We had a bad purchase from another Dodge dealership in March of 2016. After a long battle with Chrysler we came to Dodge City of McKinney to trade in our first Durango, with little expectation of being satisfied given all that we'd gone through. To our surprise - we left genuinely thrilled! James and Byron completely turned a very frustrating situation into the greatest car-buying experience we've ever had. They made it their goal to make it right, and they were incredibly personable and understanding. I wish this was our first stop in our search for a Dodge Durango. They're like a big happy family and want to make their customers feel welcome and at home. There was laughing, story telling, hugging and so much more. All around a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday. I doubt many people can say that about visiting a car dealership.

I initially spoke with Gus Rodriguez who is the owner. Gus welcomed me as if I were family. He introduced me to my sales person "Shannon Glen" and also the sales manager "CJ". The entire process was quick and stress free. They all handled the deal well and continued to make me feel like family as well as Jay, the finance rep. First off, I HATE leaving negative reviews but this is literally the last recourse I have and I hope NO ONE has to deal with this shop the way I've had to deal with it. Glad to see some others with good experience with these guys. Jeeps are awesome! :-) My experience... I've had nothing but problems from sales to service to buying a lemon to needing to hire a lawyer to being lied to, stole from, abandoned, and left to rot being ripped off by this dealership and Chrysler Corp for 2 YEARS!!! So much wasted time and money I can never possibly explain or get it all down on one review. After a legal battle, losing about $5K, more than a year of my life going unto that damn place sometimes as much as 3 times a week to be met with apathetic people who had more interest in calling me a liar than helping me correct a problem with the $45K dollar car I bought from them, I finally hired a lawyer and magically they were able to prove my car was indeed the lemon I said it was. After finally going through the grueling process of doing a buy back (that cost me about $3K just for that), I was able to get a good car but, they still have not transferred my extended warranty and service package to my new vehicle and it's been 9 months. So it's still going on 2 years later. I've went in to the shop and called multiple times and no one seems to care because it's not a deal that makes them money anymore. They'll hustle to help you if it's a new deal but service after that is not just non existent, it's almost like you're putting them out and they actively try to let you know that they have your money now and that all they care about. And I'm talking about new car sales with their higher end cars. Once they get your money, you're a nuance and a pain to them. I'm out almost 2 years of stress filled, time wasted life, about $5K in cash out of my pocket, didn't get what I paid for (they basically stole from me), and countless hours of lost wages from having to go in there so much to deal with all of the problems. I love my Jeep but I cannot recommend this shop. If you're looking for a Jeep, I say absolutely get one and pray it doesn't have problems. They're awesome rigs. But go to the shop in Frisco or even Bonham because from my experience, if you have ANY kind of problems with this place, it's going to end up being VERY expensive in time, stress, frustration, and money and who knows of will ever get resolved. Time for me to eat my losses and move on because every time I try to get a resolution, it just ends up costing me more than its worth. It's caused so much stress, I woke up at 445 this morning thinking about it and trying to figure out how to make it right (when they should be the ones doing that) and in thE end, they win. I'm too tired and worn out to keep trying. Moving on hoping this review will at least inform people and keep them aware if they choose to work with this shop or convince them of the better option of going to a different shop all together

After the car buying experience with James Craig at Dodge City of McKinney, this dealership has earned my business for a very long time. From the very beginning, James had been a pleasure to work with. He was there at every step of the way and answered every question I had asked...with a smile on his face. I had been to two other dealers the same day and both of them seemed like they just wanted to make as much money as they could. I spoke with James about my needs and had to leave the dealership due to work and within the hour, he called with a vehicle that was what I was looking for. He explained every step to me, walked me to every person I needed to speak with, and kept me updated with time frames throughout the process. I do believe I was the very last customer of the night and he was still there to walk me out the door well after closing. Thank you again James for making this car buying experience so easy and having such great customer service.

Today is the 2nd time I've bought a car from Dodge City! Roberto Lozano found the car I wanted within minutes, C.J. not only found the finance for the car very quickly, but even lowered my car payment. Thanks for the great car experience for the 2nd time! BIG SUGGESTION: I bought GAP insurance for the 2nd time because after my 2nd car was totaled, I'm only in a new car again because the GAP insurance made sure I wasn't upside down for $8,000. Buy GAP insurance, no matter what!

Wonderful service, no pressure, and the most friendliness staff around. Shanon Glenn my car salesman went above and beyond!! Mike in finance was amazing as well. I had just gone through an aggressive four surgery. And the staff was very helpful and made it very quick and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.
