Extremely Happy Customer!

Well I seldom take time to write a review, like once every five years! In this case I thought I would be completely amiss if I did not- out of appreciation write a glowing review of my experience at Honda Hacks Cross! I called about a vehicle that I found online and set an appointment to come in. Originally I spoke with the car sales manager LAURIE- (an Aussie)- Who was a great communicator and very fun to talk to. He then connected me with a salesman name Tim who sounds like he’s 30 on the phone but when you meet him he has white hair…lol i’m telling you these guys are over the top, they’re easy to work with they’re entertaining, they’re fun, they’re straightforward and highly professional! I saw the car, I drove the car and I bought the car! The process was streamlined, quick and easy! I had bought an atlas Volkswagen that was too big for me to drive and got back into a Honda Odyssey which is perfect for me- they gave me a great price for my Volkswagen so I also sold them that car which was another very easy process! These guys are trustworthy highly efficient and super fun to work with- I give Honda at hacks cross a five out of five stars and if I could give them 10 - I would! If you want to enjoy your car buying experience Tim has access to all the AutoNation car lots and he can look online and find any car you looking for and I promise you will enjoy working with him he is the nicest fellow! Everyone is so helpful. The service manager and all his staff are so nice, professional and friendly. All done in a timely basis. They always help about my new car. I had a Honda Element for 18 yrs. I really like my new car but it is so electronic but no complaints. It has lots of safety features. The sales department was great to work with too. Great management at 385 Honda!!!

Chris Higgins is an amazing service advisor!

The best Honda dealership in Memphis! I moved to Memphis in 2021 and AutoNation Honda has been taking care of me since. I love their online appointment scheduling service, which is very convenient for me. Chris Higgins which is my service advisor is great! I’m always greeted with him as soon as I pull in through the gate, with the paperwork of my service I’m getting done that day. He keeps me updated throughout the time I’m sitting there waiting on my vehicle. He always makes sure I’m up to date on all my service needs. Thank you so much Chris Higgins & AutoNation Honda!

Pilot Needed

Tim Dacus was very helpful in making sure I was able to find a used Honda Pilot in my price range. The Best Car Buying Experience

I must say that this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever experienced. I was very nervous and scared because the past experiences was not so good with other dealers. My Salesman Joshua Lee was my salesman and he was phenomenal. He made the process smooth and comfortable for me. He communicated from start to finish. I was blown away how fast the entire process was. I am very pleased and satisfied.

Amazing Service Always

This dealership is where I purchased my first 2015 and second Honda Accord 2019. My family and I have been truly pleased with Honda 385. The service department has very nice workers as you come in. They greet you and ask you the nature of your visit, and to our service consultant Chris makes sure everything goes smoothly. I/We trust this location with our vehicle. Honda respective, we're very nice and professional, once I pulled up Honda was waiting on me. They said it was going to take 2 hours and was ready bye then. Explain what needs to be done next with my car and the price. Even washed the car. Thank you honda

Consistent and Thorough**

I received service on my vehicle at this location several times. Each time the service has been great. Depending on the type of service I received on my vehicle, the wait time has been reasonable. The great service provided has been consistent. They took time to explain different aspects of the vehicle's maintenance. An oily mess

On July 29, 2021, my wife had the oil change on our 2018 Honda Accord. The vehicle has 19,200 odd miles. On Monday, August 3, 2021, I discovered a large oil leak in our garage floor. I returned the vehicle to the dealership, was told that oil was on the undercarriage of the vehicle and the vehicle was not leaking oil. On August 4, 2021, I discovered a smaller oil leak on the floor of my garage, and once again I returned the vehicle to the dealership. We have not had this problem before the oil change on July 2021. I received a text message advising me my vehicle is ready to be picked up but was not advising what caused the oil leak. The vehicle runs fine as one would expect from a vehicle that has 19,200 miles.

Why bother with an appointment at AutoNation 385? Why go to them at all?

I brought my Civic in for an oil change. The AutoNation guys found during their inspection that the brake rotors needed to be turned. My service advisor left me a message saying they could complete the work in about 90 minutes he just needed the OK. That's where things started downhill ... I attempted to return his call within 20 minutes but was not able to reach him. I was finally able to work my way through the phone tree to get to a Service Dept. person and let them know that I wanted the brake work done. Two hours later no word from anyone so I stopped by to see how much longer. Not only had they not started, it would be another hour before they could get to my car -- the service advisor said it was because of the delay from hearing me -- a three hour delay because of 20 minutes and him not answering his phone!? I did not have two more hours to wait for the work and made an appointment to have the brake work done the next week. I had an appointment at 9:30 a.m. and my new service advisor thought the work would be done around 1:00 p.m. By 1:30 I had not heard from anyone so I worked my way through the phone system to my service advisor and was told it would be two hours before they would be done -- they were just starting to evaluate if the service (that was recommended by them the week before) was needed -- what!? When I asked why the delay I was told it was because of people waiting. I talked to the Assistant Service Manager and expressed my displeasure at the ridiculous amount of time this was taking to do this. He offered to drive the car to me -- hopefully that same day or in the morning. When the Service Advisor called me to say the work had been done he said the car would be dropped off after the morning rush. No word again by noon the next day, so I call back and work my way through the phone system and get the Service Manager. When I asked when I was going to get my car, he didn't know I wanted it back in the morning -- what!? The whole problem with understanding what needed to be done -- he said the appointment system doesn't talk to the work order system. I gave them the date of my original visit when all this came up, so even if their systems aren't integrated they had the info they needed already (and don't complain to your customers about your computer system problems). Both of these service visits were on my days off ... sitting around waiting on these guys to do what they said they would do is not how I wanted to spend my vacation days. All this to say, the AutoNation 385 service department is not worth the hassle. There are many other places to take your car that can do the work and actually have some idea of when it will be done and have some common sense about how to handle their customers. I talked to two other customers waiting for the service guys that overheard my discussions with the managers and they had similar stories of promised times not being anywhere near what actually happened. If I had done this to one of my customers, my boss would have my head!

I always get great service every time I have my Honda Pilot in for any kind of service or service recall. i always deal with john Tierney, Senior Service, Advisor who goes above and beyond the call for me every time I come in. Goes over everything that was done to my car & explains any questions I may have. Recommend John to all my friends who have Hondas & that includes my wife who has a new 2020 Honda CRV. Only person I prefer to deal with so I contact John ahead of time to be sure he will be there the day I come in.
