Not going here again!

by Will not return on 02/13/2024

Rude service people. Tried to charge for inspection that they said they would provide for the life of the vehicle since I bought it new there. Did not go over any of the service they did and just handed me a incomplete reicpt. Did not vacuum truck like they had done in 8 other inspections. Removed a vintage sticker from the wind shield and left it laying on the seat. After complaining to a manager they said they would contact me but never did. Service for a simple state inspection was very slow. Overall my experience there was so bad I will not return. The rudeness of my service person was so bad I was astounded.

My third Scion TC lease. Excellent treatment every time.

by albee39 on 12/24/2013

I just leased my third Scion from Casey Toyota. I've always been treated extremely well, the sales people always were courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to satisfy my needs. I have nothing but good words to say about this dealership and the way they conduct business.

Deceptive and Dishonest

by banditmg on 09/30/2013

Unfortunately I did buy a vehicle from this dealership. But I wanted to transfer the sale to another dealership and would have because sales personnel were not providing information on the vehicle I ordered. Dealership instead hid and manipulated the Toyota National Customer Service case information to complete sale and prevented moving sale against my wishes. This dealership also tried to deliver my vehicle without a piece of ordered equipment and I had to prove what was ordered with their own offer document at the time of final sales paperwork. I would never have completed sale with this dealership if all information was available to me. Dealership sales personnel made it seem like only taking something from off lot was what they wanted. On floor "Sales Managers" were rude and wanted to argue about how much they were doing for me, when they weren't doing anything except wanting me to take something now and not my order. Dealership will obviously do anything to complete sales and don't care what a customer wants. Best way to describe is the Clark Griswald car buying experience from the first Vacation movie. This dealership will give you what they want and don't care what the customer gets so long as you leave the lot with the vehicle.

Not rude, but bad policies

by G11 on 12/31/2012

I stopped by Casey Toyota to see if they had a FR-S with a manual. If it wasn't a manual, I didn't want to bother with a test drive. Long story short, they had one. When I asked to test drive it, the manager came out and asked me if I was prepared to buy it today. I answered no. I am looking at several cars and how can I answer a question like that for a car I have never driven? When I said no, he informed me that he couldn't let me take a test drive. He then informed me he was charging ~$800 over msrp. I told him not a chance. I thought Scion had no haggle pricing. He said as long as it is the advertised price, he can charge. This is apparently true, but leaves a bad taste in my mouth about Scion in general. I thought the point was that you couldn't haggle and they would price it fairly. He commented that he has about 5 people a day that want to come in and test drive this car. I completely understand this as it is a new car people are interested in... Isn't this the point of a car dealership? How is he ever going to sell a car he won't let anyone drive? I think I will be crossing this car off my list as I can't even drive one. Oh well. The manager wasn't personally rude per say, just bad policy and didn't care about my potential business one bit.

"very" dishonest dealership

by jc121 on 05/26/2012

I went in this to help my daughter buy a car. The selection went OK but they didn't honor the advertised interest rate and scammed us on the price. To add insult to injury they kept trying to add things we didn't need or want to the contract hoping we wouldn't notice and trying to get us to sign without telling us what they did. I finally lost my temper when they did that on the third or fourth attempt, Worst experience ever at a dealership. I told them I would never return and they didn't seem to care.

Dishonest

by carpool_mom on 07/29/2011

I purchased a used Dodge mini van from Casey Toyota. Before purchasing the van, I researched the VIN number in order to find out if the van had been in an accident. Nothing showed up. After purchase, and still under warranty, I noticed some chipping paint on the front left panel of my vehicle. I decided to have the van checked. I was told by a Dodge dealer that the van had been in an accident. When we confronted Casey Toyota about it, they said they could fix it for a fee!!! They didn't claim the accident and then wanted to charge me to fix a problem they didn't report? There was also a pizza type smell in the van when we purchased it and were told by the salesman that they would use the van to pick up pizza. Here we are a few years later and it still smells like pizza....yuck! When we purchased the van, we were also told by the salesman that we would get lifetime yearly inspections. We took the van in for the first time only to be told we weren't in the system for free inspections. We argued and got an inspection. This year we took the van to Holiday Chevrolet and they gave us a free inspection though we didn't purchase the car from them. Buyer beware!! Do not buy a car from Casey Toyota. My future business will go to Holiday Chevrolet!

Dishonest

by steve196 on 02/14/2009

I went through a rather pleasant process to find the vehicle I wanted. When we discussed trade-in things went weird. They gave me papers showing a false value for my vehicle. When I called them on it, the sales manager immediately started yelling for me to get out of his store and for someone to call the police. As I left he said "get in your crappy truck and leave". I am understating the situation to save space but it was [violative content deleted].

Excellent Customer Service and Value

by ckeating on 09/02/2007

The sales staff and process were extremely well done. I recently purchased a new Toyota Camry from Casey Toyota. I found the sales staff helpful but not pushy. The process was efficient and the price was very reasonable. The delivery of the car and the follow through in making sure that everything was to my satisfaction was exceptional. Glad that I selected this dealer. Would definately return based on their attention, reasonableness, and going the extra mile to make sure that all my needs were met. Toyota makes a great car, it was nice to have the dealer step up to the same level as the product they sell.
