BEWARE OF DEALER!

by cjagnelli1 on 07/22/2011

READ BEFORE BUYING! If you want your cars warranty and service, buy elsewhere. My recommendation is to stay as far away from BMW/Mini of Austin due to the GM Jason Leker. I bought a 2011 Mini Countryman and had the worst experience known. Due to this I ended up losing a house I was buying as due to their negligence my credit score went down while in closing. But more importantly of staying away? Due to me putting a formal complaint agains't BMW/Mini of Austin the owner has now REFUSED to Service the car despite it being under warranty. Something is wrong with it and they refused to even look at it? Now is this the kind of dealer you want to deal with? Is this the kind of owner of a place that employs a GM like this that you buy your car from you want to profit from? Now roadside assistance has to tow the to San Antonio and I get to take BMW/Mini to small claims court as well as notify the Attorney Generals Office for complaint. Again, do you really want to buy from a dealer that you have to take to court to get your car serviced? Spread the word on BMW/Mini of Austin's ethic from their dealer and owner!

Nightmare Dealer

by cjagnelli1 on 05/04/2011

100% Bad Experience. It's sad as Mini knows they are the only Mini in Austin and they treat you that way. Bad news since I stepped in the door. RUINED my credit report + score. Ordered 2011 Countryman and during the 6 weeks of waiting to get it, would take days to return phone calls or emails. Had to leave work and drive to Mini to get answers. Then it took them almost 2 weeks to pay off trade in AFTER the Finance called them and said the loan was due in 5 days. This now has made my credit score drop 85 pts. Arguing with Honda and have to put in appeals to Equifax, TransUnion and Experian. The house I was buying is now on hold as I cannot close until this is fixed which takes 30-45 days. So if you want a place to ruin your credit, treat you bad, and never get back to you...Mini of Austin is the place for you. I may also add the tinting company they recommended to do the work on my car...I had to go somewhere else to pay $612 for the removal as well as the redo if their butchered job. Thanks Mini of Austin!
