Deceptive sales tactics and shady business ethics
I just moved to town and am in the market for a used truck purchase and had my eye on a 2014 Dodge Ram with ~44,800 miles on it that was listed on their website yesterday evening for $20,995. After performing my research and looking at the VIN and other dealerships, I gave this one a call at 4:15pm and again at 4:25pm and spoke with Larry expressing my interest to purchase the truck and if they still allowed people to take cars home overnight. He said only if theres obvious interest in purchasing, and asked me if I could come in that day. I called my cousin who is an Albuquerque native and a local business owner to help me during my first car purchase from a dealership. We had a show to go to at 7:00pm so we had to reschedule to come first thing Sunday morning instead. As soon as we get to the dealership, a salesmen named Raul greets me and I inform him of the truck Im looking for that Ive seen online already and he gets the keys while I wait for my cousin to arrive. Its not until we are halfway through the test drive that we are informed the price I had been given already is not the actual price, and that he will have to speak with his manager... we find out the car is now listed at $8,000 more! This is after we drove down to the dealership and took the car on a test ride. We return to the dealership and ask to speak with the manager, Chris, directly. Raul proceeds to tell us it was not an in-house error and the result of a 3rd party doings error, and that the manager will not be able to honor the price. We say that is ridiculous and sounds like some shady business practice going on. We suggest they honor the price and go after the errors and omissions policy of the 3rd party error then if there was a mistake on their behalf and make good on this. (If it was truly a pricing error and not a bait & switch) We ask to speak with Chris directly about the matter. Chris comes in and then tells us it was he, himself, who made inputted the price, and now he has changed the price because he realizes it is under marker price, and he will not honor it at all. I would avoid the shady and deceptive sales practices of this dealership. I am consulting legal advice now in order to file a suit with the Attorney Generals office which protects Consumers with the Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act. This seems like an open and shut case of goading consumers to visit the dealership and bait and switching them to pay a higher price than they originally intended. this company should shut down
i purchased a car 2/11/2017 i came in with a letter of pre approval of loan....ask them not to rerun my credit as to not lower my credit score.... they ran my credit put me into another loan company at 1/2 higher rate and sold me a warranty with the words it covers all repairs except tires brakes windshield or wiper for 1947.00.......my A/C stopped working i called for service was told had to wait 11 days.If i went to another shop my warranty would be void...waited and sweated until 8/29 at 10 am appt... i arrived at 9:45am told it would be a wait they did not inspect the car until after 2pm.I recieved a call saying " a rock went under our car and put a hole in condenser line" needed to be replace and system recharge....i asked about my warrranty told will call you back...10 min later got a call from "Tommy the service guy" toldd it would cost me out of pocket 1018.00 because condenser line and compressor was broken by 1 rock that came off the pavement and warranty no good......it is only good for "manufacturers defect".... Will never use that company and filing a complaint of deceptive practices for lying about the warranty with the New Mexico Attorney General with a copy of this to the Better Business Bureau..........have the Auto industry dropped to this level for money and not care about people.....I really feel bad for their lack of common decency
My wife and I were at Cottonwood mall, just walking around and saw one of your signs in the mall for the sale in their parking lot. When we showed up to the tent, we were introduced to Steve. We started talking about what kind of CAR we were looking. When we were done, we asked for some privacy while we walking around. He was patient, wasn't steering us to a particular vehicle and very kind. We decided on a vehicle to test drive, fell in love with our decision and took it home the same day. He stood by us through the whole process and passed the time talking about our Military service and guns. Steve was an awesome sale person and would go thru him again. We were just looking for a car, came home with a 2014 Jeep. Thanks for everything.

Rip off artists
I applied to get into a vehicle after a bankruptcy, was told I was approved for the vehicle I wanted. When I asked for the specifics, was given a song and dance over the phone and told I had to go into the dealership to get any info on payments, etc. I am almost 400 miles away and did not want to drive all that way for nothing. So I complained, was given to another person who is the special finance manager, and was told in an email that the man I had been dealing with was "not a sales person and is directed not to discuss payments with customers". I was then told, two sentences later, that the vehicle I was interested in was no longer available but they had some more expensive ones. What a waste of my time!! I am now looking for a different dealership!!

Ihad the pleasure and luck to go to Melloy nissan in Albuquerque, NM. At our arrival were meet by Susan M. M. In my concept its the best salesperson that I have the oportunity to meet and deal with. Her knoledge, personality and her willingness to go the extra mile are amaising, knowing that her comission was not goin to be much due to the type of purchase we were going to make she did not spare an oportunity to help us and guide us so we could benefit and were able to get the best vehicle possible. I don't know what other words I can use to describe her level of professionalism but she is definitely areal professional and in the future she will be the first and only person I will use to purchase a car.
Best and easiest car deal I have ever made!
I've bought a lot of cars at a lot of dealerships over the years and This by far was the best expieriance I have had. No high pressure sales all the people I dealed with did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. I test drove four different vehicles over two weeks and even took a couple home overnight to show the wife who couldn't come with me all the time. Never gave me any trouble about bringing back the cars we didn't like and when we finally found the car we liked they bent over backward to get me the deal I needed to have. We got the car we wanted for the price and payment we wanted and did without all the back and forth negociations you normally get. I will be buying more vehicles from this dealership in the future.
