Beware !!!!

First and foremost Luther is a great sales rep, very humble and takes his time with you and actually has your best interest in mind. I actually wanted a Honda but choose Mazda because of how Luther kept in contact with me. Everything went okay with the buy.. when it came to finance I'll give them a 5/10, the guy will try to hustle you if you don't have knowledge. After you buy your car, drive off the lot.. it's now a month since my purchase, I bought a brand new car, it's weird the paint melted and I brought it in, the Manager Ron made me buy a paint pen that Luther paid for (thanks Luther) BUT the paint pen they gave me wasn't the right color and only ruined my car more! Waited a week came back cause that's when they told me to come back in case it didn't work out (which the manager was sure it wouldn't!) and now they're charging me either $70 for a crap job, or $400 to actually fix a 1 inch damage on my car that wasn't my fault. I will not be recommending this place to friends or family because they're [non-permissible content removed], will do anything to make the sell and everything to dry your pockets. Beware!

What a great experience I had! Honestly, and based on several other experiences, I didn't quite believe that Andrew Taylor was going to deliver on everything he promised. We agreed on the price by phone/e-mail a couple of days earlier, I provided all my personal info in advance and I requested to spend the minimum possible time at the dealership (I hate to spend hours there!). As agreed I went to the dealership at 10.30am on a Saturday and probably by 11.30am I was in my new car heading home! All the paperwork was ready for me to be signed and the car was already washed waiting for me. I will definitely recommend Andrew to others looking for a smooth experience buying a new car.

Great Honest Service

I worked with Danny Barranco and he took plenty of time to allow me a very thorough test drive of two different trims of the car I wanted. He was clear and honest about everything and seemed to be more interested in my experience than making a sale. I only worked with him and don't know how similar the rest of the sales team is, but from my experience, I was (and still am) very pleased with my purchase. Also of note, there are two Mazda dealers that are much closer to where I live but I went out of my way to buy from Mazda of North Miami.

WORST!!!!!!!!!

absolutely horrible. i had been working over phone and email with Albert, a sales guy there, for over 1 week. i informed him the entire week what my credit was exactly so i could get a realistic offer. WE agreed on a price and everything and i came in. First he advised me the day i wanted to come in was his day off but he would make an exception and come in anyway. When i got there, it did not seem like his day of. He had several people to attend to before me. Finally sat down, test drove the car we had spoke about, i decided to go with a different car and we worked out the numbers. I gave him a copy of my credit score, and kept telling him we had a deal if it was based on my credit shown. He left, a second guy came in, never met him. he said he could not get me those numbers, that Albert didnt know the price of the car. SO now i worked out a NEW deal with the second guy, higher in price now, and again i showed him my credit. They said we had a deal now we just had to run the credit to make sure it was what i said it was and we had a deal. they ran my credit, and a 3rd guy came in. he said my credit was better than what my info shows, but they could not offer that deal anymore. He informed me the 2 other guys didn't know my credit or they forgot???!!!! REALLY. i was sooo upset. Albert had know my credit for over a week, we informed him about it when we were there, and 2 the second guy. I told him the guys knew this all along what my credit was, and we worked our a deal based on that. His respond: ITS NOT MY FAULT YOUR CREDIT IS WHERE IS AT. wow....thats how you talk to a customer. So now they wasted my time and theirs , plus they ran my credit that not went even lower, FOR NOTHING. they are [non-permissible content removed], and they keep switching guys so you keep getting new info from another guys and your deal you worked on for 2-3 hours go to S*** and they change the numbers again once they run your credit. i would never go their if you finally got your credit up and trying to make a deal without cosigner. !!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE.

