Good Salesman

My salesman. David Carter, was awesome, no pressure, listen to my needs and was very knowledgeable. The reason why I cannot give a 5 star review is because of the Finance Manager, Tony. I bought my car on 12/16, I did not have my glasses and I had been at the dealership for 3 hours and it was late and I was hungry. I have a FICO score of 843 and expected a great percentage for the remainder of what I was financing. I signed the paper work went to dinner and told them I would be by with the remainder of the deposit and to pick up my new car around 11:00 AM. When I saw the percentage that evening I was upset...3.5%. When I went back to the dealership I spoke to the Sales Manager who went to Tony and Tony apologized, he knew I was in a hurry and did not check around for better percentage. I told him I would be back on Monday so that David could spend some more time with me and help me understand some of the features. When I sent the paperwork to my insurance, State Farm, they called me Monday at 10:00 AM and told me they could give a better insurance rate. When I sent back on Monday to tell Tony that State Farm gave me a great rate and I would be back at 5:00 PM for a check from State Farm, it was his chance to tell me he could match the rate or even better. Instead he said "okay". I saw his office and all of the files of paperwork he has been working on and can see he is overloaded..however Priority Honda needs to leverage the salesmen who are sitting around help with putting in the general information and forms together and finance needs to look around for better rates for those of us that have great FICO scores.

This man is the epitome of what you expect from a salesman. Not only is Lester knowledgeable about his product, but he treats you, the customer, with respect but also with a friendly attitude and as if you were the most important customer that he has ever sold. We bought a Honda Pilot from Priority Honda Huntersville. Lester McKoy was our Sales Consultant. I highly recommend asking for him. He's extremely knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The sales consultants at the two Toyota dealerships we visited were nowhere near as knowledgeable and I was really put off by how pushy they were. Lester made all the difference!

Detailing

Dealing with Allen Sanchez in the Service Dept was good. Issue was that the actual detailing work was very poor. Wax job was bad. Rear seat was also left dirty. Had to spend a bunch of time finishing the job when I got home. Should have just done it all myself.

Bad Overall Experience

I have been repeatedly let down at Priority Honda. We bought a new Odyssey from them and have time and again been frustrated with them. We bought a semi-annual maintenance package that turned out to be a glorified car wash. The "Free Oil-Changes" (with an appointment) take over 2 hours. After taking my van back for an alignment (after only having the NEW van for 2 months) I had to pay to have them fix it and that didn't even work. I call and talk to numerous people about these issues, each with a promise to return my phone call with a resolution...but the phone never rings from them again. Hopefully others don't have these issues but my family's frustrations have been unacceptable.
