I went into the dealer after trying to buy a new Chev 1500 on the Vara Chev website’s “Shop, Click and Drive” feature. After selecting a truck at a certain price point and submitting my documents, I was still required to go in person. When I got there, the original truck was not available but a similar truck was offered at the same price. The Internet Sales Rep, Vanessa Reyes, was very nice and accommodating but when the Finance Manager came out with a contract, it was not the advertised price. At the end of the negotiation, the dealership was trying to add an additional fee for window tint that was included earlier on the website’s description of the truck. Who pays $500 to tint 2 windows?! That is ridiculous and ended up being a deal breaker. The manager even admitted to waiving the fee for a prior customer earlier in the day but was not offered to us. Vara Chevrolet is out to deceive its customers...sad.

So i know when i went in it was a stretch because of my negative equity on my vehicle. The sales man was really good he was nice professional and a straight shooter He did all he could for me. The sales manager on the other hand didn't seem to care very much and felt that he didn't fight for me as far as the sale. He gave me a very low offer on my trade in which didnt help with the negative equity. I just felt he was giving me the run around. If i felt he would of tried more even if at the end i was still denied i would of still recommended this place.

Happy to recommend this dealership. Just purchased a new ‘19 Z06 from them and am very happy with the transaction and the way I was treated by everyone involved at the dealership. I’ll do business with them again, despite the fact that they’re 150 miles from my home.

The moment we arrived we knew what we wanted. Jordan sales man, took care of everything. No hassels,tricks. We are so satisfied with our Silverado and the financing team made it simple to get it. Other dealerships want to give u run around and pushy I know now this is only place we will go for a vechile. They offered to pick me up from work to sign forms,go above and beyond. We were so pleased,we told our family if they need anything to go there and ask for jordan.

as usual I had an excellent experience there again. the service was very swift all things concidered ,and the personel are quite courteuos BUT (just an observation) customers arrive very early at Vara on weekends for service before the gates are even opened, the drive way only accomadates a few autos ,leaving many lined up out on the expressway access road, reducing the traffic lanes from three lanes to two lanes ,with cars and semi trucks driving between 40 and 60 mph and in my opinion endangering these people parked in that lane. perhaps an advancing lane could be built by the city so as to reduce the number of cars in this traffic lane,or a different entrance perhaps I'm not sure ,but this is a serious safety problem in my opinion. I gave the dealership an excellent rating because the work performed on this visit deserved it and then I gave the dealership a below neutral rating in wether or not I would recommend them to a friend, family member of colleague because even though I was more than satisfied with the quick work they did in performing the services I needed and also because when I reported an unusual sound coming from the engine compartment they "blew me off" and stated that unless I receive a notification, "little light in the vehicle's display", there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and they also explain that the sound is normal for some vehicles; i.e., some vehicles make the sound and some don't and for this reason I give them a below neutral rating in that area ...
