Came for routine maintenance on my 2011 MKZ and left with a 2018 MKC

I was definitely not in the market for a new car when I brought my 2011 in for it's regularly scheduled maintenance. As I was checking in my Car, Fred Fullbright came out and asked if was there for the air bag replacement and I told him I was there for maintenance. He asked if I would mind he he came to talk to me a little later while I was waiting and I said he could. About 20 minutes later Fred showed up and invited me to his office and I explained I was not interested in purchasing a new vehicle as I loved my MKZ. He politely asked again if we could just meet to talk so I agreed. As you can see from the title above, Fred did a great job giving me facts I understood and a deal I couldn't refuse. Because Fred was clear in his presentation and not pushing me in any way to make the change and because he came across as sincere, honest and informed about my personal financial situation, when the numbers lined up, I did the deal. The sale was made because of Fred-period. P.S. I do love the car, so far.

Service on my MKC

Continue to have odor problems with my vehicle. While I was there one of the service people said "You'll have that problem when You but a used vehicle! That doesn't help my confidence. I picked the MKC up and immediately had a issue with cigar odors. The I returned it with that complaint and all that was done was a deodorization on the vehicle. Now 6 months later I still have that problem. WHY? Was it a used vehicle?

I leased an MKZ Hybrid(2016) and the experience at Park's was really a pleasure. Every person that was involved -the sales lady, her manager, and the finance guy were friendly, and helpful. Broken Promise

I bought a new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid a little over a year ago with the promise of two years free maintenance. On a new car, basically that means oil changes and tire rotations. Since the car is a hybrid, service is called for every 7500 miles. I brought in the car for it 22,500 mile service recently and was told it would be my last one at no charge. I protested saying I had two years or 30000 miles before I'd have to start paying for maintenance and was told of the New Policy. That doesn't work with me.... I expect to have the dealership honor their promise and provide one more service at the 30,000 mile point or at the two year anniversary, which ever comes first. I am very disappointed in Parks Lincoln of Tampa.
