The service was very quick, needed to lease a car and drove off with the car in a few hours. The reps were accommodating and the establishment was clean and complied with health regulations put in place for covid.

As a female, its a little intimidating walking into a dealership on your own. Youre always told to bring your dad or bring a guy with you to ensure you wont get shammed into a bad deal. In my case, Ive been pretty independent growing up and havent had Dad or a boyfriend closeby to help me close the deal on a car. I left my old dealer simply because of the distance from my new place. I wanted to see what the local dealer had in store for me as I now needed to get out of my lease and purchase a car (to put commuter miles on). I walked into Planet Honda last week and was met with their warm and friendly staff. In the past, Ive leased cars in high-stress environments with the sales team putting pressure on me from all angles; the type of guys people always warned me about. Here, my sales rep, Antonio, listened to my needs and even took note of the car I mentioned Id wanted but probably couldnt have. Not only was Antonio and the team here able to work out a more than reasonable deal on the car, I got the car I really wanted but didnt think I could have. You can walk into Planet Honda with the confidence knowing youll be treated with respect and quoted reasonably, EVEN if youre a girl! 😁 Thanks to Antonio, Romney and the rest of the team at Planet Honda for making my first ever car purchase so easy and stress-free. I will be recommending this dealer to my network of family, friends and co workers.
I am always nervous when I walk into car dealerships because I've been burnt in the past by greedy car salesman. But from the minute I was contacted by an Internet Sales Rep to picking out my final car and completing all the paperwork, the agony of buying car disappeared. I didn't feel any of the pressure you normally feel during the car buying experience and my salesperson, Erick, was really kind and helpful.
Best Dealership Ever!!!
Planet Honda NJ provided amazing customer service!!! They made as feel comfortable and secure with our purchase. They worked extremely hard to get us the best deal. They made us feel like a part of the Planet Honda family. I loved the Congratulation sign in the rearview mirror after our purchase. I highly recommend get your vehicle from Planet Honda. Discouraged from the Beginning
I contacted knowing my poor credit but was encouraged by Edmunds to give it a go as payment calculator showed that it would be worth the trip. Unfortunately after speaking to Shaleifa, I felt completely discouraged from making the trip. I was practically begging for a reason to come in to purchase and to try it out. Instead I was told no calculations or quotes could be done on the phone. Not even an estimate or a conversation of what might be able to be done. I felt like I wasn't even welcome which is terrible. I even asked her if there was a reason I should come in and she couldn't even give me that. Not even a "come in, let's see what we can do". I was so disappointed I figured I shouldnt even try this dealership if that's the kind of response I get on the phone. Ugh.
Purchasing a car
Manny made buying my first car very easy and pleasant. The car I liked needed a paint job and he made sure it was done before I picked it up. The service was excellent and manny was very easy to work with.

Erick and Kero were extemely helpful and friendly with helping me and my girlfriend with purchasing our first car. They were very patient and answered all of our questions with ease. Would definitely recommend seeing them if you are going to purchase a car.

Well, Its been a great pleasure to work with planet Honda.I want to thank specially Stephen March who really helped me to get 2018 CRV EXL. He showed me all the possible ways to get the car.I was finally able to get it. Honda Accord Lemon
I've purchased a brand new honda accord 2018 from their dealership and basically its a complete lemon. In one month period of time, the car is up for repairs 7-8 times for the same issue and not fixed. The dealership states that they have 30 days lemon policy for unreasonable repairs. However, they do not want ot warrant this policy, as now they are coming with excuses that this only applies for preowned vehicles. Where does it state that? Stay away, I wish I never dealt with these people!
Very Positive Experience
Stopped in merely to browse at some cars. Ended up leaving that same day with a beautiful brand new vehicle. Our salesperson Kaleem Wyne spent hours with us. He was courteous, friendly, low pressure, and knowledgeable. Buying a new car can be a stressful, unpleasant experience. But the whole Planet Honda experience was great! Even enjoyable! We will recommend them to family and friends.
Amazing experience for brand new car
It was a great experience. Kaleem and Romney explained everything really well and gave us the best deal possible. We are happy with our brand-new Honda Civic and with the great customer service. Their patience and adaptability were phenomenal. Kaleem especially catered to our needs and helped us save and pick the best option for our family without wasting our time. He really knows everything there is to know about buying a new car. I would definitely choose Planet Honda again.

