Terrible Experience We Will Not Be Back

I was told the Kia Sportage I would be purchasing would be 495.00 more than the model I originally inquired about. The model was actually 1629.00 more. This was not explained prior to signing the finance paperwork. Neither was the 99.00 fee for nitrogen gas in the tires or the 139.00 service fee. I reviewed my prior sales contract, for other car purchases, the Service Fee was always included in the sales price. The finance manager did not review the sales or finance contracts line by line. This is something all of the other dealerships I have used have done in the past. I would advise against buying a car at Prestige Auto. We will definitely not be returning.

Where you’re treated like family

Prestige Kia is a beautiful dealership with many friendly staff. Although there are many dealerships in the Chippewa Valley, you will NEVER find staff that treat you like family, just as they do at Prestige Kia in Eau Claire WI. John is very intelligent about all makes and models of cars and your happiness is extremely important to him. Chase is one of the sweetest, most understanding guys I know. If you have not so good credit and maybe some negative equity in another car that you need out of with limited down payment funds, Chase can work some MAGIC!!! He is extremely good with numbers and goes above and beyond to make customers happy and to keep coming back. PRESTIGE KIA IS THE NUMBER ONE DEALERSHIP NATIONWIDE!!! Trust me...I have bought a lot of vehicles from many different dealerships and have never been treated been treated as good as prestige has treated me in my last three vechicle purchases.

What a amazing person!

I been looking for a car for a long time. Was just searching for that perfect car so I stopped at kia and this very nice gentleman name shue vang was very helpful. He may sure I find my perfect car and gave me the information I need to know . Very nice place, shue did a amazing job answering all my questions! Thank you so much for helping me! My first kia! I love it!

EXCEPTIONAL DEALERSHIP

My wife and I were looking to replace our 2014 Toyota Highlander. We stopped into Prestige Kia to look at a 2017 Kia Sorento SX. From the Test Drive to the closing of the deal, Isaac Mitchell did an excellent job. He even helped us clean out our Trade-In when we took possession of our new Serento. Great Salesmanship!! / Great Dealership!! Most importantly, we believed that we had agreed on a 15,000 mi/yr lease. When we got home and reviewed the lease agreement, it was noticed the lease agreement was for 12,000 mi/yr. We decided not to make an issue as there could have been some miscommunication on our part. A couple of days later, we received a call from Prestige Kia to inform us that there was a mistake in the paperwork, that the lease should have stated 15,000 mi/yr and they were sending someone out to our home with the corrected paperwork for us to sign. We signed those papers today. Thank You Prestige Kia !!! EXCEPTIONAL INTEGRITY !!!!!

Terrible rude service

I went in on Black Friday to check what my options are on my current lease on my Forte. I told the salesman I came in to just find out what my options were. I also told them that I could not go over what I was paying monthly. Before I knew it they had me trying to buy something $150 a month over what I could afford. Todd the manager was condescending and rude. Not my first experience with Todd and it will be my last. I've purchased cars at many dealers in Eau Claire and by far this dealership uses the most dishonest and high pressure sales tactics I've ever seen. They take advantage of people, plain and simple. Terrible day. I will let my lease run out and go to another dealership.

Great Experience

I went in near closing time to Prestige Kia in Eau Claire looking to just test drive a vehicle and get a feel for one. After talking with Amy Klaus and being taken through everything with such ease and professionalism, I went home with a new vehicle that night. Amy was very knowledgeable and was willing to work with me on every aspect. I am very happy with my purchase and my decision to go through Prestige Kia. She made buying my first "new/used" vehicle a pleasant experience. Thank you Amy and the team at Prestige Kia.

Poor service

I bought a 2015 200 off the lot. Two weeks in I started having problems with the tranny. I have been back 3 times in the last month for multiple issues with the vehicle. They are willing to do a trade in under their circumstances. It must be a brand new Kia and they will give me 5,000 less than what I bought it for on trade in, simply because I have owned the vehicle for a month so therefore it has depreciated in value, although its spent 50% of the time in the shop. I do not want or like the Kia models but they tell me this is my only option to get out of the POS they sold me. Do not buy from this company. They do not back their vehicles and do not give you anything in return. I travel 60 miles round trip to drop the car off and was never offered a gas card or nothing. They do not care about the customer, just wanting to make the money....

