Great truck buying experience

by JLewis87 on 08/24/2017

The folks at Good Chevrolet were awesome and I got a great deal on my trade in and the new truck I bought. They were fast and efficient; Kass Schany in particular was awesome and made sure things were taken care of quickly and with ease. I highly recommend Good Chevrolet in Renton.

2016 Silverado 3500HD

by PuyallupJohn on 06/07/2017

Purchased pick up truck that I saw online and Johnny Lim did a great job representing Good Chevrolet, himself, and of course the truck. I think the pricing was great, staff was very sincere, and overall, I'd buy another vehicle there for sure.

"Oh Gosh, We Ran Into Josh ,Get Off Their Lot"

by varekai on 01/07/2016

Good Chevrolet used to be a good name in car dealerships! No more! I called and talked with a salesman (Josh) about a 1972 Nova for sale. I asked 2 questions for which he said he would find out for me. Question 1: Why no photos anywhere on all of the cars they were selling? 2. It says 100 miles on engine. Again, he said he didn't know the answers to both questions but would find out before we stopped by in the afternoon. We (My Son and I) showed up and asked for "Josh" waited 10 minutes...they do this to make you think they’re important. We went out to the car and I asked did you find my answers to the 2 questions? He said no. I didn't look into it. He said he didn't want the owner to be upset with the question as to why no engines photos are taken of the used cars for sale. I said no problem let me ask him and then all of a sudden the owner wasn't there. Number 2 question what about the 100 miles on the engine? All I have he said was an email. The car owner said it had 100 miles on it. I said, could he have put 10 miles or 100,000 miles or a million if he wanted? He said they don't check the cars when they sell them. They sure do if you want to trade one in..... As we were talking it took 2 guys to take the engine hood off. The 3rd guy to try effortlessly to get it started and "Josh" was with the frozen with the "Deer in the Headlights Mode” look on his face! Then Josh said they don't take pictures of the car’s engine so you have guess and come down in person and see for yourself! I asked, why did you say you would get me the answers to my 2 questions? He said, I just wanted to get you down here. I then said, "Don't play me for a fool Josh" I gave you respect and you failed on your promises. All of this and they are still trying to start the car. He said, "That's enough get off my lot"......I said thank for saving us additional wasted time! The car never started even on our way out. The paint was corrupted everywhere from no prep. This was hidden in the pictures as to get light on the defect. It always is different in person. No wonder they didn't have any information about the car is it was a piece of ^%&*. Josh lost control and started yelling, "GET OFF MY LOT" We did but I smiled and said "Thank you for your time and saving ours" We didn't expect the used car to be new, but we did think it would start. We chuckled as we were leaving hearing the cranking of the car and still no engine start. The only correct thing Josh did was to tell us to "Get off the Lot" Thanks Josh but we were already on our way out.......... Don’t take our word for it just go down to Good Chevrolet and see for yourself! The other sales people seemed very nice..... In any job site there always one and in this case it was “Josh”

GOOD = BAD

by jennifer_g1 on 06/20/2015

Everyone, this is a lesson in customer service. A simple apology and empathy for wasting someone's time was all I was looking for, what ever happened to "customers are #1"? DO NOT buy a car from GOOD Chevrolet in Renton, Wa!! I just had the worst customer service experience ever! I set up a deal on a Friday to come in Saturday and purchase a vehicle. Spent 2 hours cleaning my car for trade, went to my bank and got my funding all set up, was about to head to the dealer when I get a call that they sold it out from under me on Friday night! Not so much as a call to see if I wanted to come in to buy on Friday since they had another interested party? I understand the first come first serve policy, but even though I wasn't at the dealer yet I was first in line for this car. This place is why car dealerships get a bad name! But here is where it really gets good: I sent an email to their "Director" of e-commerce (Mike Nile) explaining my feelings about their customer service and he actually argued with me over the course of about 4 emails about how I have unrealistic expectations that their dealer would actually be able to call potential buys when the car they just made a deal on is getting sold out from under them. My favorite quote from Mr. Nile: "I understand you being upset, just do not blame us...cannot find any blame here" Unbelievable! Apparently GOOD customer service is not a focus for this dealer....

Not Good

by Rainbeau on 07/20/2013

I had a really bad experience with the used car sales manager at this dealer a few years ago (very high pressure). I would never return or recommend this dealer to anyone because of it.

Salesman Andy was very helpful

by gordon50 on 01/06/2013

I helped my daughter purchase a car when her current car had major engine repair. Trade in valuve was very fair, and new car costs based on TMV was excellent. Applying my GM Card earings was seamless and the loan officer found a rate better then my credit union.

I would highly recommend Good Chevrolet

by lynne20 on 04/19/2012

I had a very good experience when I bought my used Ford truck yesterday. Andre´ Davis was friendly and knowledgeable about the truck his sold to me. I did not feel pressured as I did at other dealerships. And they gave me a fair-in for my car. I would highly recommend Good Chevrolet and Andre´ to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle.

Pleasantly surprised again 2 years after buying my car

by steakluvr1 on 05/22/2009

I was pleasantly surprised throughout the entire process when I purchased my vehicle, and now I'm even happier than before. I bought my car over 2 years ago from them and a mileage problem came up on the CarFax report when I tried to trade it in at another dealership. The guys down at Good found out that mine was the actual vehicle (thank god) and that there was a fraud out there with the same VIN as mine. Needless to say they got the job done and got the other state to fix their records and now the CarFax report is correct! I'm thankful to say that the boys at good did a great job before and after the sale!

Beware!

by AllRacing on 02/04/2009

This dealership does not leave the window stickers on cars, the sales staff pretends (I hope they're only pretending anyways) to know nothing about the cars, and any question you ask will result in them having to go inside to check; all a constant ploy to get you inside. Likewise, any question about prices and financing is met with misguiding questions trying to get you to fill out a finance application, and they will never, EVER tell you their actual price on a vehicle. My girlfriend and I visited them last night and looked at two used cars, a Pontiac G6 and a Pontiac G8. Both cars had price stickers partially left on the windshields, but only the last 3 digits! When asked, we were quoted $21,999 for the G6 and $23,999 for the G8. Knowing those prices to be suspiciously high, we played along and let them try to run financing, which they immediately came back saying we'd need a downpayment and cosigner (no surprise, since we'd told them as much when we first started the process), and zero mention of coming down from those prices. As soon as I got home I looked up the cars and surprise surprise both were listed on AutoTrader. The G6 was listed at $16,998 and the G8 listed at $18,998! Beware this dealership, they will happily knowingly over-charge you by $5,000 or more!
