Sales Process a refreshing change!

I purchased a late model Subaru Outback a week ago. As a longtime dealership employee, the pricing strategy was refreshing and welcome. I was treated well, my trade was quickly appraised and a fair value given, and we had a smooth transaction. There were a couple small items on the vehicle found during the road test and delivery (needed a new battery and second key) but those items were quickly rectified. All in all, a very positive experience. The staff and management were respectful, straight shooting, and communicated well with me, before, during, and after the sale.

Friendly Service

The associate that helped me, Erica, was very friendly. Being a female sometimes dealing with cars, even just in service, can feel intimidating but Erica was welcoming and set me at ease. She talked to me as she worked through the quote and was great at communicating with me after the car was in for service, texting me with updates. Even once I picked up the car I didn't have windshield wiper fluid and she quickly found someone to come out and fill it up.

Matt is horrible and Autonation celebrates that

I initially worked with Matt Stockton on purchasing a new car. My experience was horrible. First of all, Matt is [non-permissible content removed]. You know the greasy car salesmen you see in movies that try to swindle you? That's Matt. First of all, he lied to my face saying that if I buy a new car, I have to get dent and appearance protection, or else I can't buy the car. Once I talked to the GM later, I found out this was a lie. Later on, Matt kept giving me calls after the purchase had already been made, a few times to ask if I want to buy a car (???), the last time to force me into getting a different vehicle than the one I order cause it was on the lot. I refused and he laughed at me saying that 9 out of 10 people would take this deal. Autonation took him off my case and I worked with Tim who is amazing and super nice and kind - this review is not for him or for Chris who also was amazing. This review is for the way Autonation operates. They celebrate sexists and I kept getting emails from Matt. Now, I just got my registration certificate, and Autonation perhaps thought it is funny to write Matt's name in pen on the top of my certificate. It's been exhausting, cause this all has been happening over the course of 6 months. Every time I email someone and state that this is not OK, they ignore my complaint in a very Seattle-like way (ignore it and wish me a great day). After coming to this country a year ago, I have never felt treated in a worse way and I feel like Autonation ignores the bad things their employees do and actually celebrate it.

The Incredible Service

Truly a one stop shop for both quality service and quality cars! Walked in and met Jim Stakkestad, within a few hours of paper work and good conversation, I rode home in a new to pre pre-owned Honda Civic that I truly love. Part of the incredible service was their direct link to my bank and loan office, and to Enterprise Car Rentals, allowing me to just leave the rental at the Auto Nation lot. Everything made incredibly easy! Their Incredible Service is like no other car dealings I have experienced.

incredibly bad communication

The service dept has terrible customer service. They don't answer the phone. They don't return phone messages. They are closed when their hours stated in their phone message said they would be open. (In desperation I visited in person to find out status of my vehicle.) They didn't start working on my vehicle until weeks after the appointment. Finally my vehicle was reassigned to a new service advisor, John Sells, who has been helpful.

Replacing key fob

Smooth, low pressure purchase with great car availability

On Thursday I found out my car that had been in an accident was totaled. I called many dealerships to set up test drives on Friday. Tim at Ford Bellevue responded very quickly and was able to set up a test drive for a Mach-e for Friday morning. We came in, did the test drive, which was very smooth and low pressure. After test driving several other cars we decided to buy one that afternoon. They were able to get through the purchase process reasonably quickly. Tim and everyone else at Ford Bellevue was very nice and helpful leading to a great purchase experience.

Ford F150 V8 Truck

I left the car at the dealership on Friday, got a call from my service person around 11:30 A.M. and he left me a message. I really was frustrated because I left multiple (3 or more) messages and never heard back. Eventually called back on the Tuesday the next week and finally got to him. Found out that he was holding the truck because a part was ordered (UAW strike is causing delay). I came in on Wednesday and picked up the truck until the part can be received from Ford. Not good response.

Came in ignorant to the Mustang Mach E, walked out with one

Jacob L was awesome. If you are a car person, Jacob will return in kind. Jacob knows cars and hears what you are saying. Came in with a buddy to look at the Mustang, Jacob appreciating my buddy and I were car guys, he brought us over to the Mach E and let us know what we might be missing and wow were we missing. Appreciate that the dealership also did not add dealer markup (except on Mustang Dark Horse). Friendly bunch not doing high pressure sales.

couldn't believe the Works costs $150 now. It was 50-60 in North Cal dealership w/ coupon but now the coupon will only reduce 10 bucks. The waiting area needs improvement. No other complains given this is the only dealership serves on Saturday which is better than other local Ford dealers.