The Way Car Buying Should Be

I hate car buying. It is a miserable thing to have to do. But I recently purchased a Mitsubishi Mirage at Prestige and I was thrilled with the entire experience. Prestige treated me with class. They respected the budget I came in with and didn't try to pressure me into anything I didn't want. No gimmicks. No high pressure sales tactics. They listened and then delivered. This is a class act dealer and the only one I will ever use again or recommend to anyone. Want to have the best car buying experience ever? Try Prestige. I went through Chance Radle and enjoyed the way he went about getting the job done on my terms. Great guy. Great company.

Poor sales and service experience

We found a 2011 Kia Sorento that is a great car and that we continue to enjoy, but had very poor sales and service experiences after our purchase. When we went to pick our vehicle up, there was only one key. There was not a key fob or even a spare key. No one was willing to work with us on this in the least. I was told that a fob would cost between $200 and $300 and that would be completely up to me and at my own expense. The car had also not been cleaned. The lightly colored seats were still dirty, there were papers and things between and under the seats, and when we put down the drink holder in the back seat, it was dirty and sticky. When we purchased the vehicle we bought a 3 year service agreement after being told that they would then take care of most problems with the car. The first and only problem that we have experienced in the few months we have had it is the cruise control kicking off repeatedly on long drives. Along with this problem, the gas mileage has decreased. We took it in to get checked out and were told that they would do a diagnostic, but if they couldn't find the problem or get the car to kick out of cruise, we would be responsible for paying for the diagnostic and labor involved. Very disappointed. Have not felt "taken care of" at all.

My first Kia Experience

When I went to get a Chevy cruze, as my first car purchase, I found out that I don't have enough credit. But my dealer, Chance Radle, found a way to get me a good deal. As a first time Kia purchase, I was able to walk(drive) away with a 2015 Kia soul! I'm very happy with the car, and I like it more than the cruze that I had intended to have! Thank you Prestige!

Beware of Entering the Door

My fiance and I were beginning the process of looking for a car. We told the people we had ZERO intention of buying that day. Although the initial salesperson did have us test drive a car 1.5x our budget without telling the price, and then the sales manager tried adding useless add-ons both of those are things I would expect out of a car dealer. What was completely infuriating was when I found out they had run 14 hard credit checks on my and my fiance despite saying we had zero intention to buy. As a student I have 0 income so there is no reason I had to be checked at all, and some of the places that were checked for my fiance only give loans to people who are already members, so also illogical. Also although they bragged many times about their expensive and fancy computer program they use to compare prices they price estimate they gave us was above blue-book and above another dealer in the area. So be careful if you even walk in the door and start looking, the state of your credit report is in danger.

A bit uncomfortable

We were warned about this dealership being high pressure so were ready when we drove in. There were five or so salesmen sitting just outside the front door and one met us just as soon as we got out of our car. Wasn't, though, near as high pressure as I anticipated. We did though, have to wait a good half hour after giving my drivers license to the salesman before we could go on a test drive. I have no criminal history whatsoever, not even a speeding ticket, but we were sure treated like I did. Salesman went with us on the test drive, would not let us take it out ourselves, and directed us where we went on the test drive. Did not give my drivers license back until we were safely back in the dealership. They then offered us a "deal" on what we were driving when we indicated that the car made the cut for our final four. We passed at that time so we could discuss and do further research. Received a call the next day lopping $700 off if we bought "that day only." Only problem is that even with the $700 off the price was still above MSRP (not to mention TMV) as calculated on Edmunds. When I confronted the salesman about this - did I not include all the options, etc?, he did not argue that my figures were in error but started talking about his family, this month's sales quota and how he really needed to meet it. Made me feel that if I didn't buy the car his kids might have to eat hot dogs (or worse) all month. We were strongly considering the car but we were several thousand dollars apart on price. That was an ultimate deal breaker.

Cutthroat salesmanship at its worst. These people are [non-permissible content removed] out for blood; I understand we are all out to make a profit, but seriously, there are better ways to approach this. As a customer, I felt their ONLY interest was themselves and whether I will finance with them; I totally lost my trust in anything they had to offer and went to a different dealership where I received excellent customer service (Luther Bloomington Hyundai dealer in Minneapolis, MN).
