Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Service was fast and the waiting area is very nice. I was quoted about a two hour wait and ended up leaving in half that time.

The Mechanic, Edgar Molina .. was honest, cordial. Checked over my brakes, found all in order and explained why I incorrectly thought I had a problem (sound caused by wet brakes).

Asked for best price of this and one more dealer on new VW. These guys came in $1200 higher and then shipped the car I test drove to the other dealer to have them sell it to me...I could not believe it was same precise car but $1200 cheaper. Why not just match deal? Salesman was cool, but sales manager was typical of this industry. Total fake.

Sold a car right out from under me

I was working with a salesman named Garfield and had arranged to test drive a Golf GTI S on Friday but got too late in the day and rescheduled it for Saturday. I called him an hour before the test drive to reconfirm I was coming and my interest in buying the car. When I got there he told me he just sold the car and the people were sitting in his office. Then he said here work with this other salesman and walked away. What a sorry excuse for a dealership - the Sales Manager knew what was going on and never came out to apologize or offer to help. I will never give them my business and caution others to stay away.

Bad service department

Never buy a car form here or have it serviced here. I've had many bad experiences. I purchased my 2014 Passat new from Kuhn. The car has been in for oil changes and service over the course of a year. After removing my dashboard to replace the heater core they put it together wrong, broken plastic and in some places, left huge pieces of plastic not connected. Parts of the dash board are scratched and damaged still to this day. During the oil changes they would forget to fill up the add blue tank. They cracked the plastic for the add blue tank also when they did fill it up. During service visits they often would say nothing is wrong with the vehicle. I would have to bring it back multiple times. They weren't really interested in taking time to diagnose the problem. I left this dealership with a year old car leaking antifreeze with broken / scratched dash board. I finally called Volkswagen corporate and had another dealership resolve my coolant leak. I hope the owner of Kuhn Honda Volkswagen reads this personally.

Terrible Service

Terrible service!!! I'm not sure what happened at Kuhn, but their service has gone downhill in a hurry. I had used them multiple times in the past few years and the service was average at best. Lately it has been absolutely awful. A few weeks ago I brought my car in for service. I needed an oil change and the sunroof fixed. I waited for 4 hours. When they gave me the keys back I decided to ask how everything went. That's when they told me they didn't do any service. I wonder... if I didn't ask, would they have let me just walk out thinking everything was done??? So what did they do for 4 hours? Who knows. The oil was never changed and the sunroof was not fixed. They said they needed more time. So I brought the car back a few weeks later. This time I left the car for two days. When it was picked up, the oil was changed. Hooray! But how about the sunroof? Nope. In fact they made it worse. Instead of fixing it, they damaged it even more. They never told me. We noticed it was in worse condition as soon as we drove it off the lot. I called to complain. I spoke to the "service director" who just made excuses. Two days later I found out I was changed for the rent-a-car. They charged me for some insurance that I never signed up for. I called the rent-a-car desk and the "manager" sounded like he never worked in the service industry before. I asked him to produce something with my signature on it that showed I agreed to $50 insurance on the rent-a-car. He could not. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I will never do business with Kuhn ever again.

first car buying experience

I can't say enough great things about the Kuhn team. I was greeted at the door and immediately felt welcomed. My sales guy, Chris took the time to listen to what I needed, how much I wanted to pay and I didn't have to deal with haggling back and forth. I came close to the time that they wetter closing but it mage no difference. They took their time with me and work out every detail with no rush. Thank you all for making my first car buying experience a success!! I would refer anyone to them!!

He demonstrated very good listening skills to fine out what I was looking for and this was a time saver for me. Josh was friendly and courteous, everything was setup and ready to go when I got there which makes things much easier. Purchased VW Jetta in Oct 2010. After negotiating the sale price I asked what other fees get tacked onto the final price. I was told tax, dealer fee and title. However, that was NOT all the fees that were added onto the final price. I even questioned the extra fees and no one could answer exactly what the fees were nor would they remove them from the so called "deal". This was very disappointing and almost caused me to walk out. Retrospectively, I should have based on what happened with the pricing and what happened next. Additionally once all the paperwork was completed in the finance office I was told it would be 10-15 minutes longer and to wait in the showroom. That 10-15 minutes turned into almost two ADDITIONAL hours. Another purchaser was even taken into the finance room during my "10-15 minute wait" and her deal took forever as well. I was and still am very disappointed at both the UNNECESSARY increased price and the time it took to take delivery. One would think that buying a new car from a dealership would be an exciting experience but for me, I was quite angry when I took delivery and drove off. I would not / should not have made the purchase at Kuhn VW. The "deal" was no better than I could have gotten elsewhere and the same car can be found at many dealerships. I am still very angry at paying more than what I was told the price would be! What I really want to do is bring the car back, cancel the deal, then purchase the same car at another dealership where my purchase would be more appreciated. One bright spot in all this was Tony Climer who was an excellent salesman; grade = A. He was the only person who treated me fairly during the purchase/delivery experience.

Poor Customer Service

Anyone have a manager hang up on them? Will NEVER do business with VW. I value customer service over anything. Bad CS to begin with can only mean worse service to follow. Was having a good experience looking for a new Passat Wagon at Kuhn VW. 2-weeks ago I went in and test drove one. I was very excited about the car but wanted it in different interior and exterior color. My sales man said no problem he would work on finding it. We made an appt for me to come back in 2-weeks on a Sat to see my "perfect" car. I received a call Fri from new person confirming the appt. I said yes, if they had my car ;) That's when it started going down hill because he described the car I test drove and didn't want. I asked about the car in the color I wanted and he said he'd call me back. No one called back. Sat morning I called the original sales man. He told me my car was in Jacksonville. I asked, "Why it was there?" I was expecting to buy it that day. (Hhmm why hadn't he called earlier to tell me it wasn't in instead of wasting my planned time on Sat?) He asked if he should have it brought in...uhm yeah if you want me to buy it? Right? Said he had to talk to his manager and would call back. He called back and said they needed me to say I was definitely going to buy the car and give a $500 deposit. Well, I don't know if I'm going to buy the car...I need to look at this new car and test drive it again. I'm conservative and not going to be bullied. No, I'm not going to give them $500 for them to bring in a car I'm thinking about buying. He said if it were up to him he'd bring in the car but his manager is requiring the deposit. I said have the manager call me. The manager called and was on the offensive right away. He explained that he didn't want 2 wagons on the lot and needed to know I was going to buy it. I tried to talk to him. Explain that I was the one pursuing the car and that should show my willingness to buy. I didn't want to go to another dealer since they are block away from me and the next closest is 40 min away. I was NOT giving them $500 of my $$ when they didn't know when the car would come in. Doesn't make sense. Then, tried to explain about the Sales man's promise to bring in "perfect" car no problem. He cut me off in mid-sentence and I stopped him and asked him not to cut me off. Manager said. "I don't have to deal with this" and HUNG UP! Haven't heard back from anyone at dealership. So it was not a mistake. Do NOT do business with Kuhn VW. They are rude and lie. I am going to tell all my friends and customers about this experience. NOTE: In process of writing to the owner. Also, I have now talked to others and found that sometimes they do ask for a deposit when they are "building" the perfect car. But it is something that can be waved. Hhm, I also had an offer from another dealership to bring the car to my house for me to look at (Orlando & I'm in Tampa). That's great CS! But I'm at the point now that VW has left a sour taste that I don't even want to think about it anymore
