smoke and mirrors
wish I could give this dealership a review that was less than 1 Star, but it wasn't possible. I bought a used truck from this dealership. When I bought it, it was covered in snow after a recent snow storm. The sales rep that I was working with raved about how his dealership takes care of the vehicles they take in on trades. Beings that the interior of the car was immaculate, I figured they had taken care of the truck and the outside would be in good shape as well. NOT THE CASE! I get the truck home and washed up and the exterior cleaned from the snow to find a ton of rust, and large paint chips all the way down to the metal. Additionally, after about a month, the transmission was shifting real hard in the lower gears. This dealership claims to give a 90 day/3,000 mile warranty. NOT THE CASE! I took the truck back and was given a service appointment for 3 weeks later, and they told me to make sure I didn't drive the vehicle over the 3000 miles from what it had when I bought it. As far as the paint goes, they won't do a single thing about it. All of this came straight from the General Manager, who was a complete [non-permissible content removed]. I strongly advise anyone to stay away from this dealership.
Terrible Customer Service
Sil-Terhar Mazda has had our vehicle now for almost a month... We brought it in for recall (two of them) work and were told it would take a couple days to do. They ended up finding a problem when they had everything taken apart and needed to "order a part from Japan." They told us they "had no idea when the part would arrive." Mazda is covering a rental car for us - which of course we've now had for almost a month... I finally had to escalate the issue to Mazda USA - who confirmed the part was coming from Japan. We were told a date for completion - which is now another 5 days overdue... It's been extremely crazy working with the service "manager" Geoff.. He's been terrible about updating, explaining what to expect and communicating in general. The service "director" Molly hasn't once reached out to us to apologize, discuss the issues, etc. I'm getting ready to call Mazda USA again to complain given they are so overdue in getting us our vehicle back. Boo to these guys! We worked with Gateway/Shortline Mazda for years before moving away from Denver and they were so professional. They knew us, seemed to care an were always very professional in communicating work, issues, etc.. We'll be taking our car back to Shortline in the future.
WOW! Quick and pleasant Mazda purchase
We had done our research and spoken with several other Mazda dealers in the area before contacting Sill Terhar. We were in search of a dealer who made things easy to understand and offered transparency with their quotes. We requested a quote on a CX-5 Grand Touring base model via their website late in the afternoon and Bill Zimmerer responded promptly with a straightforward quote on a few of the cars he had to offer, and continued the rest of the negotiations with the same prompt and honest approach. So refreshing! He didn't have exactly what we wanted for the interior color, but was able to locate one at another dealer. Within one day we were driving off their lot in the exact car we wanted, for the price, % rate and trade we wanted. That never happens! No shell game of hidden numbers and hard sell tactics forcing sacrifices for every inch of perceived ground gained in the negotiations. Kelly Frank, the finance and sales manager was impeccably professional, while keeping the transaction fun and quick. Both Bill and Kelly showed us why this dealership is a class act from top to bottom. Bill spent a significant amount of time giving a very thorough tutorial inside the car itself. My previous car was 10 years old, and technology has changed significantly since then, so I really appreciated the attention to detail here. If you're looking for a dealership steeped in integrity, Sill Terhar is it. I would highly recommend them if you're in the market for a Mazda vehicle. I wish I had more cars to buy because it truly was the most pleasant car buying experience to date.
Great Service and Customer Service
Ali and Mitch are so helpful and give such good customer service I wouldn't think of using anyone else for my service.
Having Ford Edge service while test driving Volvo XC90
The associate that helped with getting my vehicle checked in for an oil change, tire rotation, and checks of fluids and filters was very helpful. While the car was being serviced, we walked to the Volvo portion of Sill-Terhar for a test drive of the new XC90. When I stepped out of the vehicle, my cell phone rang to tell me my car was completed and ready to be picked up. Very prompt and efficient service and the best dealership experience I have had the pleasure of using.
5 stars for Mitch Ross & Sill-TerHar Quick Lane!
Quick Lane Manager Mitch Ross was AMAZING. He really went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I had a tire blow and they towed my car to Sill-Terhar Quick Lane. Mitch remembered me from about 8 months ago when I was last in. It was a late on Thursday just before closing, and the tire I needed wasn't in stock. I had to rent a car for $50/day and was afraid I'd need it for 5 or 6 days (it was just before Labor Day weekend). Mitch scrambled to get me the tire I needed by 4:30 pm the next day, and even gave me a ride from Avis when I dropped off my rental. It made him late for dinner but he did it with a smile. He really made me feel like a valued customer.
The staff is continually helpful and we keep coming get back because of them. Thanks!!!
