This is a WARNING to all buyers! Here is a run down of my experience at Tuttle. First of all i took my 16 year old daughter to purchase her first vehicle. This was supposed to be a memorable moment instead it has been nothing but a nightmare. I got to the Dealership and met Jorge the sales rep which came across so polite and very genuine. I end up purchasing a "Preowned Certified Vehicle" which was a 2014 Black Jeep Wrangler with a soft top at the time i was purchasing it they made promises after promises. Once the paperwork was complete no one went over the vehicle with my daughter. The handed the vehicle over to my daughter dirty and then said they will go over how to remove the top tomorrow. We drove the vehicle home and heard rattling noises, the brakes were acting up and each turn my daughter made we heard a loud noise. We came in the next day the salesperson wasn't there he was off, i asked if someone can take a look at the vehicle and take it for a drive to check about the noise, Service department asked me to leave it and they will check it out and give me a call. 4 days pass by and i called the dealership to find out the status of my vehicle, they advised nothing was wrong with the vehicle and it was ready to be picked up. I picked up my vehicle and when i received my invoice no where did it state that they inspected the brakes or the loud noise. I took the vehicle home and of course the brakes were acting up and the noise still there. I called again and emailed my sales person to advise him that i need the service department to take a look at the vehicle. I was asked to bring the vehicle back in and no one was available to help me. I waited 30 minutes before anyone can help and again asked if they can go for a test drive so that i can explain what noise and the brake issue. They asked me to leave my vehicle again and i did, this time 5 days and no response so i call in to check the status of my vehicle and was advised that the Brake Booster was replaced and they now resolved the issue. I am extremely disappointed that a dealership will put a vehicle on the lot for sale that is Certified Preowned and have the issues i had. Along with a broken brake light to top it off. Not only that the soft top is defective and had velcro on the top to secure the top from the sides. I pointed that out to the General Manager which said that he wished he can help me but he cannot because of the sales tax of the vehicle which was a lie that i found out when i contacted the Board of Equalization. His resolution was that the brake issue was fixed and they can peel it off the velcro from the soft top. WOW!! what wonderful service. This is unacceptable! not only did i purchase a vehicle and the very next day have issues i had my vehicle sitting in the service department for a total of 10 days and only owned the vehicle for 3 weeks. We didn't get to drive the vehicle without an issue. The manager didn't care to work with me to make things better instead he continued to make excuses. When i called the service department they hung up on me. I spoke again to the GM he advised me to take my jeep somewhere else to get it checked out. How would a mother feel safe purchasing a vehicle with brake issues and handing it over to her daughter? I have never in my life experienced this type of service and have ever had an issue purchasing a vehicle. I will be contacting the BBB and Department of DMV Investigation to report that a CPO was sold to me with Brake problems along with the Jeep Corporation. This is not how a dealership should operate nor treat their customers. I went to Tuttle Click to purchase a vehicle for my daughter and it resulted into a nightmare. I hope that everyone that reads my review will take my advise to save themselves from this type of situation. You cannot TRUST this company nor the people that work there. I will contact consumer affairs along with Jeep Corporate office to advise them on the service, the vehicle and file my complaints.
Beware of this dealership they will say anything to get you to sign!!!
On 9/22/15 I purchased a New 2015 Jeep from Tuttle-Click Irvine Chrysler Jeep Dodge. During the purchase negotiations and after discussing financing options with the fleet Manager Hugh Diamond we decided on a price and that we would lease the vehicle. We made it clear to Mr. Diamond that we may want to pay the vehicle off early and were assured there would be no issues. Of course it was all a lie something you would expect from a used car salesman I guess but not from a fleet manager of a large automotive group. Here are the issues that were promised or lied about that everyone who is thinking of buying a vehicle from any Tuttle Click dealership should be aware of. 1. I was told that I would be skipping my first payment and would not have a payment for 60 days. This was just a sale tool to get me to sign and was a complete lie. One week later I received my first payment statement from the finance company and it is due 10/22/15 30 days exactly after the date of purchase. 2. I made it clear to both Hugh and the finance manager that I may pay this off early and was assured that would not be an issue. I am now being told by Ally Bank that there are early payment penalties. Also I am being told on top of the penalties the only option is to pay all the lease and residual up front to pay off this vehicle? So instead of paying $40,500 the agreed upon price and thlees the $6800.00 down, plus $1000 Truecar Cash leaving a balance of $32,700 plus tax and fees? My payoff would be $43,000 thats $2,500 more than the negotiated price and I would lose all of my down payment? It is just simple sales fraud and lies and all buyers should beware of these guys. 3. Just to add insult to injury I was reviewing my sales contract trying to find where it discloses a pre-payment penalty or any of these lies and there in the fine print was a $595 dollar junk fee that was never discussed, agreed, or any part of the price negotiation? Even Trucar.com and all the other auto sites tell you this is a scam and junk fee? Once you are done and there is an issue no one will call you back? Beware of this entire group!
Definitely visit Tustin Tuttle Click Jeep Chrysler Dodge!
Abe was so nice and was willing to make something work. He's really too good as he talked me into a much nice vehicle than what I was originally looking for.
Jeep Liberty recall repair
Matthew was very courteous, professional, and helpful. My Jeep was one of many vehicles in for repair on a busy Labor Day weekend, but I never felt rushed or overlooked. Great team in the service department!