Never buy a used car here
I purchased a used second vehicle. Was promised by sales associate Kalechi that the vehicle had no issues. He said "why would we sell a car in bad condition- it's our reputation". The reputation stinks. I had the car 1 week and washed it. Leaked inside passenger floor. Called dealership general manager who said to me car was sold as is. He offered to fix it at my cost!! I brought it near me cuz union is 60 miles 1 way. Needed new windshield and exhaust had no bolts taked on. I had complained about this clanking noise night of purchase when Kalechi told me above. He told me to ignore the noise it's normal. I later looked under hood n saw fluid on hydraulic engine mounts. They were cracked on both sides n piece holding them was cracked too. I had to fix all of this in 2 weeks. They won't reimburse me or stand behind what they knew they missed and sold me.
Sold Vehicle as Certified that was in 3 Accidents

Customer care and handling certain situations to customer satisfaction, less than 3 stars. After weeks of research and a long day searching for the best certified pre-owned AWD CR-V EXL, my boyfriend and I walked into Planet Honda in Union, NJ on a very busy Saturday afternoon on October 29, 2016, sixty miles from our home in Bethlehem, PA. We had a long wait, but the sales manager noticeably scolded our soon to be sales agent for no one getting to us sooner. We chose Planet Honda for the largest selection of certified AWD CR-V's at that time. We were looking at 2012's to 2014's. After seeing everything on the lot, we were informed that there was a silver 2012 CR-V EXL with video system that had just arrived and was in the garage going through the certification process. They took us back to the garage to see it. We loved it! The salesman took us back inside to talk and run numbers while the vehicle was cleaned. They showed us the Car Fax, which did show 3 "fender benders," but we were assured the vehicle would be certified and under warranty for us. Because of the price difference of this over the newer models, and it being the only 2012 on the lot (everything else was newer or older) and the fact that it was an AWD EXL with the video package (very nice!), we decided to go with this vehicle--it was the most we could afford. We took another close look at it after it was all shiny and new and were escorted to finance. The Honda financial agent we met with to finalize the deal was very professional (5 stars). Finally after about 6 or more hours at the dealership, we were some of the last people there after 10PM. We said goodbye to my old trusty Subaru Impreza and headed home in our shiny, silver new-to-us 2012 CR-V EXL with video package, new tires, and 58,000 miles. When we picked my daughter up from my ex husband on Sunday night she fell in love with the car and it's video package. It even came with a copy of Frozen on DVD. She watched the video while we waited for the school bus every morning that week. On Thursday, November 3, I got a call from Planet Honda. Bad news, they said. "We're very sorry to inform you that your vehicle cannot be certified because it was in three accidents." (Um, yes, you showed us the Car Fax on Saturday October 29 with three accidents, but assured us it was certified and would be covered under warranty). "We need for you to bring the vehicle back. We have four here for you to choose from." We made arrangements for two different baby sitters for my daughter and drove the long 60 miles back to Planet Honda to sort this out. When we got there, there were only two vehicles for us to choose from, not 4 as promised (I had even called back a couple of times after getting the initial call to double check this single fact). One of these two was not AWD, which was an original criteria in our search for a certified CR-V EXL. So, there were not 4 for us to choose from, but one. A 2013 black CR-V EXL with 19,000 miles on it and no video system. Also, by the time we got there that night it was dark, and we couldn't see very well. We needed to get back home to my daughter before school the next day, not to mention we both had work. We looked the only option left over as best we could, had conversations with the sales team and met with a different financial manager who was far less professional than the first and trying to charge us more for this "swap." Plus, the first time, they screwed up the registration. I am the primary driver and it was to be registered with me as such, however, everything was put into my boyfriends name, which I had corrected as much as possible over the past week, but still, they were unable to fully fix these errors on the second visit. We did all the paperwork and were out of there, closing the place down again around 10PM. The new vehicle didn't drive as well as our 2012. The next day, I got to look at it in better light. I had noticed a lot of these, but there were far many more in the daylight lots of scuffs and scratches on the exterior and interior of this vehicle. Though it was newer it was not cared for like the 2012 we loved. There were also pet scratches, cigarette burns and food caked on in various places still, even though they had cleaned the vehicle. I began to make a list and emailed it to Planet Honda. Also, the steering wheel was crooked. So, we took it back that night with our list in hand. They said they would give us a loaner vehicle and take care of the list. The service manager asked if we had a credit card for the loaner