We were in the market for a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD & could not find what we were looking for in our area. We did find exactly what we wanted at AutoNation West in Amarillo. After speaking with Kenyon Sikalasinh & Kevin Kessenger several times on the phone, we made the decision to take a little road trip from Baytown, Texas. After arriving at the dealership we were met by 3 gentlemen, Kevin Kessenger, Kenyon Sikalasinh & Ryan Johnson. We could not have asked for a better group of men. From the moment we stepped foot in the dealership to the time that we left, we were meet with so much kindness that it felt as though we were visiting family. I like the service they do because you don't have to make an appointment some times you can just drive in. And just not like the times when they not clean all the oil when getting an oil change.

Autonation ruined my car battery

Took my 2016 Chevy Impala to Autonation West Amarillo because the power steering was periodically shutting down. They charged me $342.95 labor and $38.56 for shop supplies. They said the checked all the connections and everything was OK and said there was a software update that would hopefully correct the problem. First why is the $343 charge in labor? How long does it take to check connections, second if it a software update, what is the shop supplies? Third, they drained my car battery so far it damaged the battery and will no longer hold a charge. I have spent the last three days charging and jump starting my car. I have had 3 places check the charging system and all three say that the charging system is working perfectly, but the battery has very low cranking amperage and needs to be replaced. I will not ever take my car back there. It came out worst then it went in

Routine Oil Change

I dropped my car off at 11am for the routine oil change. They did not have my car finished when I arrived at 4:50pm I paid my bill and asked where my car was. They gave me keys to someone else's car. I went back in and told them that was not my car. Then I was told by the service advisor that my car was out getting a wash. 25 mins to 6pm I still did not have my car. I went to the front and they told me that they had lost my keys. My car was not cleaned or washed. They just blew me off until I asked why my car was not there. I had an extra set of keys for my car thankfully. I was able to get it. They are going to call me when they find my keys. I am very disappointed in the service and why they could not have been honest with me from the start. No making me sit there worrying about what happened.

AC died as I arrived in Amarillo in 103 degree temp. Anne & Terry turned my repair around in remarkable time. Anne was especially friendly and helpful with fantastic communications. The personal service was more like Neiman Marcus than an auto dealer.

Needed trip check and new plugs on my truck

Ended up also replacing bad valve cover gasket and flushing brake fluid. Coby did good with explaining what things were checked also repairs that were needed what was done. Also appreciated appreciated receiving back a washed truck.
