Worst customer service I've ever seen - RUN!!
Written by ryan319444 on 06/08/2017
STOP & RUN!!!! I bought my first car from this dealership a few years ago when I was 18. It was a 2011 Mustang and I bought it for right what the KBB, NADA, Edmund's, said it should be sold for which was somewhere around 15k. Everything was fine and I went on my way. The car ran great had no issues. About a year or so ago when I started to look at trading it in I took it to CarMax who shared with me the car had been in 3 accidents in which the airbag deployed and much of the car was messed up.. for that reason they said they couldn't give me anything more than 6k for it.. even though real value was about 9k at that time. Fast forward a year later and I'm looking to trade in the car again. I tapped the back of someone so there now is a crack in the bumper and dent in the hood. I took it to a few body shops who want 1500-2000. Today I went to Jerry's Chevy the same place I bought the mustang from to look for a new vehicle. I found a blue 2017 blue Chevy Camaro which I went to look at. I figured since this place screwed me over so bad on selling me a car with 3 accidents, not disclosing any of them, they would be the best deal on getting some money out of it and not having so much negative equity. I met with a lady who said she was the sales manager.. she was very nice at first. They appraised my car in about 20 minutes and offered me $1,500. I told her that was ridiculous and I had been offered 6k a year ago and around 3k just a couple weeks prior (with the small damage on the front). She then began to defend her ridiculous offer and tell me that the car has been in multiple accidents where the air bags deployed, she told me the car was messed up so bad they had to put it in pieces on the tow truck. She said they could never sell this car and it would go straight to auction. Once she was done I asked her if she knew where the car was bought? Before she could answer I made her aware that her company sold me this car just a few years ago with all the accidents having already happened (except the small front damage). I told her that's really bad business to sell a car at FULL VALUE knowing all the accidents and then you tell me it would never be on your lot and telling me how destroyed it was.. She got defensive and started raising her voice telling me that she didn't personally sell me the vehicle and that she wouldn't put it on her lot. We talked for a little longer and couldn't agree on anything so I began to leave and asked if she minded if I keep a copy of the appraisal and she said "yeah I do, call me if you change your mind" so I couldn't even keep her appraisal and as I start to drive away she walks out behind me and says she didn't even notice the dent on the hood. She yelled "you want 4,000 for this, I didn't even see the damage on the front" She appraised my car in 20 minutes and didn't even see the front damage. I told her I was screwed over from the start and gave you a chance to come back and fix this and you gave me a lower offer than even any other dealerships. The main point is her customer service was terrible, she yelled at me as the customer. As I left she yelled at me "it's your fault you bought the car" I work in CS and if one of my employees ever talked like that to a customer they'd be fired. Check your Carfax, they'll take advantage if they can.
