2018 Dodge Charger, indigo blue
We were very happy with the dealership and our salesman Bryan Garner. We told him what we wanted and he produced it immediately. He didn’t try any hard sales tactics and did a very great job of getting us the deal we wanted. I would recommend him to anyone.
Service manager paired my wife's phone for hands free use. oil was changed and tires were rotated 2 recall notices were taken care of vehicle was washed and wait was reasonable
Basic oil change. Fast service. No issues. Thanks
Oliver C Joseph
The best place to buy your next car or jeep and truck. The staff is always friendly and helpful, like Dan Slaughter who helped us. Come in and have a look at the great deals they have. Thanks OCJ I love my new jeep.
Oliver C Joseph (Nick, Roderick, Harley, Tony)
This was the best place to buy a car. These gentleman were great and made the whole process super easy and made it enjoyable! I will be back in the future to buy another vehicle!!!
Had a new key/ key fob programmed on 19 Feb 2018 but did not work correctly
Service from Jennifer was great as was service from other gentleman working with Jennifer on 22 Feb 2018. I requested to talk to the service manager about lack of QA on vehicle and my displeasure with having to go back to have issue fixed. Discussion with service manager was not good and will never have my vehicle serviced by this dealership again. Also will never become a return purchase for them.
"Express Lane" is not express
I took my truck to get a oil change, and tire rotation for the first time to Oliver Joseph. I strongly recommend you use a different dealership or oil change company if you're in a hurry. I was tied up @ the dealership for 2 hours. I could've done the service myself in that amount of time. On top of that, it was $90 for said service. Won't be back.
A nice experience
I dread the car buying process, but my experience with the Oliver C. Joseph dealership was quite pleasant. It is a great group of people who make it obvious that they want you to leave happy. And I did!
Dodge Ram Overhaul
I'm currently still in the process of having my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 overhauled. Just what I think so far.... I've been lied to and jerked around on price on parts. Originally, my overhaul was supposed to begin on Monday 10/23. and that it would be done on 10/27. I was told the previous week that the day they would start on the morning of 10/23. When I called that Monday morning, I was told the technician was "cleaning the bays and he was pulling it in as we speak." However, when I stopped in at the shop at 4PM on Monday, my truck was STILL sitting outside. Now I'm a Service Manager at Fabick CAT myself so I know how it works and I get it. But, I DO NOT LIE TO MY CUSTOMERS! I understand that the service department is undermanned and the shop is real busy but that doesn't warrant telling the customer a lie about the truck coming into the shop. At that point, my truck had already been sitting there for a full 7 days waiting to be worked on so my patience is wearing thin. The second time I felt like someone was trying to pull a fast one on me is regarding the parts pricing. I can't understand how Oliver C Joseph stays in business with how things are going. Here is what happened to me... Deciding I was getting an overhaul, I knew I wanted it done right. I decided that I would go ahead and replace the turbo. I let the service advisor know and he added it to the quote. The price on the quote for the turbo was $2,172.50. Before I got the quote, I looked around on the internet and found that I could get an OEM turbo all over the internet for about $1,300. So, I decided to call the parts department at OCJ as John Doe and get a quote on a turbo. He quoted me $1,975.00. Now explain to me why I would be getting charged more for the turbo because I'm getting an overhaul. Something isn't right about that. Additionally, I was quoted $3,000 for a set of pistons and rings for the truck. I called Cummins directly and bout an OEM set of 6 pistons with rings and overnight shipping for $1,092. RIDICULOUS! I get there is a price markup but that's almost 200%, let's get real. The third area for concern for me is the overhaul itself. I admit, I'm a particular guy and I like things done the right way. When I went to the shop on 10/26 to check progress, I noticed that my AC compressor is laying on the bench with open lines. Now if you know anything about maintenance and AC systems, you would know that the slightest amount of dirt or moisture gets into the system, you can count on having to replace some components. Now it seems that if that isn't done right, what else won't be done right? Are torque specs and assembly lube going to be used on the reassembly? I hope so. The last area of concern is how hard it is to get a hold of anyone in the service department. I've called 8 times over the period of 6 hours and couldn't get anyone to pick up a phone. That is TERRIBLE customer service. I think Ricky, the Service Advisor, has done a good job so far with the exception of the lie he told me bout when my truck was coming in the shop. I can certainly tell he's overwhelmed and has a lot on his plate. Jim, the technician, I think is a good tech. He is certainly knowledgeable which is why I don't understand how he missed capping of my AC components. To be honest, at this point, I would not recommend anyone going to Oliver C Joseph for any kind of service. With this being a $13,000 job, I would expect Mike, the service manager, to be more involved. Especially since you're so short handed. I'm not too confident in his ability to maintain good customer service. Hopefully the reassembly of my truck goes a little smoother and it gets completed by the second deadline. I wish I would have read the reviews online before I decided to go to OCJ. It tells the story. This company has some serious management concerns. They need someone to step up and show some leadership and turn things around for them.
