Never Never buy from here
My wife and I purchased a car from here, long story short, at around 40k miles it would shut off while driving down the road...took it in 3x. They couldn't duplicate the problem so they couldn't fix it which is understandable...we got it back and it happened again this time locking up the steering wheel...the GM here told me there was nothing he could do and I should contact Kia....I thought they were Kia?? The service department was great in trying to find the problem but unfortunately couldn't. My issue here is no one in management attempted to help us...the vehicle is still under warrante and we bought the extended one as well...now I own a car that shut off by itself driving down the road...just what I want my wife and kids in...you would think the dealership would be doing everything they could to keep this car off the road...but nope they just want me to trade it in for another Kia as if it were a regular trade in putting me upside down on our loan. great sales idea!! Have your cars fail and try and upsell them...wonderful, why would I become a repeat customer
Great Experience at Keffer Kia!
I write this review as a first time car buyer: I went into Keffer Kia knowing exactly what I wanted: the model, year, and color. I had already gone to two Folger Kia dealerships prior to stepping foot into Keffer Kia so I skipped through the show and tell part of the process and jumped right into the negotiations. My parents and I were greeted by a gentleman named Christopher W. For a car salesman, he was extremely honest and genuinely cared that we walked out of there feeling as though we got the best deal. He was truly an advocate for us as he ran our terms back with his manager. He listened to each detail we spewed and never disappointed us when he returned. I strongly recommend asking for Christopher W when you go to Keffer Kia, he won't disappoint!
Keffer Kia is the BEST!
Purchased a brand new 2014 Kia Soul this week and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Ken B and the sales staff were awesome and with my mediocre credit they got me into more than the car I needed. They got me into the sweet ride I wanted. Did an online application at 7am....by 8:30am I was getting phone calls from Ken and the staff. They followed up with me throughout the day until I could get to the dealership at 2:45. I drove off the lot at 5:30 with 10 miles on the odometer of my brand new Soul. Friendly no pressure atmosphere with a knowledgeable, efficient customer first staff made the buying experience not only easy but fun as well. If your buying a car you can't do better than Ken B and the awesome staff at Keffer Kia!!!

I searched online for a Kia Soul with a manual transmission. Found 1 at Keffer with only 1900 miles. Met Addison at 11:30, by 2:00 I was driving off the lot in my new To me Kia Soul. My credit was pretty bad due to divorce and the finance department worked with me to get payments that I could live with. They were courteous and professional. Thanks Keffer Kia, I love my car.

Ken was awesome!!!!
I started looking for another car at the end of April. I first talked to Shannon, however, at this time nothing could be done. I didn't give up though. I later contacted the dealership once more, I spoke with Ken B. He was very friendly, not pushy, and let me look at as many cars as I needed to. My thoughts going into this was that there was no way this dealership could help me. I have a credit score in the 400's. So you can see why. I was coming off a medical leave so my paychecks weren't as they should've been. Ken worked with me and he got Dwayne the GM involved as well. If it wasn't for both of them, I wouldn't be driving around in a 2014 Forte! I definitely recommend this dealership. It's an hour drive from where I live but I would definitely go back. I can't thank Ken and Dwayne enough for helping me and finding a way to get into this beautiful and fun car. With this car, I can start to rebuild my credit and my financial stability. So if you're in the market for a new car or think you might be interested, stop by Kia of Mooresville and check them. You will be amazed!
Beautiful Car and Great Experience
Car shopping is not on my top list of things to do but Keffer Kia actually made it a pleasant experience. Shannon M was my salesman and he was a joy. He was knowledgeable and patient as we came to a deal. The dealership was very professional and treated us extremely well. I love my new Optima. The dark cherry red is such a beautiful color and the features are amazing. Sunroof and heated seats. Wow. It drives so nice. I am so happy with my purchase at Keffer Kia and recommend them highly. I went there after reading online reviews and I was not disappointed. Great dealership and great cars.
What A Pleasant Surprise!
I start every one of my Car Buying adventures KNOWING I will hate it! And that is because car salespeople generally will trade in their own mother to make a sale and will get you to believe she is a Victoria's Secret model as they do. It is with that attitude that I came to Keffer Kia to start my latest round. My mission was to compare 4 cars starting with a Cadenza. I started here because it was closest to my house. I fully expected I would be shackled to the desk if I tried to leave without buying. My salesman Ken greeted me as I got out of my car. Hmmm...what is he up to? Shifted my wallet to a front pocket. Locked my car. Made my mission clear to Ken and he actually agreed and offered to help me with what he knew about the competition. Yep, just as I thought, he will now speak of Kia as if I was entering the pearly gates and the competition as if it were Hell. Gave him my list of 4 cars. He actually added one and thought I should also consider it. OK, NOW I really don't know what he is up to but I am watching carefully. Proceeded to the Cadenzas on the lot. Spent a 'casual' 20 minutes going through it and ending in a test drive. Wonderful! car. Back to the competitors only now I am listening to Ken because he hasn't tried to sell me yet nor twitched to give away that he was lying. Still, I watch him carefully. Car by car we discuss and he is sincere with his input. Never once did he act like a car salesman? I looked up to verify I was at the Kia dealership. He gave me his undivided attention for nearly 45 minutes and I never once told him I was interested. He actually let me go without once trying to reschedule my 'next' visit. I told him I'd be back and he believed I would. Well now, my very next move was to take his input on the competitors and check each out. I eliminated 3 that night! The only remaining car in play was the one Ken suggested. It came down to those 2 when I went back to negotiate with Ken FIRST.....he earned it with his honesty, sincerity, soft sell and integrity. We struggled some through the negotiation but by now we were close enough to finish AND the car was superior to #2. We closed and I have to say it was THE most enjoyable (did I actually use that word?) car buying experience I have gone through. Highly recommend this dealer for an unusual and enlightening buying experience.

