Fantastic buying experience

My first car purchase from a dealer was in 1984. Since then I've bought a couple dozen new and used cars from dealers across the country, from Georgia to Virginia to North Carolina to Illinois to Texas. In all those years and all those purchases, the only buying experience I ever had that was as good as Round Rock Nissan was at a Ford dealership in Durham NC 32 years ago. Nothing else comes close. It was two hours from the time I walked in to the time I drove off the lot, and that's including the test drive. There were no hassles or surprises at any point, neither from the salesperson nor the finance manager. No one tried to pressure me into buying stuff I didn't want. The whole process was above board from start to finish. It's theoretically possible I happened to encounter the exceptional salesperson and finance manager who are unusually straightforward and pleasant to work with, and everyone else there is a snake. But I doubt it. In my experience that sort of square dealing starts at the top with the management.

Fantastic service. It'll be tough to take my vehicle anywhere else after how great Round Rock Nissan was. They were great about providing updates - including videos of items needing repair before allowing me to opt-in to service, they were as transparent as possible with pricing and time estimates, and they were just really pleasant to interact with in general. Lynn was my service advisor, and she was on top of everything the entire time and made me feel very comfortable with my vehicle in their hands.

Saturday’s TOP-NOTCH Service@ Round Rock Nissan

We brought my wife’s Murano into Round Rock Nissan’s Service department at our earlier established appointment time to have an oil & filter change and to have a State Inspection performed. Our Service advisor , Stan Hill , was available immediately to help us with the intake process. Stan also mentioned that a free courtesy inspection would be performed to make sure everything was “ up to par “ , mechanically , on the car. We , then , went home to await Stan’s update their progress on the original tasks that we had ordered. About an hour and a half after we left the shop , we got a message from Stan advising that all was well with the car EXCEPT that the rear wheel brakes could use some attention. We agreed to have a “ brake-job “ - - as clearly detailed in the message Stan sent to us - - performed in addition to the other tasks the shop had performed. A couple of hours or so after that conversation , Stan contacted us to let us know that all the work was completed and we could come to get the car. Stan Hill explained CLEARLY all of the entries on the invoice so as to avoid any confusion on my part. THAT WAS VERY HELPFUL ! Once again , and as has been the norm for us with Round Rock Nissan , we were very pleased with the service , the cost , and with our Service Advisor , Stan Hill !

2019 Nissan Sentra Used Good Price/Had Recall

We purchased a used 2019 Nissan Sentra. It has a key ignition. There was only one key. You'd think they would have had a new one made. But no, that's on me to do and pay for. I also noticed after the fact, there's an active recall on the stop light. If RR Nissan took the time to do a whole laundry list of repairs, why wasn't the recall done too. Now I have to get that fixed. I don't enjoy spending 3-4 hours at the dealership on a Saturday. I emailed the sales manager and sales rep. They haven't responded. I'm no longer important after the fact.

Not all dealerships are the same and this applies to service centers as well. I have been bringing my Frontier to Round Rock Nissan after Cedar Park Nissan proved to have poor service quality. So far, Round Rock Nissan has delivered excellent service for my vehicle for over a year. I will continue to use Round Rock Nissan over all other central Texas Nissan service centers for the foreseeable future.

Poor customer service in Finance on 2023 certified purchase

It's unfortunate that we had to deal with an unprofessional finance manager. At one point my son who was purchasing the car asked about the first payment due date. The finance guy told him when he got home a read the contract he would find the information in the contract on page one. What a horrible experience for my son on his first car purchase at a dealership. Now we understand why dealership get bad reputation for customer service at financing.

Everyone from the moment that I walked in was friendly and professional. Brandon Swanwick was the sales person and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to work with. He was very well informed with the vehicle that I purchased and went over everything with me in detail. We loved this dealership so much that my husband purchased a vehicle five days later! Definitely not your typical auto dealership experience, and it was well worth it to drive to Round Rock. The management team was the absolute BEST!