Ricky was wonderful getting my Jeep in for a service and providing me with transportation while I waited. The service was completed before the time I was given for pick up. Great service goes a long way! Great job!
New car purchase
Knew what I wanted when I went in. Test drove the vehicle I wanted & got right down to business. Was in & out in 2 hours. Very fast and painless. Wasn't pressured into something I didn't want. Very satisfied with the vehicle I purchased!
First time buyer
Had a wonderful experience at Oliver C. Joseph. I was able to get the car I wanted at a great price. Dan was great to work with and was very helpful. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
Horrible customer service, wouldn't purchase from this dealer again
Horrible customer service from the salesman all the way up to the general manager. Once they get their sale, they will go out of their way to avoid you and to help you as little as possible. Dan will also play up this big deal about how the dealership really goes out of their way to help police, fire, and military but it is really just a sales tactic to make you think you are getting a better deal which isn't true. There are a lot of good reviews on here because at the dealership the salesman will make you do your review there right in front of them before you even purchase a vehicle.
2017 Dodge graqnd Caravan
1.0 star rating 4/23/2017 I had mapped out a deal with a salesman named Kelly but no Manager was free to complete the Deal. As I don't live near this dealership I made an appointment in advance to complete our deal as his price seemed fair. Somehow in one weeks time the Van I was looking at was sold, but He said he had a very like one and we could use the same dealer discounts on it. Somehow a Cleaning and stain removing BS package was added at the cost of 1,495 which I did not ask for nor did I want. He also low balled my trade in 4,000 for a 2011 Town & Country with most of the extras. He did discount the Cleaning and Stain removal program to 1,295 but would not remove it despite my repeating several times I did not want this. I don't know why I went through with this sale, but am not happy at all and will never do business with this dealership again!
Our sales men Dan Slaughter was very helpful and went over our expectations he worked hard to get us the vehicle we wanted. He is a very good salesmen hands down he gave EXCELLENT customer service
Terrible Sales Manager
Me and my wife entered this store in hopes of trading in her 1 year old jeep for a new model. I told the salesman what we owed and what our price range was and he acted like it was manageable so he ran the numbers. When he came back with the payment plan from the sales manager, it was much higher than we said we could do which was no big deal, he told us to come back in a few months with some more to put down and we could make it work. Before leaving, he told us that the sales manager, Jason Vice, wanted to speak with us just as a professional courtesy. The manager marched over to us and instantly started questioning us as to "WHY WE WERE WASTING HIS TIME!?" As if his job is not to run numbers and make sales. He said "Why are you making us jump through hoops for a vehicle that you knew you were not going to be able to afford?" I told him that HIS salesman had told us that our target payment was reachable to begin with.. and we did not even test drive the vehicle. We were there maybe 25 minutes. He stormed away and said we better just leave. The original salesman apologized to us and said he "had no idea why that guy is such an [non-permissible content removed]" and gave us the man's name, since he didn't bother introducing himself. My wife ran out of the store in tears. I wrote emails to both the store owner AND the store manage and never got a response. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVERY RECEIVED FROM ANY BUSINESS!
Jennifer Service Dept
I wanted to say thank you again to Jennifer. The experience I had yesterday after needing a battery replaced was exceptional. She is always very friendly and nice each time I have been to the service dept. This time was great!
Had a simple oil change and they had another company wash our car, they took our antena ball off and lost it. No one knows anything about it. Plus the lady at the info desk said she would call back. No phone call six days later.
Waited 3.5 hours
My wife recently brought our Truck in for a scheduled oil change for which she was waiting. The service guy came out and said it needed the rear differential repaired for a leak and an alignment. When she asked how much additional wait time she was told 45 minutes to an hour. 3 and 1/2 hours later she left. They kept telling her 15 more minutes or it would be done soon. Yet when I called and talked to the service manager it was magically ready to go 10 minutes later. She had to use 3 hours of vacation time when it shouldn't have required any. This is not the first time we have had this happen. I would suggest in the future that unless its a safety issue your team set up a follow on appointment to accomplish any additional work. Also if it does need to be done then because of safety, that the person sitting there waiting is given priority in the garage. Needless to say we were very unhappy and dis-satisfied.
First off, we love our new car. But our experience was less than happy. We are very upset that we brought in our pre-approval letter with a great rate from the bank of our choosing. Next thing we know we are told they don't need that paper since they would find it anyways with out this paper. Then they came back and said we weren't approved for the full amount and got quoted a super high interest rate. We were shocked that he came back with that answer. So, I showed him our pre-approval letter with the codes he needed and he said it doesn't matter. Then he said he was able to work on getting us still a higher rate than what we had brought with us with some bank that we had never even heard of. Afterwards I called our bank and said what had happened and come to find out that the dealership never used our pre-approval rate. They called their after hours loan department and didn't even try to get it settled. We are currently working on getting our financing re-financed to the bank we originally chose but this hassle that we now have to go through after being lied to at the dealership is maddening.