vehicle. I explained, that yes, we both had Visa debit cards, but not conventional credit cards. When we got there early Friday evening, and were escorted to get the loaner car, we were turned away because we didnt have a traditional credit card, only our Visa debit cards. Here we are 60 miles from home with no way to leave the vehicle to get all the work done it needed because they refused to loan us a vehicle without a traditional credit card. They did keep it there long enough to fix the alignment for us. The car was severely out of alignment (explains why I drove so poorly when we brought it home) and the steering wheel was also out of alignment because it had not been locked the last time the vehicle was aligned, the steering wheel was not locked, as I was told by the service agent that night when he brought the car back to us. Another late night at Planet Honda. We drove the car home and after that there was a lot of back and forth with the dealership, customer service and service team about when and how to get the vehicle back to address the remaining items on the list. Finally we worked out a day at the end of December and the dealership had agreed to provide us with a rental car from Hertz since they could not loan us one, but all rental car dealerships accept Visa debit cards. They needed to be able to keep the vehicle long enough to do all the repairs, and we werent able to take a day off work to wait for it. When my boyfriend brought the vehicle back late at night December 30th, I noticed the next day three problems with the tires on the car. 1. There was a nail in the sidewall, 2. There was a chunk missing out of the sidewall, 3. There was a gash in the sidewall. I took pictures of this on December 31, 2016. I still have the pictures on my phone dated as such. I made three calls to Planet Honda that day about this. I left two voice messages and I spoke with a receptionist who promised to get my message to someone. No one called. I drove the vehicle to a local tire place where we pulled the nail out. The tire never went flat. Because I do not drive on highways and my boyfriend was not able to take off work, and because life got very busy (house search and move), I never got my call returned about the tires and I never followed up with Planet Honda. Fed up with Planet Honda, I did have the warranty transferred to Lehigh Valley Honda in February of 2017 and scheduled my first recommended service visit there in April 2017 and they rotated the tires--so the ones with the issues were now on the back instead of the front. It turns out the outstanding issues I had with the vehicle all fall back on the dealership that sold it to me. (not enough space to submit full review).
Certified Honda Purchase Wow !
I was looking for a used certified car and came across a great deal from Planet Honda which met my price point and it was made really special by Jamie and Erick. Erick was specially helpful in explaining all the bits and pieces and was super cool to deal with. I noticed a small scratch on the paint which he gladly offered to get me setup with a touch up paint :) Overall a satisfying exerience !
Manny's the Best!!!!
This was the best car buying experience I ever had. Manny and Bob exceeded my expectations beyond belief. I have told so many people what a great job they did in taking care of me. The first. Car I brought had an issue but they did everything to get me in the right car that I felt comfortable, safe and happy with. I can't thank you all enough!!! Planet Honda will forever be my choice to shop at when that time comes again. If this SUV lives up to its reputation it might be a while before I'm back though, but you can bet I'll be back. 👍🏽👍🏽😊. Do not lease from Planet Honda
Do not lease a car from them! We paid out of pocket for crossbars and CRV for our lease. After 3 years, we went to return our lease. They were supposed to give us our crossbars and starter back. they refused to do it. They have no scruples. We have leased and bought cars from them for the past 10 years. You would think they would appreciate our business but in the end they look out for themselves. We called Honda and spoke to Amber in the Escalation Dept in Irving Texas, she said she could not help us. She said its the dealer not them. When you return the lease, they offer a service by SGS capital to inspect your car. Good luck in trying to get an appointment with them. We called weeks before the car was due. They said they didnt have anything until the day before the car was due. They said we would get a call within 2 business days to get something sooner. NO ONE called. I tried to call them for 2 days, Phone lines were down! We were finally left to having the car inspected right before it was due. NO one cares. We have to pay a $400 turn in fee which is a bs fee as you all know. Plus they kept $600 worth of crossbars and starter. I will be filing with the BBB. Buyer Beware!

I went to planet Honda last week because I needed an upgrade from my 02 civic. Taylor Ervin took me around the lot a few times picking my brain on what would be a nice a fit for me, considering my financial situation. He answered all the questions I had with great knowledge, and I was very satisfied with his attention. His manager Jaime, his manager, is also a great guy who helped facilitated the car buying process. I drove off the lot in a '13 Acura tlx knowing I got a great deal. Highly recommend the place and I highly recommend Taylor as a salesperson.