Dishonest people

I just wanted to talk about my encounter with the service people of North Miami Mazda for the later part of December to early January. My experience dealing with the service is a nightmare I will never forget. It's so funny how my sales person Javier was so trustworthy and left a positive impression that when my son needed to buy his first car we went to him again (not Jamaal) but because my encounter with you and what you represent, I will never buy or encourage anyone to buy anything from north Miami Mazda ever again. I am 43 years old and I have never met or dealt with any dishonest individuals has both of you before. Alex your credibility went out of the door when you made that phony call to my phone acting like you did not know I was at the store because I know Nelson already told you. Second thing you did was when you look into my face and told me that you spoke my son regarding the issues with my car knowing it's false. I guess if you were able to retrieve outgoing phone calls you would have heard that Nelson already told me the lies of how he explained to Jamaal alone and no one was there. I understand that it's a supervisor's job to protect his staff but maybe next time you should double check somethings before you approach the customer and make yourself appear like [non-permissible content removed]. Now Nelson, I guess it's easy to say anything on the phone to customers because after all it will always be their words against your especially knowing that at North Miami Mazda only incoming phone calls are recorded and not outgoing per your supervisor. ( If that is in fact true, which I believe it was just another one of Alex's lies, that is something your company need to change because it's just stupid) Nelson we both know that you lies to my son and when I call to complain you told me what you though I wanted to hear because you never expected me to take you up on the offer. You told me $125 and you also know that .You lied to me but I forgive you . I take it you are in a desperate situation and you may feel that you need to do whatever needed to make it. My advise to you is don't sell you soul for money , it's really not worth it. It's always better to have your reputation , remember money cannot buy that. I end 2016 with Mazda stealing $143 from me and started 2017 with Mazda stealing $214 . Please know that it will not make me any worst, my children will still eat everyday and it will not make your company any better. I will be around to see when you are exposed for the fraudulent phone calls and paper work you are doing. Customer not only want a good price , they also want businesses that they can trust. Mazda of North Miami cannot be trusted that is why Alex, it was worth my integrity to pay you the $214 to have your parts removed from my car than pay $192 to keep one motor. There is something call principles and integrity. Maybe you guys need to reread the motto posted on your wall. I am thinking it has been there so long it's now a fixture instead of a motto. I will never do any form of business with your company again. To think I only came to your store because of 2 recalls on my car. You really need to do better. Thanks for reading.

Great Deal, Service, no hassles

I always hated going to a dealer to buy or lease a new car. It seems they always suck you into their little head games designed to squeeze as much money from you that they can with no regard for your well being. That all changed when I got my new car this week from Danny Barranco from Mazda of North Miami. I started my search by requesting lease quotes on a new Mazda 3 from 3 different dealers. Danny was the most responsive of the 3 dealers and gave me the best deal on exactly what I wanted with no pressure and no hassles. He was even able to accommodate the special circumstances with my trade-in. Once I made the decision to make the deal, it only took about 40 mintues at the dealer to sign the paperwork. When I went to pick up my new car, he was there waiting for me and went through how to operate all the controls of this great car. He even connected my phone to the car's system and brought in all my contacts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danny to anyone who wants a great deal with no hassles at all. Thanks Danny!

