Fantastic Transition!

by MazdaXFuture on 03/29/2017

A great all-around experience! We were looking for a seven seater and Gonzalo walked us through all the details and got us in the CX-9 we wanted. Additionally, another associate walked us through the tech features of the vehicle, this might not be a necessity for everyone but it was just good business practice.

Service department is a scam

by david4tennis on 10/06/2015

After have my 2015 Mazda 6 for 5 months, I had first scheduled oil change. A few weeks before my appointment I ran over some road debris and cut the side wall of my tire. The tire to be replaced. I called Mazda service center Wednesday morning about 8:30 and got a service advisors voice mail. I left a message explaining I needed a new tire and wanted to do my oil change at the same time. I ask about cost of the tire and requested a call back. By about 2 no one had returned the call. I called back and spoke to some one in the service department and made a Saturday appointment for a new tire and oil change. I ask to transferred to a service advisor. I got another voice mail and left another message about needing a new tire and its cost. No returned call Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. I get to Gunther on Saturday morning. I just so happened it was one of the advisors I had left a message with. He apologized, took my work order and ask it I wanted the tires rotated and filled with nitrogen. He explained it would extend the life of the tired. I believe the cost was $59.00. I agreed, I was told it would be about and hour and a half. About an 1 hour and 20 minutes they called my back. They didn't have a tire to fit my car, even though in both messages I told them the make, model and package level. I had a choice of leaving the car until Monday or bring it back Monday and to it all again. They offered to give me ride home but I'd have to wait for the courtesy van to return. Hours pass and no van. During this time I'm trying to find a tire elsewhere. Eventually they called me to the service area and told me they'd located a tire. I was from one of their many 6's that were in the garage. The advisor told me the would do the tire rotation and nitrogen at no cost because of the wait. Finally after 3 hours and 45 minutes my car was ready. When I get in my car I noticed the stem valves hadn't been changed from black to green, meaning they were nitrogen filled. I drove away and went back to verify they had been nitrogen filled. I was assured they were but they were out of green caps. I got home and noticed the replaced tire was in the same position (back left) as the damaged tire. I thought if they had rotated the tires it would have been in a different position. I called the service advisor and again got his voice mail. I left a message asking him to return my call. No call back for the 3rd time. I knew something wasn't right. I started looking at my tires and notice the locking lug nuts on the rims. I had multiple picture of my car and started looking at them. When I zoomed in on the wheels the locking lug nuts in the pictures were all in the same position in relationship to the Mazda emblem in the center of the rim with the exception of the tire that I know was replaced. I even had pictures of the car sitting on the lot the day I bought it. I called them back and got bounced around until I got the service manager. I told him about the pictures and he apologized. He ask me to give him some time and he'd find out what happened. The next day he calls back and said they couldn't verify where or who created the error or just flat out lied. I had to take the car back a few weeks later for the rotation and nitrogen. While I was there I ask to speak to the sales manager Ozzie. The lady at the service deck told him I was there and wanted to speak to a manager. After waiting 45 minutes I had to leave because I was tired of waiting. I left my number and the lady in customer service said she would pass it on and tell him what it was about. I never received a call but what would I expect. 4 messages to 3 different people. Don't trust Gunther Mazda they're just another shady South Florida business. I've already warned 2 friend who recently purchased Mazdas not to trust Gunther. Anybody who ask me about my car I gladly tell them Mazda makes a great car but don't buy it at Gunther Mazda.

don't trust anyone there

by lazaroc on 12/17/2014

The worst dealer I have ever worked with. worked with nick for several moths on a deal even ran application gave me a written quote for a lease thru email on a specific vehicle. after several months he convinces me to go after work with my wife my 2 and 7 year old to go to sign the paper work. once I get there he tells me Managers who approved it left and Mike the manager said it can't be done. I asked to speak with Mike the rudest most inconsiderate person I have ever met. If you need a new vehicle go see Albert or hermis at kia next door it the complete opposite even though its part of Gunther. I am very happy with my kia has double the features for alot less

Very bad experince.

by Mimi1976 on 08/27/2014

I went to this dealer for an used car and they didn't want to negotiate. They lower $300, after many hours. Then began the trade in and they do not recognize the real value, let me mention that CarMax did. After another few hours they offer me lease a new car, however I have tell them of my intention to buy. At the end I feel they push me and confused me with so many things that at the end I didn't feel joy in my new vehicle. This dealer is not flexible - reasonable or respectful at all. At the end Financial dept is the worst part. Their attitude and unrespectfull treatment is really out of this human world.

