Good service department

They perform routine servicing in a reasonable amount of time. They informed me I had a service contract that I didn't know about, giving me 4 free services ie oil and fuel filter changes. They explained the contract to me as well. When I needed more work done, they put me in a courtesy car. They were not able to diagnose my problem even though they took extra time to try and figure it out. They stayed in constant contact with me to let me know the status of my truck.

I had an appointment scheduled with Mr. Joe Summers at 5:30pm. I walked in about 15 minutes early, but that didn't cause a problem at all. He and the manager were extremely professional and worked with me. I have a 100% satisfied customer and will definitely look to Dick Shirley Chevy when it comes time for my next car.

Great Experience, Great Service

Staff kept me informed throughout the entire process and worked with the warranty company to ensure I paid the least out of pocket necessary. (They were really difficult but the staff at Dick Shirley were persistent and thorough) I appreciated the shuttle service and friendly atmosphere. I received quality repairs and service. I would definitely return!

Horrible service

Our brand new car with 700 miles went in and out of shop 6 times and the issue is still not fixed. Mechanics have no clue what they're doing, even managed to put the tires on backwards so how can a person trust them with any of the engine work. The service department and their mechanics are a joke. Just pitiful and sad. Could go on for days about how horrible they are but don't have that much free time. Will make sure every website hears about their lack of care, incompetence and disrespect toward my wife who paid cash for her car but can't get anyone to fix it.

Quick and Easy Service

My Chevy Volt was subject to a service campaign to replace the potentially defective struts that hold open the rear hatch. I was actually contacted by the dealer to set up an appointment. Parts were ordered and arrived in just a couple of days. They were installed as I waited for only 15 or 20 minutes. I am very pleased with this service department.

The Service Department at Dick Shirley Chevrolet always provides excellent service to my three Chevrolet vehicles. I would not want to have my cars serviced anywhere else. The staff in the service area and the cashier's office know how to treat customers with courtesy.

I have dealt with Dick Shirley Chevrolet off and on for years. Their service Department has evolved over the years to one that is excellent. I usually deal with the same individual who knows me a soon as I arrive and is quick to address me respectfully and in a friendly manner. I have never had to wait longer than expected. When I have questions about my vehicle, they are patient in answering and explaining anything I don't understand.

Five months to get it right

Body shop does not perform the level of work I would expect from a Cadillac dealership. After hitting a deer last November, just before Thanksgiving, my CTS was towed to the Dick Shirley body shop. The original estimate was it would be done the week of Christmas. I got it back the 2nd week of January with work still needing to be done, so it had to back about a week later. After this, my insurance company inspected the repairs and highlighted several issues that were missed and needed to be addressed. Each time I picked up the car, there were new scratches that needed to be buffed out or retouched. Further, I've learned that when the body shop "details" the car, that doesn't mean clean the interior. Last time I picked it up, there was paint dust on the driver's seat and inside both doors and to this day there remains air bag dust on the instrument cluster. At this point, work is technically complete thought there are still new scratches that were "touched up" that were not present before. All in all, I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend this shop nor for my insurance company to list it as a preferred site. Five months to get it right and they still fell short.