Got it done
Rick was very helpful and informative. It was great to get my 2nd key fob actually programmed this time and he was nice to add that to the service order the morning I dropped off the car for the other work. You may want to mention to the other service advisors that discussing other customers loudly across several counter spaces is not very professional. Rick did not engage in the comments between the two on either side of us....I don't need to know the name of a customer who has neglected to return a rental car after an extended period of time. I am sure you would agree. Glad you are so busy..but it was disappointing to have such a long wait for an available appt and was lucky to get one in 10 days from my call.
Service is excellent
Always have a great experience working with Cameron, Chris, Del and Phil in service!
VERY helpful and friendly!!!!We will continue to have both the ford F150 and Ford F350 serviced at Quick Lane
I got my first oil change and had expected to be in California by now. I asked if I could still get my free oil change and with no hesitation they said yes. Thank you for an easy trip for me!
I was a little disappointed that I never got a phone call from them telling me what was wrong.Or that they were going to have it for a few days.
Honest & Customer Friendly!
As always, the staff and management at Sill-Terhar's Quick Lane are trustworthy and competent. I noticed a definite increase in turnaround time for customers which is a lovely bonus. My oil change took 30 minutes from start to finish! Also, while seated I overheard another customer come in for new tires. The manager, Mitch, was extremely straightforward that she had months of wear left on her tires before they actually NEEDED to be replaced. This is why I only take my car here, any other shop would have taken her money without mentioning. It is this sort of client-centered approach that makes me feel safe and confident that Sill-Terhar quick lane is the only shop I use.
Service and Sales Staff were a pleasure to work with. No complaints at all. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Thanks to Phil for getting my issue resolved in a timely manner.
Service was good. I traded in the Explorer at Sill Terhar Volvo. Nothing wrong with it, I just wanted an <2016 XC90. Thank you for your service while I owned the Explorer.
the oil change seemed to take quite a while but I suspect that the time was because the car was washed
Ford is not in the customer friendly camp
I really appreciated the effort that Silterhar put into repairing my vehicle, I hope it is finally fixed.the process with Ford took way too long. Unfortunately Ford does not stand behind their responsibility to it's customers when the defect is their responsibility to provide alternative transportation when their vehicles are " un- repairable" ( per Colorado law). I was told that Ford was not responsible to pay for alternative transportation even though the vehicle was covered by both the original factory warranty and the extended warranty at the time. I spoke to Jessica ( warranty clerk) to inform her that I am filing a small claim under Colorado statute on Magnisun Moss criteria to collect damages caused by the defect in the assembly of the vehicle and loss of use of transportation. Lastly Silterhars Del W has been great throughout the experience. The problem seemed to be the leadership of the "Field Service Engineer" who was supposed to have resolved the problem but was unavailable to be directly involved in the process much of the 2.5 months Silterhar had the vehicle. I feel Ford created the problem by not responding to repair the vehicle in a timely manner and now they have deferred their responsibility to resolve the factory defect in a timely manner and now the only recourse that I am left with is to seek costs and damages ( car rental fees) in Small Claims Court under Colorado Law. I have been informed that I also have the option to seek damages in Federal Court. Silterhar has been great but Ford is not worthy of my consideration in my next purchase ( incidentally I just purchased a non Ford vehicle due to my experiences with the repair of the defect in my 2013 Shelby Gt500) Thank you for the opportunity to express my dissatisfaction with Fords response to resolve warranty issues with their vehicles. Silterhar will receive my business as long as I own my Shelby for service work but Ford has lost future business as a result of their response to my request to be responsible for transportation while they " tried" to repair my vehicle intermittently and by telephone rather than having their " Engineer"resolve the problem directly, it should not have taken 2 plus months after 4 previous attempts to fix the vehicle before depriving me of transportation for many months.
Great people to work with
Jeff (salesman) and Bobby (finance) are both great assets to Sil-Terhar. Jeff was very helpful in getting me a vehicle I would be happy with, and I'm not always the easiest to please. Bobby is great in finance. I think the thing that stands out most about Bobby is that he is NOT a hard sell on extended stuff. Will definitely shop at Sil-Terhar in the future.
Great Service and Facilities
Visited to look at Explorers. Also checked out the Expeditions and the Navigators. We test drove an Explorer on the first visit and were well taken care of, even after the 8:00 PM closing time. Returned two days later to test drive a Navigator. Everyone was very patient while we decided which vehicle we really wanted. We ended up with the right color and the right vehicle, which was found at another dealership. The staff spent a great amount of time with us and everyone made us feel welcome. We were amazed at the amount of time taken when we picked up our new Navigator explaining all its features. It was a very satisfying experience.
Brought car in for oil change. Had $24 coupon, walked out after paying $42 for the oil change after fees and an $8 charge for 1 quart of oil. You need to be transparent in how you deal with customers.