Good Purchasing Experience

by leo_miami on 07/29/2014

Quoted via internet thru the Amex true car quote and it was honored . No issues at the financial dept. Even though I took the 0% interest. Was In and out in a reasonable time without the "talk to the mgr. dance" The internet sales manager Jody had everything ready when I arrived.

Very dissapointed

by TheBosGuy on 05/23/2013

After spending a considerable amount with one salesman, when we finally got to the table to negotiate, the offer came in and they were not willing to bend an inch, and my salesman did not go to bat for me at all. I just got up and walked out..It was a very take it or leave it attitude...So I left it... They must have so much business that they don't if you buy or not.

They sell cars with frame damage, they do not inspect their cars. I bought a car from them, They told me it was never in an accident. When I found out 3 months later that it was. There was fake welding, markers of the parts that were bent and welded. The frame is still broken. They lied to me and will lie to you.

My First Pleasant Car Buying Experience

by carbuff_sfl on 07/12/2011

I can't even begin to describe the level of shock I felt when I actually drive off the lot of a car dealership with a feeling that it was actually a pleasant experience. When I decided which car I wanted, I sent out quote requests to 8 dealers in my area with what I felt was a rediculously low price expecting a long negotiation process before I would get a price I was willing to accept. To my surprise I got a quote from them within hours that was within $500 of my offer right from the start from Jodi Weisfeld, one of their internet managers. I requested a ton of details and information from her because I was actually weary that they were trying to doop me. She responded quickly to every request and gave me everything I asked for including a full out the door price breakdown in writing. I have never been able to get any dealer to give such a detailed quote in writing before. Jodi delivered on everything she promised and even the finance guy was friendly and helpful even though we were not financing the vehicle. They were even willing to let us drive the car home with only a down payment while I cleared the rest of my financing. Needless to say I was very pleased with the experience and highly recommend Jodi if you are in the market for a Mazda.

Never Buy from Gunther

by momoney9 on 03/17/2011

Gunther Sales Managers are the worst in the business, they claim to be the number 1 dealer in the SouthEast, and it is all lies, I have friends within the Mazda Corporation and after this incident I found out that Gunther Mazda is rated among the lowest in the area. I got a quote from several dealers, since Gunther was the closest to me I decided to reply to the Internet Manager and was able to get him within $100 dollars of my best quoted deal, I went in with my Mother since this was a vehicle for her, the Internet Manager had already left so another Sales Person was trying to assist me, over an hour later after going back and forth which i found ridiculous, finally he brought his General Sales Manager Ossie Ferrufino, who right off, was condescending, short, and would barelly allow a word in, in a summary he did not honor a written quote from his Internet Manager, he played dumb and tried to bully me into believing the price was much higher and that it was a different vehicle... At the end I said I refused to be lied to and that I will come back to speak to the Internet Manager, he said "He reports to me and nothing he can do, I have the last say, so I will be here when you come crawling back" I when back up to him and told him "Crawling back? Who do you think you are talking to? I refuse to buy from you if it was the last dealer left." and walked away, after we got home my mom then told me he heard him say "dont ever come back here you Idiots!" and she didnt tell me so I wouldnt react, which he is lucky I didnt hear him cause I am a peaceful man but i wouldnt have minded punching his teeth in after insulting me and my mother that way.... since then I just purchased the exact same vehicle significantly lower than what even the Internet Manager quoted me at Gunther, which tells me this dealer is a [violative content deleted] trying to make more money off people by claiming they are the number 1 and lowest priced in the area, and being insulting about it... LIES LIES LIES LIES.... I would recommend not buying from Gunther, you may be their next victim.

