Ask for ROLAND

by CrazyJeepLady on 10/08/2021

If you’re looking to buy a vehicle go to San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM and ask for ROLAND!!! My review: Roland is AMAZING! He really went above and beyond for us and fought for us! He was able to get us our new toy for the price we wanted and literally not one penny more. He always stayed in communication with us and he never played the car salesman part! Roland made this transaction seamless! I definitely will refer everyone to go ask for Roland! Thank you Roland for all you did for us we can’t tell you thank you enough!

San Antonio Dodge the Dishonest Dealerahip

by Pamela2018 on 11/24/2018

***DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP *** ***BE VERY CAREFUL***** Bought a car on 19th of Nov 2018, and was a good experience until they stuck it too me in the end. I highly advise you too consider other dealers first, and this one as a very last resort. 1. They quote one price and up sthe prices on other item's to over charge you. 2. Dont fall for the extended warranty, and dont by any means let them slide it in on your paperwork. 3. Makesure the finance person doesnt distract you with idle conversation. 4. Ensure they go through every document you sign line by line and ask lots of questions. 5.Do not let them over charge you with after market add ons. Trust me they will try. 6. Ask to see the manufacturer invoice to see how much over what they paid you are paying for the vehicle you choose. 7. Dont make rush decions no matter how tired you get. 8. They will be nice to you but not your friend, and only interested in that one instant sell than keeping a customer for a life time. 9. Report all issues to your finance company so yhere is a record of treatment, and dont be afraid to use arbitration. Dont let them get away with how they treat you. Read the reviews, thia is not new for them . I pray God watch over those taken adavantage of.

The best experience

by Jaimeramirez on 09/28/2017

They worked hard to get me what I needed. While I'm not an A+ credit customer they worked harder than any other dealership I've ever been to. I was treated with the highest respect like I could have anything from the store.amazing there are still people that have that kind of respect for customers something rarely seen. Thank you...

Employees [non-permissible content removed]

by kenneth18 on 08/30/2017

I received a spam email from your dealership stating “Due to our commitment to Chrysler to increase sales this year, I am extremely motivated to make you an offer that, under normal circumstances, would not be considered.” I figured this is general spam and a hail mary attempt to get someone into the dealership. But I thought hey, why not, maybe it is legit and I responded to the email. The original email was sent by Tony Woodard, but after I responded my communication was through Valentin “Val” Panayotov. I am pretty happy with my current truck but have considered upgrading to a Ram 3500 dully with the Aisin transmission. I searched their website and saw that they had one in stock. This was on Aug 24th. In my current situation, I am buying a house and cannot have my payment increase. So to keep my payment the same, I needed a certain amount for my trade-in and a certain amount for the truck they were selling. I expressed this to Val and asked if this was doable, because if it isn’t, there was no point in wasting anyone’s time. He responds and asks me what time I could come in. Again I expressed to him there is no point in going to the dealership if we can’t meet these numbers to begin with. I received no further response on that day (Aug 24th). I just assumed this is a deal their dealership couldn’t meet and understood. The next day (Aug25th), I get another email from “Val” asking me when I can bring my truck in. Again, I expressed there is no point in going in if they cannot get the numbers I needed. I was trying to be as upfront with this as I could. Why would I “bring my truck by?” It’s just a waste of everyone’s time, especially mine since I’m not getting paid for this time like their employees are, and I am not interested in playing the whole “get them through the door” game. So Val responds with a link to a cheaper vehicle I have no interest in and says “it seems this truck is closer to your budget.” I express to him I don’t care for the truck he suggested because it does not have the Aisin transmission. He then responds with, and I quote from the email, “Sir, This truck is no longer available... I asked you to come in while the truck still was here. Thank You!” I basically responded with “sure you did and oh well.” He then emails me back stating “I actually sold it this morning.” This of course doesn’t sit right with me. First off, if he sold it that morning (Aug 25th), then why is he emailing me back asking when I would be able to bring my trade by? Again, they are just wasting my time, especially if they supposedly sold the only truck I told them I was interested in. So I call up your dealership and ask to speak with a salesman to find out if the truck is still available or not. I spoke with Paola who confirms the truck is still available and asks when I would like to come by and see it. It is important to stay away from dealerships like this. This dealership does what they can just to get you in the door. Your time is not important or valuable to them. This dealership doesn’t listen to what vehicle the customer wants. They seem more interested in just getting you into any vehicle that financially works for you. And most importantly, they apparently employee [non-permissible content removed] such as this Valentin “Val” Panayotov. I can only give you my warning of this dealership. These are the type of dealerships you want to stay away from. God knows how many others they have treated like this. How many others has “Val” lied too?