Key Replacment - an egregious rip off!!
When I bought my 2015 Jeep, I had great service and very positive feedback. My esteem for this dealership has since dropped tremendously. At the time purchase, the salesman mentioned that it would be about $70 for a replacement key. A little high (I thought) but understandable because of the embedded chip to prevent a thief from driving the car. Now that I need a replacement, I am being told its a minimum $200! After being bounced around on the phone when I called, I was told that the key was "very expensive" and the technician charges in excess of $100 per hr to program it. A call to other dealerships yielded the same $200 (though the tech time and key cost varied). That seems to be the agreed upon price across the board. I left a message to speak to a manager but have not received a return call to date. Further research shows that I can buy the key for about $20 online. All it needs is to be programmed (YouTube videos shows that it is not a complex operation, as the service rep claimed). I feel like any other service that requires physical labor within the vehicle (oil change, brakes, etc.) might justify higher cost but these are available at competitive rates elsewhere. The key is specialized item and not able to be duplicated by the average key making shop. This may dealers the incentive to charge this price because we are pretty much at their mercy. By the way, I was told that I was "lucky" because other models can be as high as $400" for replacement. Really? Losing a key is an unfortunate life event and stressful enough. The replacement should be a courtesy, not feel like a punishment or opportunistic gouging. Will I feel like taking my car there for servicing or recommend them to family. An emphatic No!!
I liked Arnold and the way he went about selling the Jeep Grand Cherokee to us. The car sells itself and Arnold's knowledge about the vehicles and soft sale style give a buyer everything they need to feel comfortable and make the purchase.
no pressure sale
Sales team was very helpful and friendly. No pressure sale. I was not rushed into a decision. Felt as though the whole team involved (George, Al, David, Tony & Brett) were there to help me make the best decision and have the best experience. Good energy between the guys made for a fun experience as well.
I went in for a re call on my jeep Jaime was awesome he took his time to explain the process and he kept me updated during the whole time I waited for my jeep this is the second time Jaime has helped me and both times I was very pleased with his service thank u Jaime
I liked my sales representative....Paul Manley. He was kind, helpful, not pushy at all, and just an all around pleasure to work with. He made the experience enjoyable and seamless. When we decided on the car....it did not take hours to do paperwork either! That was fantastic.
Everything. From the schedule for a quick appointment (same day), to the paperwork write-up, to order replacing parts, and complete repairing it on-time, the cashier, etc were all smooth and professional. Many thanks
Timely and Great Work
Great Customer Service, John was very helpful and they were accurate with the time it would take to complete my oil change. The three year oil change plan is a great deal, and gives me peace of mind that my Jeep will be taken care of.
Exceptional, honest service!
Without an appointment, I had a really great experience working with Rudy at Tuttle-Click Jeep yesterday. He was quick to summarize my needs/wants, get me in front of the select vehicles I wanted to check out, and we were able to find a car on the lot that I wanted to take home. Thereafter, we were able to put together a deal that leveraged a Price Promise special offer, and within 3 hours of walking into the store I was the owner of a beautiful new White Grand Cherokee. Rudy and his team made it a very low-stress trip to the dealership. Highly recommended!
everyone at Tustin dodge is super nice and easy to deal with. I love Tustin dodge. I want to especially thank the cashier girl, she is super sweet. kudos to her.
Right when I arrived at the dealership George Boyadjiev approached me and asked if I needed help. He showed me the Jeep I was interested and never did I feel pressured from him to make a decision right away. Once I decided which jeep I wanted we went inside and worked on the paper work and that's when I met Johnson King. Mr King was very polite and made sure I understood what was going on. I loved the way both of them treated me while I was at the Dealership. I had gone to several dealerships prior to going to Tustin and I was prepare for a "fight" and a bunch of negotiating but none of that was necessary with both Georgie and Johnson. I was very please with the overall visit and very happy with my purchase.
Very Happy with service
Jeff Capler stayed in touch with me. Then the mechanic stayed late Friday to finish my car, so it would be available to pick up Saturday. How awesome is that? Work was rushed through, everything works to my satisfaction
Salesman was great.
After shopping 4 different dealerships and being very unhappy dealing with high pressure salesman who had a lack of knowledge of their products. Alvaro Madrigal knew the product worked with me to keep in my budget and was the opposite of what I dealt with at all the other dealership.
Best Sales People Are At Tuttle-Click In Tustin
Sales person Rudy Olmos quickly addressed all of my concerns and questions; and even anticipated a few. He truly went above and beyond. I have recommended him to people at work already.
Jeff, svc adviser was helpful and added all the recall and other items of note and made sure the proper maintenance was done per my maintenance plan. I loved that I was able to communicate via text vs. phone/email
Love the Text Notifications
The service was quick. I also LOVED the fact that I was texted about the status of my car! That was quite convenient because I can't always answer a phone call!
Everyone from the moment I pulled in was incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and made trading in my lease extremely easy and pleasant. They made sure I knew all of my options and what was expected of me. I didn't feel pressured or nervous. It was the best experience at a car dealership I've ever had
Tuttle Click Chrysler Jeep Dealership
Eric in the service department waited on me quickly and had my car finished as promised. As usual, Kevin made a special effort to say hello to me - next time I buy a car, I will definitely buy it from him.
