Buick Verano

by paulette6 on 04/21/2013

We worked with both Jedi and Dotan and the experience was very good. They knew all about the vechile and answered our questions. They offered their opions but were not pushy or difficult to work with. I felt they were interested in us, and getting us a good car at a reasonable price.

Dewey Griffin Subaru was easy to buy my new 2011 Outback. I highly recommend to anyone. Dewey Griffin sales or service becouse they went the extra step. I had moved to bellingham five years ago and found Dewey Griffin Subaru to service my car 2005 Outback, they took care of all my service needs. Everyone was friendly and i just felt like i was at home. I noticed that Subaru made a new look for the 2010 Outback i had to get it but they where all sold out, so i got a 2011 Outback. The salesman was great i'm so very happly.

I don't recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. I was given a good price on the phone by Dee and asked to come to Bellingham from Seattle (~90 miles). When I got there, price wasn't what was given to me on the phone. When questioned about it, the salesman didn't even apologize to me. His colleague also started to argue with me. Stay Away!

I just purchased a new subaru. I LOVE it. The salesman at dewey griffin was polite, informative and fast. I told him what I was looking for and the price I wanted to pay. He found almost the exact car and we came to a non pressured agreement. I even got him to give me free car washes. I would HIGHLY recommend buying a car there!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baited, switched and disrespected

Sent an email inquiring about a new G8 GT and got a phone call back the next day saying they had one in stock, not only that but the salesman on the phone told me that the manager was going to honor a deal on the car. When I asked about the deal he said that his manager wrote down that he would sell the car for either 27800 (pretty good price) or 29800 (average) but that he couldn't read the manager's handwriting to know which it was. I said great, and that I was in the area anyways, so I decided to stop by. When I finally arrive I shake hands with the salesman and he instantly sizes me up, (it was my day off, and I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt) that makes me feel like I'm being evaluated. I know that it's part of sales to analyze the customer, but please do it a little more discreetly. From there we talked about the car a little, I was at least glad to know he knew what he was talking about car-wise. But then the ball starts rolling, he shows me the paper his "manager" filled out and it's clearly 29800, no mistake about it. So I said it was a so-so price, but I was expecting closer to 27k. He then proceeds to lecture me/tell me off about how great of a deal this was and I could never find a better price. I said fair enough but that wasn't going to work for me so I began to make my way to the door. Rather than thank me or offer me something else the lecture continues, now turning very sour. I am told that if I want a cheap car, he has a 1995 subaru for $5000 that might work just fine. When I tell him I'll just go back across the street to check out the dodge's (mad at this point) he tells me if I want a cheap car that can't hold it's value then maybe I should. Hm. In my time of sales I know that of course you promote your own product, but there's nothing that can look worse then to trash someone else's. To control myself from blowing up I briskly walk away and don't even get an acknowledgement from him. Some experience.. I've had some bad salesmen so far in this car hunt, but none that were not only rude and disrespectful, but didn't even want to attempt in making or saving a sale. I simply cannot recommend anyone to this place.