Great experience

by Psecontracting on 08/05/2017

Customer service was excellent had been to several dealerships prior trying to find a good deal. This one gave me the best deal and bar far the very best customer service. Juan and his team were very professional but friendly. That's what I'll always remember about this dealership and will always consider them when shopping for new or used vehicle.

No pressure from salesperson. Entire process was very quick and easy. Actually found us extra rebates. Liked that we could see the manager instead of the salesperson disappearing in the back.

Awesome Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon

by Manuel_C22 on 08/02/2017

Jovan Cooper went out of his way to get us in the Jeep Wrangler we were looking for! The dealership closes at 9:00 and we were getting finished up until 10:30. Extremely satisfied with the whole buying process. Did I mention we showed up at 7:30?

by Johnnydodge99 on 06/21/2017

Very helpful and knew their stuff..dealership was nice. They stayed late to close sale and did not appear bothered by us staying late. Gps from website sent me to downtown. This issue may prevent people from going to the location. It was the click for directions on site.

Non-Disclosure and Negligent Transaction (Fraud?)

by lkeiser on 03/21/2017

I would love to share photos with anyone who asks regarding the new truck I just bought from San Antonio Dodge on I35. They will show you what happens when a dealership neglects a vehicle knowing it has water leaks. Gabriella Ramon is the area manager and she refuses to repair the over $5,000 in damage that is required to fix the brand new truck I just purchased. The General Manager will not even talk to us. Apparently, the truck was parked in Houston and may have gotten flooded. No Car Fax shows any of this and we did not look underneath the seats for any damage as a presale inspection. Why would a dealership not want to provide good customer service and take ownership of the problem they blatantly passed on to their customer - ME? Chrysler will not repair because they call it negligence on the dealership. They knew about the problem and did nothing. Today, because I have seen the old service reports, dating way before I purchased the truck, it shows they knew about the leaks. They did NOT disclose any of this information to me before I bought the vehicle because, and I quote them: "we don't have to disclose that information to our customers." I used USAA Car Buying Service and I am hoping for some positive feedback from them. On a good note Chrysler is agreeing to repair the leak, install a new headliner and replace the damaged side airbags that was caused by the leaks. But Chrysler nor the dealership are willing to fix the $5,000 in damage underneath the seats that are all rusted. The truck has been in the shop for 3 weeks out of the two months that I have owned it. So, I send this message for all new car buyers. Buyer Beware: Have it thoroughly inspected inside, outside, upside and downside before you sign on the dotted line. Lesson learned! Don't make the same mistake we did. If it says "Manager's Special" - look out.

Awful follow up on the sale

by Boatgod on 09/24/2016

Drove from Austin to San Antonio on a Monday to look at a used car. Bought used car but when paperwork couldn't be completed the Dealer Manager Rob told us he'd have a courier bring the paperwork to Austin on Monday. When that didn't happen called on Tuesday and they said they'd Fed Ex that day over night. When no Fed Ex on Thursday called and they said they'd do it that day. On Saturday when no Fed Ex called and said they'd send on Monday. The dealer plates expired on Tuesday so the new car is going to sit in the driveway a whole week after purchase. Obviously they should be bringing by carrier today (Saturday) when that is what they promised to do to close the sale on the first place. With sales service like this I don't know how you can trust one damned thing they tell you. Caveat Emptor.
