No Matter What, great Salesman

onWe drove past our local Ford dealer to go back to our old dealer, because the service has been outstanding for decades. We borrowed a salesman to show us around for two hours, and then decided to buy out our leased ford. That same salesman spent the next hour with us in Finance, with a helpful smile the whole time. Although we didn’t buy a vehicle from him, we did buy him some take out dinner. An absolute pleasure, as always, at Planet Ford in Spring.

Bad bad bad

onTook my car to quicklane for an oil change and long story short they messed up my windows tint on my front windshield. They place the mileage sticker for my next oil change on the tint portion and they tried to peel it off but noticed it was messing up the tint so they just left it alone. I only noticed as I was leaving and told Charlene about it, she said she would get the manager but she came back instead. I guess the manager had more important things to worry about than his customers. Charlene cleaned it as beat as she could but now my tint is ruined. It's all scratched up and discolored. Now I have to spend more money to get the tint redone. My recommendation is to ask customers if they would like the sticker or not. If it's going to damage their tint I would have placed it elsewhere. Spent $100 on oil change and state inspection now I have to spend another $100 to $150 to fix something yall messed up.

Expedient and Informative

onTom was great. We communicated via email and I just had to come in to sign the paperwork and pick up the van. The entire in-person process took less than 20 minutes. While there, I had questions about work trucks. Tom took me around and we discussed options. Very happy!

Very nice people

onThe employees there are all very nice and helpful. Buying the truck from the salesman(byron) to financing (Francisco) Also we had to take it in to replace the windshield because it was cracked when we bought it, plus a few other things that they missed while checking it over, but when I went in Adrian help me get everything checked over for a second time and they fixed everything that needed to be fixed with no troubles.

MY HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE!!

onI purchased pre-owned Ford Bronco in May 2023 and have had several problems since then. Here’s my list! - I was charged for an Extended warranty that I didn’t approve of. It took 2 months to get my refund while being charged interest. -June- Screw from mud flap fell out. I ran over the screwdriver and messed up my tire. I had to purchase a new tire because it’s wear and tear according to the dealership. I took the tire to get fixed and was told I needed 4 new tires. I thought cars were inspected when the dealership receives it. I guess my truck was conveniently overlooked. -July 17th- my truck was giving me some issues. I dropped my truck off to the dealership on June 17th and it wasn’t ready until August 28th. -I didn’t receive a loaner vehicle until August 22nd and had to make arrangements to get to work and around town because no vehicle was available. - The title of my truck was sent to the wrong place. - I didn’t receive any notification that my car was ready. When my husband called to check on the vehicle the person on the other end was rude! When I picked it up 2 plus months later my truck was dirty. -August 30th- After having c the vehicle for less than 24hrs. I got in the car to go to work and it wouldn’t start. My husband jumped by car. We went to the auto store to check the battery. I was informed that the battery was bad and had to spend 300.00 on a new one. They knew the battery was faulty because the cover was removed when my husband jumped it. My overall, experience was horrible!! Be careful when purchasing a vehicle from there!

Body shop repair

onI brought in a 2018 Ford F150 Supercrew cab for front end repair after hitting a deer at about 45 mph at impact. The body shop service advisor, Mr. Jose Chávez immediately evaluated the damage ($5,500) and forwarded photos to the insurance company damage adjusters. Within 24 hours Safeco (Liberty Mutual) approved the estimate and Mr. Chávez ordered the necessary parts and scheduled me to drop the vehicle off. Due to the extensive damage and volume of other vehicles in the shop a 10 calendar day shop time was estimated. I was pleased to learn the work was completed within 7 days. The technicians at Planet Ford Collision in Spring, Texas did an excellent job and you can't tell that the vehicle was damaged. I am very pleased with the workmanship and how my claim was coordinated between Planet Ford, Safeco (Liberty Mutual), and Enterprise Leasing.

onMy interaction with Planet Ford I-45, and especially with Randall Moore, was all positive…and that’s saying something when buying a car. He was always very helpful and responsive and kept me updated on the vehicle status. Even the Finance rep provided detailed info on extras without the sales pressure. A much more positive experience. I have purchased many Fords and will go an hour and a half to Planet vs 5 mins to my local dealer due to experience.