Stopped into the dealership driving my 2005 Sorento with no intentions to buy. Shannon came out and took me on a test drive in the Optima which I immediately fell in love with. Came back the next day and a deal was made. Noticed during the finishing of the sale that there was a light scratch on the pain above the drivers side back door..as well as the chrome piece. I brought it to Shannon's attention and he said they would take care of it. Dropping it back off this week to get it fixed. Honestly couldn't ask for a better experience....very friendly environment....great personalities. Would highly recommend anyone who's interested in a Kia to go to Keffer first.

Great Experience and Customer Service!
After visiting a few dealerships and looking at various cars, we decided on a Sorento at Keffer Kia. Primarily worked with sales rep Scott H, who made the whole process easy and enjoyable! We came in on a Friday evening and even though we kept folks there until 9 pm, no one rushed or pushed us out. The finance manager Greg took his time to make sure we were getting what we wanted. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience. They have a great team there! I recommend Keffer Kia and Scott H to anyone looking for a vehicle!
Best car buying experience I've ever had!
My wife and I recently purchased our Honday Pilot from Keffer Kia in Mooresville, NC. Our sales person was Scott H and I was extremely pleased in our dealings with him. Scott was very courteous and accommodating to our very thorough pre-test drive inspection (we brought a list and spent at least half an hour going over the vehicle) and extended test drive. He answered all our questions or got answers to our questions in a timely manner. He was kind enough to remain quiet during our test drive so we could hear the engine and focus on the vehicle's performance. He even verified he heard a mysterious, muffled rattle during the test drive. This turned out to be a bad catalytic converter, which the dealership replaced at no cost to us. Scott followed up with us in a professional manner- even after we purchased the vehicle- and at no time during our dealings with Scott did he put any pressure on us at all to purchase or make a decision. In fact, I was very impressed with the casual approach that Scott and his manager, Eric S, took during our buying process. The thing that most impressed me (besides them replacing the cat. converter without charge) was that they allowed us to take the vehicle for the weekend to have our mechanic inspect the car. We signed the car out for a (Holiday) weekend. We didn't even have to put down a deposit! We put over 400 miles on the vehicle during our extended inspection and test drive. When we told Scott about the concerns our mechanic had with the vehicle (possible bad cat. converter shield, brakes a little worn, and ball bearing in 1 tire a little noisy, 1 tire a little low on air- the last 3 were no bid deals, not safety issues at that point) and told him what price we would pay for the car, he took the info. to Eric and they agreed to fix the cat. conv. if it was bad and agreed to our price- no haggling necessary. And the price was several hundred dollars below the internet price! They did this by phone before we even made our 46 mile drive from home back to the dealership. When we arrived at the dealership they had their service dept. check the cat. conv. and sure enough, it was bad. They ordered the part and agreed to replace it for free (in writing) before we purchased the car and made arrangements for us to bring the car back in when the part came in (they ended up giving us a new Sorrento as a loaner). They checked all the tires' air pressure and filled them to the correct levels. And they followed through with their deal on our price. We finalized the deal with no up-sells, backing out of the deal, or pressure. Even the F&I guy didn't pressure us on an extended warranty- just showed us our options and took our "no" and moved on! Overall, I was extremely pleased with our experience with the sales staff at Keffer Kia in Mooresville. I highly recommend them and recommend you ask for Scott Hayes if you decided to do your shopping there. Scott is a very nice gentleman and very easy going. So if you like no pressure salesmen, he's your guy. I also believe Scott and Eric S to be honest men and true to their word. They've done everything they said they would and have been extremely generous and helpful. I will definitely begin my search at this dealership and seek out Scott and Eric to do business with the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle.

We where traveling from the beach on our way back to the mountain last week, and stopped by Keffer Kia in Mooresville. My daughter jumped out to look at a new Optima. We where not hassled at all when we told our salesperson JT that we only wanted to work, since we lived in the mountains. In our opinion this is what dealerships should be like. A very pleasant experience
We contacted the dealership prior to driving to Mooresville. Shannon was kind enough to accept our call. He took us on a long test drive so that we could really get a feel for the car. When the color that we wanted was only available in the higher end model, they worked with us on the price and we ended up with a great deal on the vehicle that my husband and I are both very pleased with.

Had a great buying experience. Came in with nothing to trade in and horrible credit. Natalie really went above and beyond. I'm so happy to have a vehicle.
