plastic panel under the steering wheel to be reattached when I dropped off for checking of the main problem cause, it was already there and was NEVER put on the ticket to be done! They tried to charge for the oil change (covered under warranty, NO charge!) and I got NO sticker stating when my next change should be. After waiting another hour in lobby to do oil change, wipers they still had not reattached plastic panel (which David himself crawled into car to put back on). While waiting in lobby I had just enough time to process the fact that I was verbally told by David that the radio had been "reprogrammed" this was NOT on the repair ticket, aka (according to service manager Brad Bradshaw) it never happened. David was kind enough to HAND WRITE on my ticket this happened, which means it will NEVER be in their system and it did not happen. SO, all in all I didn't have use of my car for a week....for them to reprogram the radio (which still has all my perfect presets...) and not do 1/3 of what I had asked to be done. In conclusion to all my problems, NEVER EVER buy from Newton Nissan! NEVER trust anyone in the service department...
BEWARE this dealer. SCAM
I just had the worst experience at a car dealer that Ive ever had before. I drove quite a distance to the dealer. Test drove the car, liked it. Decided to look at purchasing it. Agreed on a deal with the salesman. He ran the numbers and pulled my credit. We finalized the deal and the terms / rate. After a long delay, the Sales Manager came out and said he got the numbers wrong. He stated that the car would be $1,000 more expensive that the agreed upon deal. When I went to gather my things and leave, he stated that he would make it up to me on the interest rate by lowering it. We had already agreed upon the best and lowest interest rate that they could get me, but magically he could lower it now. Taking this a step farther, this isnt even close to being the same thing. I would lose that money plus some if I paid off the car early. He tried convincing me that this would come out the same dollars and cents wise. We stated we wanted the original deal on the table that we agreed upon. They wouldnt do it. My wife and I left. The salesman wrote me a text (never called) the next morning while I was at work. I called him back a bit later. He tried apologizing for the honest mistake and after a moments, he disclosed that they had sold the car to another customer that morning. I get that holding a car isnt a good option for a car dealer, and to be clear, I never asked him to, but if I cared about my customers and the experience that I was giving to them, I would have tried to straighten things out first thing that morning. I also would have gone way further than sending a text that stated to call me when you can. I cant help but wonder if they got a higher offer after we agreed upon our deal when they came back with the $1,000 mistake. I certainly hope this is not the way that they treat all of their customers. Ultimately, their dealership has made it clear that they dont care about me or my business. The car is just a car; I couldnt care less that it got away. There are plenty out there. I will never step foot on this car lot again. The salesman was JT Rosenthal and he was fine. The arrogant Sales Manager was Bruce Moss. In an effort to prevent this from happening to anyone else, I am going to let everyone that I possibly can know about my experience as well via any method I can social media and any dealer rating websites. I have also contacted Nissan, the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce and the BBB.
Best Dealership Ever
Purchased a car last year from Donnie. Everyone involved in the sales process was wonderful. No hiccups at all. Did not expect major problems as I have heard of their good reputation but expected to at least have one offer above what I was willing to pay. Offer was better than I ever imagined. Did not go in with the necessity to trade and was willing to leave if an agreement could not be met. Would have waited and came back at a later date or researched other dealers. Trade in offer, purchase price, payments were all lower than I walked in prepared to request and we did a lot of homework before our visit. Going back soon to see about trading our other vehicle. Highly recommended!
Exceeded my expectations
I went to Newton Nissan on a referral to buy a safe, reliable , road aggressive yet fuel efficient vehicle and found just. I didn't have great credit but was painlessly offered an interest rate below what others offered. Newton Nissan went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. Friendly environment with exceptional dedication. I will recommend this dealership to family and friends
Contacted this dealer. Staff helpful and informative. Was looking for Cheap transportation for granddaughter. Found a Versa that met the price but found a 2013 Sentra slightly cheaper. Good, honest the type of dealership i would recommend to anyone looking to buy a car to visit.
Wonderful experience! I had requested online quotes from multiple dealerships giving specific details of the car I wanted. Brandon P. was the only one who focused on finding what I had requested rather than ceaseless suggestions for me to come in and look around. He gave direct answers, asked relevant questions, and offered options when appropriate without making me feel rushed or pressured. Both Brandon and Anthony G., in Finance, were very personable and accommodating. I will definitely be recommending Brandon and Newton Nissan to my friends and family.
Nissan - Gallatin Sales Review
Experienced issues with pricing and dishonesty.
I've taken both of my Nissans- an Infiniti I35 and a Nissan Altima- to Newton Nissan of Gallatin for several oil changes and services. So far, I've been satisfied on my trips there. The big window in the waiting area is perfect for watching the service techs work on the car. The prices are excellent on smaller services (oil changes and tire rotations) but become much pricier with the 30,000 and 90,000 mile services. The minor issues that I notice with the cars are always taken care of. While the higher end services are much pricier, they do provide free rentals in those instances. Also when you are waiting, the advisors will give you updates on your car in the bay if they notice you have been there for a while. I'll continue to take both Nissans there in the future for work. The free rentals, though, are provided through Enterprise and the quality of your rental car may vary.