My name is Adriana Essenfeld. I am writing this to expose Mazda of North Miami’s terrible business ethics. Please make sure you read the full story, SHARE TO HELP ME SPREAD THE WORD, and make sure you never make a single deal with this dealership. It’s not worth the psychological torture I went through. BEWARE: After reading about this issue I found out that this is something that Mazda of North Miami does A LOT! You buy or lease a car from them, they call you a few days later and tell you that they want their car back or demand you to make higher payments. Their tactic is that they make you go to the dealership with an amazing offer. The dealer tells the customer that the deal is a go, the customer signs the contract with the agreed-to terms and the salesperson allows the customer to drive away with the car even though the dealership still owns the vehicle (they don’t tell you this). The catch is that the dealership does not get the finance company information until after you are gone, if they discover that either the payoff amount is higher than what they though or that you might not get financed after all for bad credit, they will ask you to make higher payments or they will retract the deal. Of course, once you wasted time and energy, and after you have that amazing new car parked in your lot, you are more likely to accept any deal even at a higher price than what was initially agreed upon. They put a clause in your contract called the “Buyer’s Order” to protect themselves in case you decide not to return the car and keep it. ----- A year and a half ago, I decided to take out a lease on a Mazda 3. The lease was supposed to last 36 months, which meant I still had a year and a half more to go. Last week, my husband got several calls by a lady called Piccolina who was inviting me to go to the dealership and return my car. She was offering in exchange a new Mazda 3, which was basically an upgrade on the same model but for a better deal. Since we all know that when things are too good to be true there is usually something sketchy about it, I asked her what was the catch. She insisted there was no catch, that they only needed the car because there is high demand of used cars in Louisiana due to the flooding so they are making me that “one-time unique offer” for my used Mazda in order to send it to the needy families. On Saturday I was at a barbecue with my Canadian family, who I rarely see and who were leaving Miami the next morning, and I got another call from Piccolina, who said for the last time that I was going to miss on the deal. She said I needed to go that same Saturday in order to make the exchange. I decided to leave all the cool stuff I was doing to go do the most boring thing in the world with the hopes that they actually did had good faith and wanted the best for their client. As I arrived, a lady called Yeyca introduced herself to me as the sales person. She asked me for my social security, ran some numbers, and came back with a sticky note with the “new amazing deal”, which was to get the Mazda Limited for “only” $5 more a month. I was clearly not being offered less money for a better deal, I had to sign up for a NEW 3-year lease, and I had to pay for the plate number transfer and make a down payment at the dealership. I obviously got upset for the false marketing that led me to drive 45 minutes and leave what I was doing. I said I was not interested, that I had no issues with my car whatsoever, and that the only reason why I went there was because of the “better price”, if not, I was definitely not interested. She went back to the Manager called Arnold. After hours of negotiations, Arnold came to me to make a final offer: He offers me to pay the same amount (not a dime less) for the upgraded new car. Of course, I just had to sign up for 3 more years. I accepted and made the deal. Anyways who does not want a brand new car? He was going to pay off my car to the finance company (Chase Bank) and that was it. That day I spent 4 hours at the dealership. They made me sign a bunch of contracts and agreements; I had to transfer my stuff from a car to the other one at 90 degrees, I had to change the plate, remove the stickers, and so on and so on. It was a process that took forever. I finished the process at 6pm and was mentally and physically exhausted… but at least I had my new car! (the white one from the picture below) This morning (2 days later) I get a call from one of the Managers, the same one who manipulated me to get into this deal (which again, I never wanted!). He says that they made a mistake and got the wrong number for the payoff amount and that it was actually $4,000 higher than what they though. I had two options: They would give me back my car and take the other one, or increase my lease by $70 a month. They asked me to please bring back the new car today or if not I would suffer the financial consequences, which would be a charge for $4,000. As I hang up the phone I immediately started crying. How could I be blamed for any of this? Why would I, out of everyone involved, had to suffer for the consequences? They made the mistake and they should be the ones assuming the cost for it. I mean, first they pursue me to get into a deal I did not look for through false advertising, then they make me loose time and money by keeping me for hours in the dealership, and after every contract has been signed they threaten me and take away from me what they practically made me purchase. They sent someone to pick up the car and instead of offering compensation for their mistake, they sent my car back in terrible conditions, filled with garbage in the trunk and in the seats, dirty, and with a terrible smell. I called several times and the only apology I received, which was actually more like a mock, was from their Sales Manager called Ruben. Ruben said that he is a very nice person for deciding to give me back my car in return instead of just charging me for the extra money. He kept putting the blame on the operations system or finance company and never offered anything for the damage. I will not take any legal action because it’s not worth of my time and energy, but I feel like no one should be deceit by these people again. They have no respect or manners and they treated me terribly. I myself am a company owner, and if we ever make an honest mistake with our clients, we are the ones that assume the cost, not them. Last, make sure you don't buy this car because is NO LONGER NEW. It's was USED by me and my dog Jango. VIN# is 3MZBM1U7XGM318139. SHARE!!! Hopefully, this will help car buyers or leasers out there get some respect. Great Sales Person

I had been searching for the right car at the right price for about a month. Then I saw a vehicle listed on TrueCar, I submitted a quote request and within minutes I had an email and a call. The price on the Mazda CX-5 was right were I wanted it. This was a Saturday, after having spent a day at CarMax and then at HGreg looking at several cars and just leaving - not too thrilled with the sales guy at either location. One was too pushy and the other had no interest in selling. I sent Mara Batista an email saying we would be at the Mazda No. Miami dealer on Sunday at 11 am. We got there super early and had the opportunity to check out the cars on the lot before anyone got there. Instead of the one I originally saw, I feel in love with another CX-5. It was the grand touring model, and the "soul red" I wanted and the prices was within range. Mara was on time (rare for Miami to be on time) and we went on a test drive. Both my husband and I took a spin. Then we got to the negotiation and I have to say the whole process was easy, no b.s., on fees, none of the usual "dealer tactics" you would expect. We got financing directly with Mazda at a better than expected rate and our monthly payments were well within the range we had agreed we needed to fit our finances. Mara and Ron (I think was the name of the finance manager) worked hard on the numbers and while I really didnt expect to walk out with a car that day and I did. One things truly thought was great, was that Mara was extremely knowledgeable about all the features of the car and very patiently when over each one, even had me practice right there with her. They filled up the tank, washed the car and away I went with my Soul Red CX-5 Grand Touring. Thanks to the awesome team at Mazda of North Miami, especially Mara Batista!
