We had one of the '06 RAV's with the cowl water leak (VIN specific) that caused wet carpets on the passenger side only. We took the vehicle in four times. (the first to diagnose problem) The second to attempt to uncover the source of the leak. Before the third visit, I found the TSB here at Edmunds. I had to tell them that one even existed. The service manager asked where I got the TSB number. After they "fixed" it, both front carpets were soaked after the next rain. Took it back again for the fourth visit, the temps dropped below freezing. They told me there was no problem. The carpets were frozen when I picked it up. Guess you COULD say they weren't wet. They also told me that they were between loaner fleet turnover and that they had a rental all lined up for me. We assumed that it would be paid for by them. It wasn't and when we complained, they said it was because the 36K warranty was exceeded.