Unprofessional Sales Tactics

by rosy_u on 12/27/2010

The weekend prior to Christmas I contacted all the local Mazda dealers asking for their best price on a 2011Mazda 3 4dr HB in Pearl White, automatic with a moonroof and a Bose sound system. The pricing of each of the dealers was not disclosed when initial contact was made in order to be fair to all. The salesperson at Gunther, Mr. Loszynski, gave us a good price, but not the BEST price. We emailed and even called and asked if that was their best price and that was it. LEHMAN Mazda salesperson, Michael Furey, gave us the BEST PRICE ($900 less than Gunther). Lehman didn't have the Pearl White car in stock, but said they would get it from a local dealer which is normal practice and good working relationship between dealers. However, when Gunther realized that"we" were getting the car from Lehman, they refused to release the car (which we already had VIN number identified for) and emailed us trying to get us to get the car from them. This was very unprofessional and in my opinion, Gunther tried to bully us into going to their dealer and paying their price. Their tactic failed because LEHMAN found our car in Naples and drove it down next day keeping their word and lowest price. THANK YOU LEHMAN,,,, never buying from GUNTHER!!!!!!

Great place to buy...

by pguzman on 10/18/2010

Although the concessionaire was some distance from where I live, it was worth the trip because I was treated very well, as in other Dealership, but its bid was the best. Similarly, the extra effort they made to close the sale was nice. Took sometime the final process in finance but always ready to find the best option. In short, a good place to buy a car.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

by agosto on 09/24/2010

We were very happy when we bought our Mazda3 with Willy W.(great guy, internet sales dept.) back in Oct 2008. I would definitely buy a car form him 100 times again. NOT so much though with the service. IT takes forever even an oil change, the employees are for the most part not friendly adn it always takes at least 30'' to 60'' more time of what they said it will take. But what happened to us this week was over the top. WE received a letter from MAZDA about a power steering recall for our car, and my wife experience loosing power on the steering wheel 2 times before. She freaked out when that happened but fortunately nothing happened and she was by herself. Now this letter confirms that there is a problem and there where many accidents because of this. We have a 6 month old baby, our first baby, and he has his car seat on the MAZDA 3. The letter states that they can't fix every car now and that we will be informed in the future about the fix, on a second letter. I called the dealer immediately..(I can't have my 6 month-old baby on such an unreliable car...) to tell them that my wife experienced the problem and I was concern about it, asking if I was possible at all to fix it now, that is without waiting, since we had experience the problem and considering that we have a YOUNG BABY!!! Well nobody on the phone gave CLEAR directions as to what to do, neither the receptionist nor personnel from service. Finally a lady told me to bring the car, in relation to the RECALL, so they can check it and "maybe you have to leave it for the weekend because we don't have all the parts". So I set an appointment for the next day: friday, september 24 @ 2pm. Dealer is not close to my house, it takes me 45'' to get there. Upon arrival, a manager asked me if I had an appointment and what for. I explain to him and he said: "we are not fixing any on this problem until december, all we know is what you have on the letter"..I replied: "well...how I am supposed to trust this car until then, particularly with my baby..AND why in the world you make me waste 3 to 4 hr of my busy working time on a weekday going there for nothing. He replied: " all I can do for you is check a code..if there is code I can call MAZDA (?) if there is no code I can't do anything..I asked: "what code are you talking about, can you explain and elaborate in plain english?" he replied: well, we have no parts, we can't fix it until december, I can check for A CODE now if you want...and tell your wife that the car can be driven, tell her to check a VIDEO (!) on the mazda website that tells you what to do. !!!" Then he proceeded to check the code, without explaining to me what that was..and said: "there is no code, I can't do anything, tell your wife to watch the video..thanks" OMG! I came back home frustrated, upset and profusely angry about my experience and when my wife asked me about the car and the issue, I breathed and told her: " SWEETHEART DON'T WORRY just check on mazda.com a video that will tell you what to do in case you loose control of the steering wheel again, while traveling with our 6 month old baby, there were many accidents in regards to this recall but trust MAZDA, THEY ARE THERE FOR US
