onNEVER & I mean NEVER go here or any Napelton auto to purchase a vehicle it was the WORST decision I ever made!!! I purchased a vehicle and not even 30 days of having the vehicle I had to take the vehicle in for service. I was given a filthy loaner car with no windshield fluid and needed an oil change. Two days later they called to tell me that something happened with my vehicle on their watch and that it will cost approximately $1100 to fix it (issues totally unrelated to service order)because I didn’t purchase the extended warranty it’s on me even though it did not happen on my watch. Can you say PISSED 😡!Ryan in service was no help Gary and service was no help also the general manager Jeff was [non-permissible content removed]! Please don’t waste your hard earned money or time. I will be calling the BBB.

Outstanding service

onStopped in for a tire pressure check. Turned out I picked up a nail. Not only did they help me resolve that issue but noticed I was behind on my maintenance and was able to do that while I was there as well. The staff is so friendly and they treat me like they’re own. Ahlysha went above and beyond and even got me a ride to the mall so I didn’t have to wait there.

onI bought a car yesterday and worked with Mike Fisher. It was truly a great experience. Mike was awesome! I traded in an older car and he was fair and honest from the start. No hassle at all and he presented a fair deal the first time. The rest of the paperwork went fast and was a simple process. Staff was very professional, and efficient. I will definitely go back to see Mike next time I need a vehicle.

I told her what features we were looking for as a growing family, and she was able to steer us in the right direction in deciding on the perfect vehicle. Although we did not ultimately decide to purchase a vehicle from Napletons, she was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the entire experience, including finance! onHi Geoff, Let me start by saying your service department is the cleanest quietest garage I have ever been in. Your waiting area is comfortable and refreshment used to be good and easily accessible. Every mechanic has been very "nice". Check in people at service desk are very "nice". I tell Greg or Irv or the other check in people what the problem I would like checked into is and it is never written up. Once Irv added a concern, wind noise, after I asked him to add it to the service sheet after service was complete.My car does not run better after service is performed. The problems I've asked to be looked into never go away. This past visit I made an appointment, was on time for said appointment, explained to Greg and online, what problems I was having and wanted checked out, joked about farm smell when traveling in Wisconsin, (Greg asked if I need cabin filter replaced.) regular scheduled maintenanceoil change asked that recall concerning brakes be looked into check out why brakes squeaking badly, if related to recall. Greg said no as recall is because corrosion to lines or the like. coolant reservoir going bone dry ding in windshield need fixed before warranty expire What I asked to be checked, aside from regular expensive service, is not on service sheet. Greg explained, after I called and spoke to Chad, to enquire about why these where not looked into, that mechanic did not experience brake squeak when test driving, during the break line fluid exchange, but it is not written up. Coolant reservoir going dry? Nothing anywhere that this problem was investigated. In the past I have expressed concern with excessive wind noise coming from windshield, ask winter 2011, summer and fall 2012 and winter 2013, was told mechanic did not hear anything, my passengers are the people who remark on this problem, but it can be heard from the driver seat, there seems to be no sealing gasket around windshield. Heater blowing a/c air at times and no heat to foot area. Asked in winter of 2011. Never checked or serviced or explained Loose jostling noise coming from area by glove box. Asked about this at same visits as windshield noise, again this is passengers who comment on the noise, but it can be heard from the driver seat. Idle speed too high, car idles around 1/2rpm at rest, if I take my foot off brake car will shoot forward. Not to mention gas consumption up because of this. Was told that this is normal, although other vehicles I have driven or ridden in do not experience this problem. (My idle now 1rpm at rest so is worse after this service visit.) I was told these problems were checked out each time and nothing was found, but nothing written. After service done summer 2012 Irv said that the jostling noise would need time because dash would need taken apart to find noise. My car does not run better after service is performed. Visit before this, was told car ready went outside waited 10 min. and no car, went back inside waited another 10-15min no car until requested manager. This was last year when I was traveling to and from Children's hospital for my child's cancer treatments. Visit before the above visit, after service take car out of garage there is thump thump thud from rear tire, mechanic "forgot" something or to do something when tires rotated. Visit before the above visit, 2hrs just for oil change no other service. Problems that may or may not be from service dept. windshield wiper which was replaced at Napleton flipped around while wiper working and I was driving 45mph in driving rain. bumper almost fall off, no little clips attaching bumper to car body, mechanic came out with misc. parts container search for correct clips did not have enough for all clip openings, so I still only have 1/3 of clips connecting bumper to car. none of these were written up. The problems I've asked to be looked into never go away. I also did not get the $5.00 off for making online appt. My car does not run better after service is performed. What can you do to correct this ongoing issue right now? Very unhappy customer! Mary C.

Not focused on customer satisfaction

onDo not have high expectations of customer service if you go to this dealership. The staff is professional, and I have no gripes about the quality of their products, but they certainly do not incur any incremental effort or cost or to improve the customer's experience. In my case, they sold me a pre-owned car with only a valet key. While I believe they should have ordered the standard keys as soon as this vehicle hit their lot (who is going to pay over $20,000 for a car without the right keys?), they offered to send me the keys at their expense. I was OK with that an bought the car. A few days later, I was told that I would have to return to the dealership -- a 90 minute drive each way -- to have them programmed. They refused to send the keys to my local dealership to have them programmed there. Because the return trip was such a hassle for me, I spoke at least three times with the manager to coordinate when I would arrive...and it still took the service department two hours to program the keys. Bottom line -- I would absolutely NOT recommend Napleton Subaru.

onNot only do they give you free coffee or bottled water and a comfortable waiting room, there are tempting new cars to visit and sit in, a friendly service staff, and the mechanics take great care of our car. They wash it and deliver it sparkling clean and ready for more miles of fabulous Subaru driving.

onWe searched far and wide for just the right Outback in 2012 (we wanted Sky Blue) and tried another dealer that we did not like as well. They did the typical bait and switch so we walked out. The atmosphere at Napleton was so different - friendly and straightforward. No dickering - this is the price (we were using Consumer Reports to help us) and no problem getting the right color. The only issue was putting the wrong initial on my sales slip but no one has questioned that it's not really my car so hopefully that's no big deal. We have had our Outback serviced regularly there and it's also a great service place.
